Shah Rukh Khan has been conferred several international honors in his glorious career that no other Indian actor has ever dreamed of. From delivering speeches at reputed universities to being decorated with the highest civilian honors of oter countries, SRK has achieved many glories. The actor however may not have expected that he would one day be humiliated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences aka Oscars' Body.

The Academy has this year issued 774 invitations to new members, the list has a big contingent of Indian actors and filmmakers. The likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and a few more have got official invites but Shah Rukh Khan didn't get one.

''The basic requirement is that a candidate must have demonstrated exceptional achievement in the field of theatrical motion pictures," said the Academy.

When even Deepika Padukone can get invited, aren't SRK's achievements make him eligible to become a member of the Academy? fume his fans on social media.

As per a report, while the Academy sent a record 683 invites last year, it did even better this year by issuing 774 invites.

Good Strategy From Shah Rukh Khan to Reject movie?

After Bajirao Mastani, audiences have huge expectations on Sanjay leela Bansali's next movie.

Everyone is keen to know about his upcoming project 'Padmavati' where it was announced long back with Deepika Padukone as female lead. But later, its casting has been so tough that, many heroes were approached for role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, husband of Padmavati.

Right now, casting of main leads was confirmed with Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Earlier Sanjay's first choice for the lead male was SRK, but the latter's demand of 90 Cr remuneration left no choice to Sanjay, but to look for options. 

As per reports, 'Shah Rukh who is busy with number of projects doubled his fee only to reject the role. Now he is one of the highest paid actors and his demand was too huge for the film and so that didn't happen'

Bansali was literally surprised and out of words, when he heard about the huge remuneration demand, where SRK is being paid 50 crore per project right now and he doubled the same to accept this project. SRK has chosen smart way to reject this project without utter a single word,they say.

It is heard that Shahid Kapoor signed the role for a pay of 10 Cr. 

Kamal Haasan's view against Shah Rukh Khan's detention! Hurt's Badshah fans

If Shah Rukh Khan's detention at the Los Angeles International Airport had outraged his fans, Kamal Haasan's postmortem of the incident hurt them even more.

Kamal thinks that the US authorities were only following the rules and they were not bound to give special treatment to any person, even if it was Shah Rukh Khan. He asked fans of SRK not to overreact at what happened to Shah Rukh Khan. He added that SRK's fans might have been hurt with the incident, but the United States was an injured nation which has the full right and authority to take all the necessary security measures.

'It happened to many celebs including me on several occasions. My name, 'Kamal', sounds like 'Qamal' so many times I'm often mistaken for a Muslim. I had to miss my flight on few occasions. No one apologized me, at least Shah Rukh got apology from Secretary of State,' added the legendary actor.

Although Kamal's statement was logical, fans of SRK argue that Shah Rukh is not a street actor to go unrecognized. 'He is the 2nd richest actor in the world and the US authorities must respect him, argued his fans. 

Shah Rukh Khan surprised Brahmotsavam team

In what is considered as a rarity, two superstars of the two big film industries have met each other and exchanged greetings. Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu on Saturday evening (Sep 19) on the sets of his forthcoming film Brahmotsavam. Apparently, Shah Rukh, who was shooting in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City for Dilwale, took time off from his shooting schedule and met Mahesh Babu, Ms Namrata Shirodkar Ghattamaneni, and the couple's doting daughter Sitara on the sets of Brahmotsavam.

Bollywood Baadshah SRK was shooting for his film Dilwale in Ramoji Film City along with director Rohit Shetty. Since Mahesh's Brahmotsavam too shooting in Ramoji Film City next to Dilwale, SRK turned up on the sets and surprised one and all. "We're bowled over with SRK's sweet gesture of visiting our film's sets. He is cool and down-to-earth. He is so keen on Mahesh's film and asked him about the details," said a source in the know.

SRK spoke to former Miss India Namrata Shirodkar who hails from Bollywood and settled down after tying the knot with Mahesh Babu. The actor spent quality time with Mahesh Family and greeted Gautam specially. "SRK admires kids a lot. He liked Mahesh-Namrata's cute daughter Sitara," added the source.

Our hot and tall 1-Nenokkadine girl is the primary choice of Salman Khan's 'Sultan' that is set for Eid 2016 release. After seeing the spark in her work on Dilwale, even Shahrukh is said to be showing massive interest to cast her in 'Raees'. Surprisingly this SRK starrer is also set for release on the same day 'Sultan' hits cinemas.

He said his love for the southern superstar brought him to the audio release of the magnum opus! Shah Rukh said that he had had the fortune of watching shootings of Rajnikanth before he came to movie. Shah Rukh shared an interesting anecdote he saw many years ago at a shooting spot. At some sets all the unit members were busy and Shah Rukh saw Rajni practicing his mannerisms, of catching a cigarette through his mouth after tossing it up, in front of a huge mirror!

