Baahubali Fame Kattappa to Romance Amala Paul?

After the mammoth success of 'Baahubali', senior Tamil actor Sathyaraj has become nationwide famous as 'Kattappa'.

He is now being approached to play not just pivotal characters but also lead roles. Satyaharaj has now been signed to play the lead role in a Tamil film, in which he will romance mallu beauty Amala Paul.

Mohanl Lal and Amala Paul starrer Malayalam hit film 'Laila O Laila' is being remade in Tamil and Sathyaraj has been signed to play the lead role. Amala has been signed to essay his leading lady. It is said to be a quirky love story of an aged man and a young woman.

On the other hand, this is an interesting career move by Amala. She is currently acting alongside Dhanush in 'Vada Chennai'. Amala is also rumored to pair with superstar Rajinikanth in a new film.

Director Vijay: With lots of pain in my heart, I have decided to move on!

Director AL Vijay has made it clear that he is willing separation from his celebrity wife Amala Paul. However, he condemned the accusations of his family stopping Amala from work is reason for their decision to part ways.

'I strongly advocate women and their freedom of choice.  When Amala wanted to continue her career in films, I supported her to the best of my ability. And she continued acting even after marriage. The new found accusation that I or my family was stopping her from work is completely untrue,' said Vijay in a statement.

Vijay said his father A L Azhagappan who was distressed on the developments on his family life had expressed his disappointment on the same, blamed Amala's career and new films as a reason to head for split. He said to have feeling bad for his father's statement is being taken as the sole source of all the speculations and debate.

Vijay asserted that he never thought of separation from his wife, not even in his worst dreams. 'But yes, today I don't have any choice. With lots of pain in my heart, I have decided to move on in life in a dignified manner,' stated Vijay requesting media to stop speculations based on stray rumors.

While AL Vijay is busy with his new film Abhinetri which is being made as trilingual in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages, Amala Paul is working for a Tamil film Vada Chennai and a Kannada film Hebbuli.

Speculations are rife that, actress Amala Paul and her director husband AL Vijay have decided to part ways after two years of their marriage. Apparently, all is well between the star couple, pressure and harassment from Vijay's family led them to split.

Reports say that, Vijay's parents harassed Amala Paul insisting her to quit films. In an interview, Vijay's father Alagappan lashed out at Amala Paul saying she had failed to make her promise which she made before marriage. According to him, Amala told them to bid adieu to films after marriage, but she is not stopping signing new films.

Since Vijay's parents were against Amala acting in films after marriage, she decided to take a break from films. Nonetheless, she had to complete shooting for few films that she had committed to do before the marriage. 

Vijay was quite supportive though. Even when there were gossips linking Amala with her co-stars, Vijay didn't let any of that affect their relationship. But his family constantly pressured her with implicating questions about her career and personal life. Since there seemed to be no other solution in sight, they both decided to go in for a divorce, according to the reports.

Amala Paul and AL Vijay collaborated for couple of films such as Nanna and Anna (Thaliavaa in Tamil), before getting married. While Vijay is presently busy with a trilingual film Abhinetri starring Tamannah and Prabhu Deva, Amala Paul is simultaneously working for a Kannada film Hebbuli and a Tamil movie Vada Chennai.

This is no joke or rumour; Amala Paul is very serious and this time there is official news that the hot actress is all set to tie the knot with Kollywood director A.L. Vijay on the 12th of June in Chennai. Looks like the actress is in a hurry to get married and it rarely happens with heroines from the film industry because most of them get hooked with their career and end up marrying very late.

Amala Paul has acted in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films and it is being reported that she will complete all her pending projects before or after the wedding. Dusky beauty Amala Paul has literally made a patient float in sky with her sudden visit to his house. A month back, Amala Paul inaugurated palliative care centre in a hospital in Cochin. This unit deals with relieving mental stress of a patient that arises when their health is affected by any disease. At that time, Amala spoke to couple of patients who have joined to undertake palliative care, and promised them that she will visit their home if they get cured fast and discharge from hospital.

Surprisingly, when one patient got discharged the other day and went back to his home, Amala turned up at his house.
