Actor Vishnu Manchu is spotted dancing with his two little angels Ariaana and Viviana. A video of Vishnu teaching moves to his doting daughters is widely circulated on social media platforms and going by the video Vishnu was at his best and his daughters have outwitted him in the moves. Ariaana and Viviana have stolen the show from their actor-father.

Vishnu, who is a complete family man, often spends quality time with his family and especially with his two little darlings. Even when he is busy with shoots, he makes sure his daughters visit him on the sets.

Earlier Vishnu used to be a strict dad. Now he seems to be losing that tag and becoming more friendly these days as they're growing up, divulged a source close to the family. Ariaana and Viviana are having great time in the Kids section of Newyork Academy (NYA)

Manchu Vishnu, who got a reprieve with the success of his last release 'Aadorakam Eedorakam', has taken his sweet time to finalize his next project. Now, he has okayed not just one but two new projects.

Director Raj Kiran, who made an impressive debut with Anjali starrer horror comedy 'Geethanjali', has reportedly narrated a script to Vishnu and impressed him. The film has been titled 'Luckunnodu'. The cast and crew are currently being finalized at the moment.

Vishnu has also signed another film which will also star his father Mohan Babu in a key role. The project has been titled 'Senapathi', which is one of the rumored titles of Pawan Kalyan's new film in the direction of Dolly. 'Senapathi' is said to be an action entertainer. Shooting of this will start soon. More details about cast and crew will be announced soon.

Vishnu will produce both these films. 

First Look: Eedo Rakam Aado rakam

Here is the first look poster of Vishnu Manchu and Raj Tarun's latest comedy entertainer, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam. Going by the title and looking at the poster, both Vishnu and Raj seem to be playing complete mass roles. 

Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam is an official remake of a Punjabi hit film. The film is a complete mass comedy caper and it has Sonarika Bhadoria and Hebah Patel as the heroines opposite Vishnu and Raj Tarun. Comedy entertainers' specialist G Nageswara Reddy is directing this film and Anil Sunkara produced it.

It takes dare and guts to agree certain things. Manchu Vishnu has it in full. Time and again, he's upright in sharing certain opinions and clearly the mentions what his thoughts are like.

The other day when Manchu Vishnu invited press to talk about the possible release date of his forthcoming flick 'Dynamite', he made some interesting comments. We have written umpteen times in these columns that modern day 'Platinum Disc' functions are fake and a form of false promotion.

Because these days it is tough to sell thousands of CDs and Cassettes (they are already extinct anyway) to celebrate a function for them. Vishnu emulated the same. 'It's tough even for 500 CDs to get sold. These platinum disc functions just happen for promotion, otherwise that is bullshit. It's just hogwash (nonsense)', said Vishnu, at the event.

Meanwhile, his 'Dynamite' directed by Deva Katta is currently under post-production with the film's sound recording being done at a Hollywood studio in Los Angeles. Vishnu avers, 'We will confirm the date either as July 17th or 24th, once we get first copy of the film, maybe within a week'.

Vishnu Manchu's 24 Frames Factory to Team up with Hollywood Production for 'Kannappa Katha'

On the eve of Telugu film industry's most celebrated Legend Mohan Babu's starrer film 'Pedarayudu' which completed 20 years,  24 Frames Factory announced today the launch of a new film in collaboration with a leading Hollywood Production house titled 'Kannappa Katha'. Kannappa role will be portrayed by Manchu Vishnu.

The film to be directed by popular Tanikella Bharani Actor, screen writer, and dialogue writer is scripted to appeal audiences across different languages and region of India.

"Kannappa Katha is a story, which can connect with people all across, and we were excited right from the time we locked the script", Vishnu added.

The scripting of the film is complete and the pre production work has started. 

24 Frames Factory is South Indian film industry fastest growing production house that has produced successful box office movies in rapid succession.

The collaboration with Hollywood production will provide 24 Frames Factory the required insights necessary to produce a film with international standards.

The crew and cast of the 'Kannappa Katha' will be announced soon.

Vishnu Manchu and Catherine Tresa starrer Erra Bus is all set to release on November 14.The film audio was launched yesterday amidst tolywoood celebs.Directed and produced by Dasari Narayana Rao, the movie marks the comeback of Dasari as an actor as he is playing a pivotal role in his 151th directorial.

The trailer of the film released at the event and it looks promising.The quality of visuals and Maachu Vishnu and Catherine tersa presence were the highlights of the trailer.Dasari who known for his tough acting skills once again showcased them from the core and his presence in the film was certainly raising the expectations. Dasari Narayan Rao said Erra Bus redefines the Grandfather and Grandson Genre type of films.

Billed to be remake of Tamil superhit Manjapai, the movie is said to be out-and-out entertainer. While Dasari is essaying the role of grandfather, Vishnu Manchu will be seen as his grandson.

