Sukumar is producers nightmare, Ravi Teja's Costly Demands

Sukumar is producers nightmare!

Director Sukumar is one of the very few intelligent filmmakers in our film industry. He is a creative genius and his films speak volumes about his spectacular filmmaking skills. Sukumar's brilliant ideas made him everybody's favorite. Even a director of Rajamouli's caliber is a big fan of his.

However, having extraordinary talent is not enough to be on top in film industry. A director has to understand the dynamics of a cinema. He should calculate and consider all the things that make a film work at the box office. Directors can't simply make a film as per their interests without considering the safety of producer's investment.

Sukumar has this problem of budget control and that was highlighted many a times. He failed to keep it simple for films like Jagadam and Arya 2, which ended up as commercial failures. Right now he is making 1 with a very high budget. This is touted to be the highest budget film ever in Telugu cinema history. Only time Sukumar was under control was for Arya and 100% Love movies. Producers need to keep constant check on him or else things will go out of hands before they realize.

Ravi Teja's Costly Demands

For the first time in his glorious career as a mass action hero, Mass Raja Raviteja is sitting idle without attending any shoots. This is not something that happened due to his poor form, but this happened due to his costly demands. Here goes a buzz that is going strong in film nagar.

Director-producer YVS Chowdary backed out from producing another movie with Raviteja. Earlier he produced Nippu with him and later he is supposed to make a film with Mass Raja under the direction of writer Bobby. If we keep YVS aside, many producers actually die to work with Raviteja but they are not even paying advance to him now. This is because of two things, firstly Raviteja is not interested in acting at a price of range of 4-5 crores that best suits him at the moment keeping his recent flops in mind. He is heard demanding more than 7 crores per flick. Secondly, he is not willing to act in movies that are budgeted below 30 crores. Costly foreign locations and pricey costumes are said to be topping the demands of Ravi.

For these two reasons, producers are said to be keeping away from him. Because his market is just nearing 30-35 crores and only a hit film will tell what he is capable of. According to reports, Raviteja is yet to find a producer for his latest movie under Bobby's direction.
