Chiranjeevi was emotional after watching GURU?

It is a known fact that both Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi share a superb friendship from a very long time. Going into details, Venkatesh had arranged a special screening of the film for Chiranjeevi a few days back and reports suggest that Chiru loved the film and Venky’s performance completely.
The talk is that Chiru was quite emotional after watching the film and praised Venkatesh to no extent. Venky’s mature role as a boxing coach has become the talk of the town ever since the trailer was launched.
All those who saw the film have only very good things to say about this film which is a complete sports drama. Guru is set for a massive release tomorrow.

Chandu Showcased Nag And Venky Perfectly

Premam, the coming-of-age musical-romantic comedy film directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is getting rave response. Nagarjuna and Venkatesh played original roles of Naga Chaitanya's dad and uncle respectively in the film.

The cameos have come out as pleasant surprise for viewers and seem to be big advantage for the film. In fact, fans are happy to see the senior actors in brief roles alongside the young Chaitu.

Since director Chandoo Mondeti altered script without spoiling soul of the original, it is being liked by all section of spectators. And the director rightly used Venkatesh and Nagarjuna for appropriate roles.

Venkatesh was stylish and entertaining in cop avatar. The only sequence of him with Chaitu in college was amusing. Nagarjuna lent voice over, apart from portraying Chaitu's father. His sweet words about love are pleasing.

Naga Chaitanya showed variations in character. It is delight for fans to watch him in Soggadu get-up in pre-climax episode.

Chandoo should be lauded for effectively handling remake of Malayalam cult-classic. He succeeded in dealing both writing and making departments. In fact, it was not an easy job to remake such emotional entertainers.

Congrats to the entire team as the movie has already got hit talk!

Venky's Safe Deal For GURU

Hero Venkatesh's Guru first look poster released couple of days ago to good response. Venkatesh stunned one and all with his complete makeover for the film. The actor built muscular physique looked rugged with grown beard and moustaches.

We reliably learnt that, Venkatesh is charging zero remuneration. But he cleverly made an interesting deal with his producers. As per it, Venky will get the amount of satellite rights deal as his pay for Guru. Perhaps, this is the first time; a Telugu hero is keeping satellite rights with him.

In fact, most of the senior and top stars of Tollywood are demanding area rights, whereas Venky who has good following among families has asked his makers to pay 'satellite rights' amount.

Despite box office results, Venkatesh's films make decent business, when it comes to small screen. Therefore, he did make right deal. We need to see how much satellite business will Guru make!

In the film, Venkatesh is playing boxing coach and Ritika Singh will be seen as his student. Guru is official remake of Hindi- Tamil hit film Saala Khadoos (Irudhi Suttru). Sudha Kongara is directing the film being made under Y Not Studios Banner by S Sasikanth.

The makers have plans to release Guru for Christmas, 2016.

Dad And Uncle are Playing Cameos For Premam

There have been reports that, Nagarjuna will be seen in a special role in his elder son Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film Premam. Nag clarified on it saying, he lent voice over for the film and also did a short cameo.

'I will be seen in climax of the film,' said Nagarjuna who is presently busy promoting his latest production venture Nirmala Convent which marks debut of hero Srikanth's son Roshan.

As we all know, Naga Chaitanya's uncle Venkatesh has essayed a guest role in the film which is an eponymous remake of Malayalam blockbuster film of same name. This is the first time the duo acted together, although Chaitu got to work with his dad in the super hit film Manam.

Nag and Venky's roles are not part of the original and were specially added in the remake. Cameos of his dad and uncle will definitely be a big boon for Chaitu's film that has Shruti Haasan, Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastian in female lead roles.

Premam audio launch event was supposed on September 20th in Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. Apparently, the venue is changed with the Telangana government announcing renovation works for the auditorium in the whole month. As per insiders, Novatel would be the venue to host the event.

Interim, Premam will hit the screens on October 7th for dussehra.

Nithya Menon To Romance Senior Hero Movie?

Short beauty Nithya Menon usually prefers content based films, rather than regular mass masala entertainers. This is the reason why she refused to star opposite senior and star heroes. Although Nithya has changed her mind, she still is choosy over her films.

As per latest information we received, Nithya Menon is finalized to play leading lady in senior hero Venkatesh's next film to be directed by Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja fame.

The film officially titled Aadavaallu Meeku Joharlu will have utmost prominence for actress Nithya Menon, so she straight away accepted the project when director narrated story and also her characterization.

