Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan, who is known for sporting new look for every new film, seems to be sporting a special look for his new film 'Secret Superstar'.

A new pic of Aamir, speculated to be his look from 'Secret Superstar', is going viral on social media. He is seen sporting a handlebar moustache and his costumes create curiosity over what kind of character he is playing in the film.

'Secret Superstar' is the story of a girl, who aspired to become a singer. Aamir will be seen as her mentor and a music director. The shooting of this film commenced from first week of this month. In the past, AR Rahman was working on this movie as music director but due to some differences and continuous delays, he opted out of the project. More details about this film are awaited.

On the other hand, the 51-year-old Khan will be next seen playing a wrestler in 'Dangal', which is set for worldwide release for this Christmas. 

BollyWood's Dream Project is Announced

Two of the biggest actors of this country have teamed up with a super successful director and probably the most respected and successful production house to bring us a film of an epic scale for Diwali 2018.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan will work together for the first time in a Yash Raj Films production venture titled 'Thugs of Hindostan'. Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor, who wrote and directed the then industry hit action film 'Dhoom 3', is the man to set this combo. The film's leading lady is yet to be finalized.

The leading lady of the film will be announced soon. 'Thugs of Hindostan' holds more surprises in its kitty! In fact, the script came to Aamir Khan after it was rejected by Hrithik Roshan as he was not happy with his character. Aamir Khan however had no qualms with it and he green lit it. Said to be a period film set around 1860, the film is based on popular book "Confessions of a Thug". The film will go on floors early next year.

She became terribly slow when it came to taking up new films, but here is the good news. The latest says that the Goan lass is likely to do a film opposite superstar Aamir Khan.

Sources close to Aamir said , Ileana is being considered for the role of leading lady’s in Aamir’s next movie and should all go well for the Goan beauty, then she might start shooting with Aamir. Earlier to a scribe’s question Ileana expressed her love to do movies with the three Khans of Bollywood.

Ileana is currently working with Saif Ali Khan in Happy Ending, and is awaiting release of her rom-com Main Tera Hero opposite Varun Dhawan.

We wonder if there are any makers to rope in Ileana in a Tollywood. Her last was Devudu Chesina Manushulu in 2012 opposite Ravi Teja. Wait for more details on Ileana-Aamir’s movie.

Mahesh Babu’s physiological thriller 1-Nenokkadine is being raved by film critics as a movie made to match the Hollywood standards and although the movie hasn’t been doing an impressive run at the box office it could attract several eyeballs, that of makers and heroes.

The latest one to become fan to 1 Nenokkadine is Aamir Khan and the Bollywood super star is going to step into the shoes of Mahesh’s role in 1 and remake it in Hindi.

That’s right. If the grapevine buzz has to be believed then the film is going to be remade in Hindi and Aamir Khan is already in talks to do it reprising Gautham’s (Mahesh) role. We could expect a little more details on this very soon. Aamir’s previous remake was Ghajini and it became a 100 crore movie.

Mahesh’s movie has been continuing its good run at the overseas box office where it has raked in close to $1.5m.  1 movie was produced by Gopichand and Ram Achanta and Anil Sunkara on 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd banner at 70 crores budget.

Sukumar will not experiment with Jr NTR

Audience that really vote for good cinema will obviously be hurt at the statement of Sukumar. But the director we guess is deeply hurt with the result of Mahesh starrer 1 Nenokkadine that he vouched he will not experiment but continue with rehashing the masala entertainer formula for his next with Jr NTR.

In fact, Aamir Khan who is keen on making 1 Nenokkadine in Hindi and approached Sukumar for directing it in Hindi but Sukumar wanted to stay away from it! He wanted a box office hit not just a hit like 1 to have his morale boosted that he wanted to make an entertainer with Jr NTR and of course with his style of hero characterization.

Whatever, we are missing a trying director who has taken Telugu cinema to a couple of notches higher with his recent psychological thriller with 1.

It is true that Kajal got a short break in getting offers after Samantha and Shruti Hasan has taken over the charge as reigning heroines of Tollywood.  But, she could manage to do a couple of Bollywood movies to bridge the gap.