Story

Rowdy was being speculated to be the shadow of Bollywood flick Sarkar, at least the trailer reminds us of the Amitabh Bachchan flick. However, we would like to inform that the basic story is pretty similar to Sarkar if not a remake per se. And we all know Ram Gopal Varma’s fascination for the classic story Godfather. In fact RGV’s Sarkar was totally inspired by Mario Puzo’s Godfather. Well, Rowdy is a story of a faction family that is set at the backdrop of Rayalseema and Mohan Babu is the godfather of the region who dares the law of the land for causes he believes in. Looks like RGV has still not got over the original story, he seriously is in a hangover!

Plot

Anna (Mohan Babu) is the powerful figure in the Rayalseema region rather the rural don, if you could say that. Anna takes on the law to defend in what he believes is righteous. The main story revolves around the Nandavaram project, of which Anna is dead against because he thinks it is against the welfare of the local people. There are a group of people who want to launch this project for their selfish interests and plan to weed out Anna from their way. Whether Anna succeeds in stalling the project or not forms the remaining part of the story.

Performances

Mohan Babu, as Anna is simply perfect and he has delivered a brilliant performance rather his body language, dialogues (of course) and mannerisms deserve a big round of applause. Ram Gopal Varma has got the best out of the veteran actor.

Manchu Vishnu plays the role of Krishna (Mohan Babu’s son on-screen as well) and he has given a good performance that could surprise many and especially his critics. With his performance in Rowdy, Vishnu has elevated to a whole new level as an actor.

Jayasuda is in her usual best and excels in emotional and romantic scenes. On the other hand Shanvi has a done a decent job and looks pleasing. Shanvi is likely to get a couple of offers after this release.

Technicalities

Music by Sai Karthik is good, and especially the background score blends too good with the film’s intriguing scenes. However, Satish Muthyala’s cinematography is nothing really exemplary or unique as we expected. And editing deserves a mention as being too sharp; it could have certainly been much better.

Analysis

There is nothing new or fresh about the story of Rowdy; in many ways it is repetitive rather reminds us of Godfather and of course his earlier venture Sarkar. The stellar performances by the lead actors give Rowdy that extra edge. Also, RGV’s excellent narration set apart the film.

RGV has had a bad phase in the recent past and although his Rowdy is a good film, we cannot conclude that it “he is back”, as yet. However, RGV stills has a strong hold on this genre of films, may be a couple more of films with good content can put the director back on his winning track.

Verdict

Rowdy is for audience who are over and out with massy masala flicks. After watchingRowdy we will realize why the veteran actors are indeed the evergreen super stars. Its nothing different than RGV’s movies and cannot be written off too. It can be watchedfor some change and performances of Mohan Bbu and also its BGM!

Manchu Vishnu: Rowdy action seqences are incredible

It is quite amusing that actors rate their own acts or roles in their films even before therelease. And the actor who seems to be boasting about his histrionics in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Rowdy is none other than the lead actor Manchu Vishnu.

The actor has stated, “This interval sequence is by far one of the best fights I have ever done. Entire credit goes to RGV (Ram Gopal Varma) for capturing great action timing and finely tuned aggression by the two lead actors in the film.”

Vishnu has further declared that ‘the action sequences in the film are the best in Tollywood cinema!’

He in fact said, “By keeping the camera focused firmly on Mohan Babu and my performance for 11 minutes, RGV turned this lavishly budgeted scene as one of its kind incredible action sequences ever made in a Telugu movie.”

Rowdy will be released worldwide with English sub-titles and talking of this Vishnu added, “We would like audience to savour our films that instantly connect with moviegoers irrespective of the language they speak. English subtitles help expandaudience base as worldwide film audience are willing to look beyond language.”

It is almost a decade since Mohan Babu’s son Manchu Vishnu stepped into Tollywood and the actor has been unable to create an unforgettable impact on the minds of the people. However, Manchu Vishnu has two hits to his credit; Denikaina Ready and Dhee. But apart from these two flicks his journey in the industry has not been such a memorable one.

If we take a look at Vishnu’s film list, majority of them belong to comic genre and filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is said to have made the actor realise his strength and advised him to experiment with action-oriented films, as Vishnu sports a terrific body. And as we can clearly see that RGV is not the man of words and has in fact casted Manchu Vishnu in Rowdy, which is his upcoming action-entertainer.

Vishnu’s character in Rowdy is supposedly a serious and powerful character, which is likely to change his on-screen image and it has also been told that the actor’s dad Mohan Babu is extremely impressed with his son’s role in the film.

Now he is teaming up with maverick director Ram Gopal verma which is most likely to bring him fortune. Of course we can not completely believe Ramu as his recent films are more than duds at box office.

Why this Tension tension vishnu

It's we (Gulte) who first broke the news that RGV is going to direct Manchu Vishnu again after present film Rowdy. The latest buzz is that this movie has been tentatively titled as Tension Tension. Title is already getting applause in film circles and said to be on the lines of Kshana Kshanam! This film will be produced by Vishnu's home production- 24 Frames Factory. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalized.

If all goes well, Tension Tension is going onto floors from this week and the principal shooting of the film would take place in the locales of Ameerpet. Varma is simultaneously working on this script and post-production works of Rowdy. So, get ready for Tension Tension!