NTR and Samantha co-starred Janatha Garage provided much needed break for Nithya Menon whose most of the films released in couple of years were debacles at box office. Her character in Aadavaallu Meeku Joharlu is said to be powerful and the title also hints the same.

On the flip side, Venkatesh never objected when filmmakers titled his films after heroine names or representing females' significance. He didn't even complain, when his heroines are given foremost importance.

It will be interesting to see senior hero Venkatesh and the young Nithya Menon together!

Mohan Babu @ 40, Bigger Than Vajrotsavam

The MB40, the event to celebrate Mohan Babu's 40 years career in film industry, to be held on September 17th in Vizag has been the talk of the Tollywood town. There is much anticipation about the event and a positive vibe in the South Indian film industry with all top stars looking ahead to be a part of the celebrations.

Mohan Babu, being a respected name in the South Indian film industry, will have the company of the likes of Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Balakrishna along with many other veteran Tollywood stars on this special day. The event will also see the attendance of the new generation stars from the film industry.

Planned at a massive scale, the event is speculated to be huge in terms of the glamour quotient. Sources have revealed that the event can be considered to be on par, or rather even bigger than the Vajrotsavam that was held a few years ago and was a huge success.

Mohan Babu completed 40 years in the Telugu Film Industry in 22nd November 2015. With over 560 films to his credit, the actor has made a unique place for himself in the history of Telugu cinema. His contribution to the film industry was also recently commemorated at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, with Lifetime Achievement Award.

Negative talk for Thikka is helping Babu Bangaram

Expectations were high on Thikka before the release, since Sai Dharam Tej delivered hat trick of hits with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subramanyam For Sale and Supreme. Even with an average content, Thikka would have become a big hit. Nonetheless, Thikka was criticized as meaningless film.

The Suneel Reddy directed film made of Rs 22 Crores is the highest budgeted film in Sai's career. One thing we must agree is lavishness is seen in every single frame. Other than that, the film offers nothing for any section of audiences.

On the flip side, Venkatesh's Babu Bangaram received mixed response after its release. Fortunately, the unanimous negative talk for Thikka is helping Babu Bangaram to rake decent shares.

Moreover, there is no other film for Telugu audience to watch at theaters for now, other than Babu Bangaram, when it comes to new arrivals of this week.

In fact, Babu Bangaram is the biggest opener in Venkatesh's career. Although the film's collections slowed down on second day due to average ratings and also because of Thikka's release.

Usually, openings will be high for medium to high range heroes films. Likewise, houseful boards were seen in many theaters for very first shows of Thikka. But, sudden drop in collections was witnessed from matinee shows itself.

As per trade analysts, the Maruthi directed movie made of decent budget would be a safe venture for producers as well as distributors in most of the areas, wherein Thikka would end as one of the biggest disasters of the year.

Venkatesh want to work Hollywood film "Taken" series?

Venkatesh who is busy promoting Babu Bangaram has expressed his wish of acting in Drishyam sequel. He also suggested that the story of the sequel would follow the outline of Hollywood film 'Taken' series. Venkatesh also hinted the film should be high on action like the Hollywood series.

Venkatesh did act in experimental and family drama films thus far. Drishyam which was official remake of Malayalam film of same title was high on emotions and drama. Although the movie wasn't up to the range of the Malayalam version, it made profitable business and provided break for Venkatesh.

Seems like, Venkatesh is wishing to star in full-fledged action entertainer and is hinting writers and directors to come up with scripts of the genre. In fact, it's been long time since he acted in a full length mass entertainer. His upcoming film Babu Bangaram will also have action, but entertainment is key facet.

Meanwhile, Babu Bangaram is all set for release on August 12th worldwide. Venkatesh accepted to do three films in recent times. He will next work with director Kishore Tirumala and will simultaneously work for Saala Khadoos remake.

Venkatesh has also given green signal for Bichagadu fame director Sasi with whom he previously associated for Seenu.

Trend: damage-control measures : Trimming movie, even BB got trimmed!

If sources are to be believed, Babu Bangaram is trimmed by 8 minutes after the makers felt lag in the film. Few portions of the film were scissored in the edit room and it's said to be a joint call by director, producer and the star. It's learnt that the unit is now happy after the editing and all set to release the film this week.

Even the production house's previous film A..Aa had carried slightly negative talk before the film's release and reports had it that the movie was a bit slow. After trimmed by 15 minutes, the movie has released to positive reviews all over and the film got good response and went onto collect Rs 50 Crore.