The latest updates about the damsel is Kajal going to do a Tamil movie with Dhanush. She got good recognition there as her earlier films were super hits. The latest film with Dhanush will be directed by Balaji Mohan.

Already Kajal gave a hint of this news in a chat with a TV channel, which has been confirmed now. As per the grapevine, the producers of the movie have shelled out good sum as remuneration to her.

No limits for Dhoom 3

Yes, Dhoom 3 vroomed at a pace like no other movie did in India and becomes the first movie to enter the 500 crore club.

The highest ever grosser, Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 becomes first movie to go past a figure of 500 crores worldwide. The movie has raked in moolahs of Rs 351.27 crores (gross) in India alone and a net of 270.22 crores.

And the third edition of Dhoom collected approximately $ 25.01 million [Rs 155.86 crores], which makes it a record for all times.  In all the movie grossed 500 crores and puts it way above any other movie (the next best Krrish 3 still languishing at around 300 crores). Main USP of Dhoom 3 was Aamir Khan and he played dual roles as twins with Katrina Kaif doing opposite him. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra were the cops.

It’s not over yet and the movie continues to draw crowds in its third week, we can still give it a waiting to see if this can reach the target of 1000 crores although it appears impossible!

U/A Certificate for ’1-Nenokkadine’ 

The most awaited movie of Prince Mahesh Babu’s, ’1-Nenokkadine, cleared all the censor formalities, which has been given an U/A Certificate by the Board Members. As per the reports, the movie’s run time is less than 2hrs 30 minutes, which indicates that the flick is going to be out-and-out action entertainer loaded with edge of the seat action sequences without any unwanted dragging scenes that one has to bear in movies of normal run time.

Kriti Sanon is playing the female lead to Mahesh with DSP scoring the music, which is rocking in the theatricality trailers particularly the background ones.  Produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta on 14 Reels Entertainment and directed by Sukumar the movie is hitting the screens on 10th of January.

Record Collections of ‘Dhoom-3′

Dhoom -3 is still ruling the roost in India and abroad by collecting gross Rs.501.35 crores worldwide since its release on Dec 20th last year. This action, emotional and adventurous flick crossed 100 crores just on the first day of its release.

Producers of the movie, Yash Raj Films, issued a statement confirming the news “‘Dhoom:3′ continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs.500 crore worldwide,” read the statement.

Starred by Mr.Perfectionist, Amir Khan, Abhishek Bacchan, Katrina and Uday Chopra has grossed Rs.351.29 crores alone in India and in the overseas market it has collected Rs.150.06 crores totaling to Rs.501.35 crores. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is yet to open in international territories like Germany, Peru, Romania, Japan, Russia and Turkey.

Box-office collections of Dhoom-3 movie are steady even during the busy week days.  On Tuesday itself, the film made a handsome total of Rs.20.14 crore nett in India. It is now India’s highest grosser standing at Rs.149.46 crores which includes Tamil and Telugu versions.

Taran Adarsh quoted on twitter, “Dhoom3 India – Tue: Hindi Rs 19.33 cr, Tamil & Telugu Rs 81 lacs. Tue total: Rs 20.14 cr. Grand total: Rs 149.46 cr nett.”

Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, repeated their earlier characters as copy and sidekick while Katrina with her well-toned body added glamour and Amir with his inimitable style of actions are the highlights of the movie.

Amir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra starrer movie released with huge expectations riding on its back.

Released in 4000 theaters the movie has garnered positive from its first show and has been going with house full collections across the country.

The plot of the movie is about a thief who becomes a challenge to Interpol police. Amir Khan has unleashed himself in the role of Sahir. And indeed in the Dhoom series it can be said that Amir’s acting was perfect. And director Vijay Krishna Acharya has been 100% successful in presenting the Dhoom 3 in the most interesting way to the audience.

The love and romance between Amir and Katrina was very neatly shown. Even the action scenes didn’t lose the track and in spite of being a three hour movie the pace of the narration doesn’t make the audience really bored. With hit talk and holiday weekend, the movie is guaranteed to make huge collections. However, makers have targeted a mind blowing 1000 crores but we need to wait some more days to see if this can meet the target!