PPT: Pitch-perfect comedy Timing!

Pandavalu Pandavalu Thummeda (PPT), touted as Manchu clan's multi-starrer, has garnered great buzz ever since it hit the floors. The movie marks the comeback of veteran actor Mohan Babu in a lead role, nearly after a decade. It also showcases Manchu Manoj in a never-before-seen role Mohini (draped in a sari). Director Dasari Narayana Rao donned grease paint after a while for a hilarious cameo. All these aspects created enough hype around the film. Let's sneak into the film to see how far they fetched!

Plot: Crisply, the movie is all about Naidu's (Mohan Babu) family and his five "orphan" sons Pandavalu- Vijju (Vishnu), Ajay (Manoj), Varun Sandesh and (Lucky) Tanish. 

Mohan Babu (Naidu) is a foster, doting father to Manoj, Varun Sandesh and Tanish whereas Raveena is foster, caring mother to Vishnu and Vennela Kishore. With a sudden turn of events, both the two single families club to form a large family. Like any other family, it too goes through its rough phase. Yet, they brushes off their differences soon and gets united. Thanks to Honey (Hansika) who played pivotal role in family's union. Hansika has a troublesome background that pushes her into neck-deep difficulties. How Naidu's family steps in to save the girl (Honey)? What are the hurdles that come in between form the film.

Performances: The film's stellar cast-Mohan Babu, Vishnu, Manoj, Raveena Tandon, Hansika, Pranitha- is the big asset for the film. Of course, their pitch-perfect performances carry of the film totally. For Mohan Babu, Vishnu and Manoj essaying these characters is like a piece of cake. Everyone fit the bill and gave their best performances. After a longtime, one could watch Mohan Babu flexing his muscle and doing a jig. Yes, he enthralls us with his trademark acts and dialogue-delivery.

Vishnu is natural at his acting and does his best. One could watch the most stylish Vishnu as a gambler in the film. Vishnu's chemistry with Hansika worked out well and does magic again. Perhaps, it's a record that Vishnu-Hansika scored three hits in a row. 

Manchu Manoj, who showcases myriad variations in his character, deserve a pat on his back. Especially, his lady getup Mohini steals the show. Manoj, who did it with so ease, bags extra brownie points. Pranitha's glam show, Brahmanandam's humour touch are icing on the cake.

Direction: Director Srivas has hit a jackpot with this out-and-out entertainer. With a good star cast , it's a cake walk for Srivas.

Music: Music by Baba Sehgal, Achu and Keeravani is soothing and easy on ears. Lyrics are equally good.

Technical aspects: Songs, scenes shot against picturesque foreign locales (Bangkok) are visual treat.

Analysis:  After Denikaina Ready and Doosukeltha, Manchu Vishnu has clocked a hat-trick hit. The film is totally engaging and funny. Director and writers tactically got the nerve of Telugu audiences- the film tickles your funny bone to the hilt. After all, that's what common audience expect.

If director could have avoided few cliches, minor editing errors and predictable twists, the movie could have become a classic comedy.

On whole, the movie is a breathe of fresh air with right doses of comedy, sentiment, romance, action. But the only disappointment for Manchu fans is they will sure miss Manchu Lakshmi. Wish, director Srivas should have penned a well-conceive role for Lakshmi. 

Bottom line: The film has all the elements to satiate your hunger. Watching PPT (Pandavalu Pandavalu Tummeda) is treating yourself as it gives you a new experience altogether.

Manchu Vishnu says that there is no wrong in using a 'Padma Sri' title as a prefix before his father's name in the movie titles. For tomorrow's release 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda' too, Mohan Babu's name will be written with a prefix 'Padma Sri' before it, confirmed Vishnu.


Undeterred by the court case lodged against Mohan Babu and him for using 'Padma Sri' title in Denaikaina Ready titles, Vishnu accused that political detractors are trying to make a scene out of this. 'There are many instances where others too used them as prefix in movie titles. As a producer, I got no official guidelines to not use them', said Vishnu. Fuming at BJP leader Indrasena Reddy for dragging his father into a controvery for the sake of political benefits, Vishnu asks, 'Will the use of Padma Sri title boosts ticket sales?'


An adamant Vishnu stressed that Mohan Babu is a Rajya Sabha member in the past and there is no wrong in giving respect to a person like his dad who truly deserves it. There is a point in his argument!

The Manchu’s latest family extravaganza on-screen Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda is hitting the screens worldwide on the 31st of January. And the filmmakers have decided to release the film online too; the PPT movie will be released online in India, US, Australia and Middle East.

Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda features Mohan Babu, Vishnu and Manchu Manoj who will be seen playing the lead heroes of the film. Mohan Babu plays the role of tourist guide and will be seen romancing Raveena Tandon. The other two heroines of the film are Hansika Motwani and Praneeta.

PPT is heavily publicised as family comedy and it also stars Varun Sandesh and Tanish in pivotal roles. We are told that that PPT was partly shot in the beautiful locales of Thailand and some parts were shot in India.