Given that many films like Brahmotsavam, Sardaar failed to impress the audience and later trimmed after the release but haven't gained much out of it as the damage would be done once the film releases, makers are now opting for damage-control measures even before the film hit the screens.

Let's wait and see whether this trimming helps Babu Bangaram or not as Venky is pinning all hopes on this 'comeback' film.

Venkatesh: Nayan was perfect choice!

Victory Venkatesh's much anticipated film 'Babu Bangaram' is all set for a grand release this Friday. Venkatesh and Maruti are busily promoting this film but the film's leading lady Nayanathara is not seen anywhere. There were many rumours about Nayan's differences with 'Babu Bangaram' team and Venkatesh finally opened up on this issue.

In recent interview, he said that Nayan was perfect choice for the role. He added that, 'She said that she would not attend the promotions at the beginning of the shoot itself.' He also said that 'Babu Bangaram' team had no differences with Nayanathara and the shooting went on smoothly.

On the other hand, 'Babu Bangaram' will face tough competition from Sai Dharam's 'Thikka' which is releasing on same day. Also, starting of Krishna Pushkaraluon the same day may affect the film's collections.

Venkatesh "Aadallu meeku Joharlu"

The title of Venkatesh new film has been fixed and interestingly it is called as "Aadallu Meeku Joharlu". It reads as "Hats off to women". The Drushyam star having good fan base among women is common knowledge as most of his films are connected to women, or watchable by women, families.

The movie will be helmed by Kishore Tirumala who earlier directed splashy hit Nenu Sailaja. Billed to be out and out family entertainer, the ,movie will go onto floors in October.

Venkatesh had hits like "Aadavari Matalaku Ardale Verule", "Malleeswari", "Laksmi", "Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav", "Sankranthi", which saw huge turn out from women, family audience. Looks like, Venky would be once again going to be part of a film that is close to his target audience.

Meanwhile, Venky would be starring in the Telugu remake of Saala Khadoos which will start rolling from September 1st. Prasad V Potluri is bankrolling this sports drama film. Venky is expected to work simultaneously on these two films.

Babu Bangaram excellent pre-release Business and Venkatesh stood by his producers

Venkatesh and Nayanathara starrer Babu Bangaram has completed its censor formalities and the film is gearing up for release on August 12th. The Maruthi directed movie is making excellent pre release business. The movie made Rs 27.5 crores business in terms of worldwide theatrical rights.

Nizam and Ceded rights were sold for Rs 6 crores and 4.05 crores respectively. Entire Andhra rights fetched 12.8 crores for the producers. Leading players BlueSky has bought overseas rights by shelling out 2.25 crores. Pre release business of Karnataka and rest of India has been closed at 2.5 crores, taking total business to 27.5 Cr.

The makers are planning to promote the film vigorously, but Nayanathara's unprofessional behavior is troubling them. The actress hadn't shot a song had skipped audio launch event too. She may not attend any of other promotional events too.

Providentially, Venkatesh stood by his producers has promised them to handle promotions single handedly. Babu Bangaram marks 70th film for Venkatesh who did two films in Hindi. The film is also releasing in Tamil as Selvi.

Madhavan trained for 2 years, How about Venkatesh?

Hero Venkatesh who is awaiting the release of Babu Bangaram is undergoing vigorous training in boxing for his next film which is remake of Hindi-Tamil bilingual Saala Kadoos (Irudhi Suttru in Tamil).

The film to be bankrolled by Suresh Productions requires Venkatesh to muscle up and take boxing lessons and the actor has already started taking his role very seriously. He will also be required to shed weight and Venkatesh is working towards that.

What's more, Venkatesh employed an instructor to train him to play the role of a boxing coach in the film. Madhavan who essayed lead in Tamil and Hindi versions underwent complete training for two years.

Although Venkatesh played variety of roles earlier, this is the first time he is acting in a sports drama film. Ritika Singh, the kick boxer turned actress who stunned audiences and critics alike with her performance in the original is roped for the Telugu remake to be helmed by Sudha Kongara, who helmed the Hindi and Tamil versions.

Meanwhile, Venkatesh's Babu Bangaram directed by Maruthi and has Nayanthara in female lead role is due for release on August 12th.

Due to her unprofessional behavior, no Telugu filmmaker is keen on signing her!