Is NTR stayed away from attending function at Dil Raju?

Dil Raju’s daughter Hansita got engaged and the event witnessed huge attendance from Tollywood circuits and political circuits.

The absence of Mahesh and Jr NTR was very conspicuous. While Mahesh couldn’t attend the function because of the impending 1 Nenokkadine audio launch, the absence of Jr NTR at the function raised many brows. Incidentally, Dil Raju was producer of his recent movie Ramayya Vastavayya.

So why didn’t he come? It is learnt that NTR intentionally stayed away from the engagement function because he wasn’t too happy with the RV debacle and he attributes the poor performance of the movie to Dil Raju’s interference.

It maybe recalled here that NTR worked for no remuneration but had a partnership deal for the movie and it miserably bombed at the box office.

Recently, Sharukh Khan’s “Chennai Express” too crossed 400 Crores mark and established a new record. Apart from these records, Hritik Roshan raced ahead with “Krish 3” and revised the above mentioned records with 500 Crores box office mark. Now, eyes are all upon Amir Khan again. This actor is now racing ahead with “Dhoom 3”.

This film is expected to collect around 600 Crores at the box office. The recent ticket prices of this flick too is revealing the same. As per the reports, it takes around Rs.4500 for a family to watch this flick in Imax. Similarly, it will take around Rs.400 for a person to watch this flick in the top level theatre. Looks like, watching “Dhoom 3” is going to be a costly affair!

Changed attitude of Samantha

Reigning Tollywood heroine, Samantha, has not changed her stand even a bit regarding her recent tweets on an upcoming star hero movie. It seems there are intentionally aimed at the hero for reasons better known to her.

As per the industry grapevine, Sam could not be accommodated as the leading lady in the hero’s upcoming flick. Being in the industry for quite a long time, Sam darling must be aware that nuance are normal in the industry. With just a couple of hits behind Sam does not mean arrogance drive her to any extent of maligning the image of a star. Samantha says that she wont budge a little in the matter and face the consequences with courage.

Earlier, when rumours on her were making rounds, Sam came out heavily on the media accusing them of not verifying the facts and just going blind. Perhaps, she lost that logic in the present instance.  Heroines may last in her career for may be 10 years if everything goes in her way( luck). Else she have to leave even before that. But for heroes it's not the case. If she stays with this attitude may be she have to pay for such incidences.  Better Samantha mend her ways soon.

Even ace director Rajamouli could not stop appreciating the teaser where Mahesh was seen as a Rock Star.  The audio of the movie is being planned on a grand scale on 19th of this month. Nani's frustrated Answer shocked everybody

The new age Tollywood hero Nani is riding high in his career.  Though a few films under his belt, Nani was able to prove himself as the Gen-X star.  But, the release of his recent film ‘Paisa’ is haunting him.  The movie, directed by Krishna Vamsi, is lying in the cans though the shooting was completed long back ago. He expressed his frustration a bit in the audio release function of ‘Uyyala Jampala’ held on Sunday.

When his turn came to speak a few words, a section of the audience threw a question to him about ‘Paisa’ release. Responding in a lighter vein Nani said “It’s become like my Ranku Mogudu (illegal husband)” and also added “I hope it (Paisa) won’t contend with Uyyala Jampala.’ The audience were shocked with the latter part of the answer and were wondering how he can talk so low of a film in which he is playing the lead role and the statement in a way questions the capability of Krishna Vamsi as a director.

Not sure, what Nani wished to convey through this statement, but the cine folks are eagerly waiting for Vamsi’s reaction to the incident.

Aamir Khan remaking Rudraveena

Though a little bit delayed, momentum is slowly picking up in recognising Tollywood films by Hindi film industry.

Of late, a few recent telugu movies have been remade in Hindi, which have become blockbuster hits there.  Now, Mr.Perfect, Amir Khan, too is interested to remake yesteryear classical movie of Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s ‘Rudraveena’.

Released some 25 years back, ‘Rudraveena’ though not a commercial hit, but got awards and rewards to the director Balachander and hero Chiranjeevi. The same movie was again remade in Tamil with Kamal Hassan.