Shah Rukh also said that he has learnt hardworking nature from the senior actor! It’s heartening to see a super star like Shah Rukh having no air to share this feeling with public! Shah Rukh even performed lungi dance in front of the Thalaiva at the audio launch function, and it is known fact that the two actors share an envious love for each other!

Mahesh Babu has arrived and the prince of Tollywood just seems to have usurped the “ONE” (Nenokkadine) position in style. The opening of One Nenokkadine obviously seems to have surpassed all expectations and we have to wait for Monday to know the actual box office collections from the film.

But the first public reaction is mind-blowing and the audience has given a huge thumbs-up for their stars’ film. One Nenokkadine has emerged as an excellent psychological thriller and Mahesh’s stylish attitude, uber cool looks, dance, action sequences and an overall awesome performance is the USP of the film. Of course, we have to make special mention of superb direction and technical excellence that takes the film to a whole new level. Also, we cannot forget to mention Gautam; should we say a star is born? May be too early to conclude but he has all the qualities of a prospective star, definitely promising.

This indeed will be a landmark film in Mahesh’s career and so for the director Sukumar. And if at all one has to pick a glitch in the film it would be the second half, which could have been tweaked a bit, else One Nenokkadine will stand out as the years’ “number one” blockbuster film.

All stars cannot be called as artists and it is a known fact that there are very few artists in Indian film industry. Unfortunately, those who work to make big money are ruling the industry as stars and Shah Rukh Khan occupies the top most position in the list.

For Pongal, fans of Mahesh eagerly wait for his venture while the situation is the same for Dussera. Prince Mahesh Babu's upcoming entertainer One-Nenokkadine is nearing completion. Film under the direction of Sukumar is speeding quickly to give Sankranthi treat in 2014. As such film's final schedule will be held in Mumbai started on yesterday Dec 12.  The Mumbai schedule will be for three days where a special song would be shot on Mahesh Babu and Bollywood hottie Sophie Chaudary. Song will be wrapped up on Dec 15th. Kriti Sannon, Mumbai model is the heroine in the film for which music is tuned by Devi Sri Prasad.  

Mahesh will be seen as a rock star while his son Gautam Krishna will be seen as jr Mahesh in the film. Reels Entertainment banner has produced the film and recently, Eros International bought the film for a whopping amount. The film will release on January 10.

By seeing aamir khans body in the dhoom 3 sharukh khan feels that aamir khan is the finest actor in the bollywood and he inspires him alot with his hardwork. "He is the finest actor the country has. His role in dhoom 3 required that kind of body and he does some trapeze work in the film.for him to work that way is fantastic and inspiring" said sharukh khan in an interview.  "Aamir leads the way and is always inspiration like this not only physically and mentally but with the kind of job and work he does" he said.  When asked sharukh whether he likes to do negative roles he said he love to that type of roles if there is a good story and the only thing is it may not be in 100 or 200 crore club unless and untill they are the powerful stories like Don series. sharukh in the intial stage of his movie life he had done few negative roles in the movies like Darr, Baazigar, Anjaam.

Allu and Cherry together in one song in Yevadu?

Yevadu has been luring us from long time now, but has not seen the light of the day, with curiosity among people about the movie diluting, Dil Raju has come up with a new attraction.

The movie will have a special song a promotional shot on both Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. Dil Raju is hoping this is the only way to beat the competition and to stay in the race and also to keep the buzz about the movie building until its release. This will be the first time the two cousins will be doing dance for a movie together.

With his 1 Nenokkadine movie audio launch happening in a unique way (first time in the Indian cinema) wherein audio launch will be live streamed to theaters and fans can watch it live from their places, Salman Khan too wants to emulate the trend for his next movie Jai Ho (Hindi remake of Stalin).

Jai Ho director, Sohail Khan, Salman’s brother too has appreciated the idea and wanted to go ahead following the new trend. If Mahesh movie costed 250 rupees you can expect Salman to charge somewhere in the 500 range for his movie considering he is the baadshah of Bollywood Box Office. According to latest reports (not official though) it could be December 15th or 16th that could see audio launch of 1 Nneokkadine.

Kriti Sanon is playing Mahesh’s pair girl and she is heard doing a news reporter role in the movie. The Sukumar’s directorial is being presented by 14 Reels Entertainments and the big-budget is touted to be a suspense action thriller.

DSP is the music director for the movie, and it is learnt that he has composed unique tunes for the movie. 1-Nenokkadine movie is slated for Pongal release and we know that the movie has been raking money like anything already, thanks to the gripping Mahesh Mania!