Venkatesh and Nayanthara starrer Babu Bangaram release is scheduled for August 12th. Apparently, the Maruthi directorial movie will see theaters on the date if and only if actress Nayanthara co-operates with the makers to wrap up the remaining portions.

As per reliable sources, Nayanthara hasn't given clarity over when can she allot call sheets. The actress who is hectic busy with handful of Tamil projects is not getting time to complete last schedule of Babu Bangaram. The makers are in tensions yet again as the release date is not far away.

Babu Bangaram release has been postponed countless times, because of Nayanthara. Although the actress recently promised the makers to join the shoot by July end or early in August is not giving any clarity for them. Nayan hadn't even attended the film's audio launch event took place in the month.

Due to her unprofessional behavior, no Telugu filmmaker is keen on signing Nayanthara for their new ventures. She was considered for several biggies such as Chiranjeevi's 150th film, Balakrishna's 100th movie Gautamiputra Satakarni etc. Nonetheless, she lost all the prestigious ventures owing to her busy schedules.

Nayanthara is the only hope for Venkatesh's film !

Venkatesh's upcoming hilarious entertainer Babu Bangaram will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Tamil as Selvi (which means Miss) on August 12th. Bhadrakali Films has acquired the rights for Tamil Nadu to release both the versions in the state.

Nayanthara who is a star heroine in Tamil right now is the only hope for the Tamil distributors, since Venkatesh is not a well-known star there. Few of Venkatesh films were dubbed and released in the past in Tamil, none were considerable hits there.

Nayanthara is in best form with back to back hits in Tamil. She is the highest paid actress in south. If a grapevine is to be believed, Nayan is demanding Rs 4 crores to sign new films.

So, Tamil distributors are daring to release Babu Bangaram in the neighborhood state, to cash on her popularity. What's more, they are promoting the Maruthi directorial as a female centric film, it seems.

Interim, Babu Bangaram is in last leg of shooting. As we all know, the film which was initially scheduled for release in summer got postponed numerous times, only because of Nayanthara who troubled the makers by not attending shootings on scheduled dates.

Venky is immensely bowled out by this unique storyline

If an old man falls in love with a teenager, it is "Nishabdh". If a newly married man goes head over heels due to circumstances with lady of same age, then it is "Intlo Illalu Vantitlo Priyuralu". If a guy who is having a teenage son falls in love with a teen, then it's "Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya". Still, hero Venkatesh feels that the love story of a middle-aged person having kids is not properly dealt on Telugu cinema screen.

Buzz has that Venkatesh has loved a story narrated by director Chandrasekhar Yeleti, which revolves around a married middle-aged person falling in love with a teenager. Whether this married hero's wife will be alive or not is something we have to see on screen, but Venky is immensely bowled out by this unique storyline and is getting ready to kick start the project, if we have to believe sources.

After scoring decent with "Gopala Gopala", Venkatesh is not rushing to sign any film because he wants to rock the circuits with meaningful films rather sizzling in same commercial patterned movies. Though he has held many discussions with other directors and considered remakes even, this senior hero hasn't concluded anything solid.

Venky's remake formula to be continued!

Victory Venkatesh is always synonymous with remaking hit films in Telugu. After the huge success of Drishyam and Gopala Gopala, he is back with yet another remake of a Malayalam hit.

According to the latest report, Venky is all set to remake the Mamootty starrer Bhaskar the Rascal in Telugu. Reports also reveal that producer Suresh Babu has bought the remake rights and is planning to launch the film soon.

Nanyanthara played the female lead in the film which was a huge hit in Malayalam. Let’s hope that its remake reaps benefits for all those associated with it.

Gopala Gopala as got U certigicate

Due to the sensitive content that takes a shot on god and especially some spiritual leaders of Hinduism, everyone is eagerly waiting to see what will be Censor Report of most awaited multi-starrer 'Gopala Gopala'. Here come some exclusive details.

Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh's latest offing 'Gopala Gopala' finished its Censor formalities today and the flick is likely to get U certificate. Interestingly, Censor Board hasn't found fault with any of the content as they thought that certain scenes in the flick are really thought provoking. On a whole, we are hearing positive reports about Pawan Kalyan's cameo and Venkatesh's stunning comedy timing. As the flick is given 'U' Certificate, everyone could happily enjoy it for Sankranthi eve.

Coming to movie's release date, producer Dil Raju is taking care of the release and confirmed to almost all the distributors that the flick will hit screens on January 10th. Everyone in the business is making arrangements towards it.