Now, Amir is interested in the movie for remake and even contacted Balachander who encouraged him for his efforts and advised him to make it as per the contemporary trend.

Prince Mahesh Babu's upcoming entertainer One-Nenokkadine is nearing completion. Film under the direction of Sukumar is speeding quickly to give Sankranthi treat in 2014. As such film's final schedule will be held in Mumbai started on yesterday Dec 12.  The Mumbai schedule will be for three days where a special song would be shot on Mahesh Babu and Bollywood hottie Sophie Chaudary. Song will be wrapped up on Dec 15th. Kriti Sannon, Mumbai model is the heroine in the film for which music is tuned by Devi Sri Prasad.  

Mahesh will be seen as a rock star while his son Gautam Krishna will be seen as jr Mahesh in the film. Reels Entertainment banner has produced the film and recently, Eros International bought the film for a whopping amount. The film will release on January 10.

By seeing aamir khans body in the dhoom 3 sharukh khan feels that aamir khan is the finest actor in the bollywood and he inspires him alot with his hardwork. "He is the finest actor the country has. His role in dhoom 3 required that kind of body and he does some trapeze work in the film.for him to work that way is fantastic and inspiring" said sharukh khan in an interview.  "Aamir leads the way and is always inspiration like this not only physically and mentally but with the kind of job and work he does" he said. In dhoom 3 aamir khan does the negative role, where he is a theif and magician. 

 When asked sharukh whether he likes to do negative roles he said he love to that type of roles if there is a good story and the only thing is it may not be in 100 or 200 crore club unless and untill they are the powerful stories like Don series. sharukh in the intial stage of his movie life he had done few negative roles in the movies like Darr, Baazigar, Anjaam.

Allu and Cherry together in one song in Yevadu?

Yevadu has been luring us from long time now, but has not seen the light of the day, with curiosity among people about the movie diluting, Dil Raju has come up with a new attraction.

The movie will have a special song a promotional shot on both Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. Dil Raju is hoping this is the only way to beat the competition and to stay in the race and also to keep the buzz about the movie building until its release. This will be the first time the two cousins will be doing dance for a movie together.

With the movie release postponed several times, it is quite challenging for the makers to have the interest among fans and audience sustaining. Let us hope this works for Ram Charan, he now needs one good hit for sure!

With cricketer Sachin Tendulkar announcing his retirement from all forms of the game after his 200th test there has been huge responses coming in praising the iconic star and cricketing God of the country. Mr Perfectionist actor Aamir Khan too wants to extend his love for the cricketer in a unique way – celebrate his spectacular innings. He decided to dedicate the title track of Dhoom 3 to none other than the master blaster Sachin.

He said, “Through his entire career he has created `Dhoom` in every step, on every pitch, in every cricketing country, in every bowler`s nightmare, in our hearts, in every cricket field across the world, and in the hearts of every cricket fan across the world. So, very appropriately, we humbly dedicate our song `Dhoom machale` to the genius.”

Tendulkar is scheduled to play the last Test match against the West Indies at his home ground Wankhede Stadium next week (November 14th). The Dhoom 3 title song will be launched then before he starts playing in Mumbai. Dhoom 3, produced by Aditya Chopra, will release Dec 20 and also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif.

Rana’s Kavacham to get Bollywood babe

Tollywood hunk Rana Daggubati is teaming up with Hanu Raghavapudi of Andala Rakshasi fame for another project titled Kavacham.

Latest about Kavacham is that, makers of the movie are hunting B town for a girl to pair with Rana.

Hanu Raghavapudi said, “We are trying to get a B-Town lady on board as the movie is going to be a bilingual one (Hindi and Telugu).” “Talks are on but it won’t be fair to name anyone right now and let us first finalize on a name and then we will make an official announcement.”

Buzz is that actresses Parineeti Chopra, Nargis Fakhri and Shraddha Kapoor are being considered for the role, however, noone signed the dotted lines yet.

Among them Parineeti is the first priority girl we heard. Kavacham will be produced by Daggubatis himself under their Suresh Productions banner.
