Pawan Kalyan: 40 Days 40 Crores!

After completing Trivikram's film, Pawan Kalyan will reportedly do a film for Mythri Movie Makers, who are currently bankrolling Ram Charan's "Rangasthalam 1985". As per latest reports, Pawan has recently met the producers and placed a few conditions.
Since Pawan is planning to shift his complete attention to his political campaign as soon as he can, he has reportedly asked producers to commence the film's shooting by November at any cost, wrap it up in three months and release it for Summer 2018. The producers have reportedly assured him to plan accordingly.

Director Santosh Srinivas is currently busy with the pre-production work. Rakul Preet Singh is likely to play the leading lady. Buzz is that Pawan has been paid a record Rs 40 crore remuneration, and he has to allot just 40 days of call sheets. The film is said to be an action entertainer with an underlying social message.

Buzz is that Pawan will not sign anymore films after this project, at least until the completion of next Assembly elections.

Pawan Lost His Cool And Warns Comedian To Stay In His Limits!

According to grapevine, Pawan Kalyan has breathed fire on comedian on the sets of Pawan-Trivikram movie. Buzz is that Pawan has lost cool after the comedian allegedly cracked a joke on the actor's political party - Janasena. The comedian was also part of Trivikram's previous film A..Aa. Pawan apparently took the comedian's comments to his heart as he is putting a lot of sweat and blood in building his own political party against all the odds.

As per the sources, Pawan lost his temper. He said to have warned the comedian to 'stay in limits'. He even told him never to repeat such acts on the sets. This has become the talking point in industry circles. Neither Pawan's team nor comedian is available to clarify on the rumour.
Earlier, during the shooting of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Pawan had reportedly slapped comedian Shakalaka Shankar for his comments on the film's director on the sets. However, the comedian later clarified that it was just a 'rumour' and Pawan didn't beat him. He further added that Pawan Kalyan was his 'God'.

The unit of PK 25, which is currently shooting in Hyderabad in a huge set erected with Rs 5 Crore, will fly to Europe on July 19 for a 20-day schedule. Pawan who will be seen as a software engineer in this untitled film, is romancing with his female leads Keerthy Suresh, Anu Emmanuel.

Pawan Kalyan is the King in Trade Circuits!

The pre-release business of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas' untitled film is shattering the trade records. Taking many by surprise, the film is  said to be clocking over Rs 150 Crore even before its release. This is second highest for a Telugu film only after Baahubali 2 and third highest South Indian film (First being Baahubali 2 and Second being Kabali).

If buzz is to be believed, the Telugu theatrical rights (all India) is estimated to fetch Rs 115 Crore. This is a staggering amount. The Satellite rights / digital rights of Telugu, music rights, Overseas theatrical rights and Satellite rights of Hindi film together expected to get an additional 40 Crore plus.

The Attarintiki Daredi combination of Trivikram, Pawan Kalyan, Devi Sri Prasad is said to be what working in favour of the film. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel are romancing Pawan in this family entertainer. Pawan will be seen as a software engineer.

Even as last two films of Pawan (Sardaar Gabbar Singh & Katamarayudu) failed to meet the expectations, it has no effect on Pawan's forthcoming film PK25. Once again, Pawan Kalyan is proving to be an undisputed King in trade circuits.

Another Non-Baahubali record set by Pawan Kalayan

Pawan Kalyan may not have scored a hit after Attharintiki Daredi (2013) but this has never reflected on the business of his films. In fact, his films have been steadily raising the bar of Telugu films' pre-release business.

After creating several non-Baahubali records with 'Sardaar', Pawan's upcoming film in the direction of Trivikarm is setting up non-Baahubali 2 records with its humongous pre-release business. Rights of all areas are being sold for phenomenal prices.

As per the latest reports, The Ceded rights of #PK25 have been sold for a non-Baahubali 2 record sum of Rs 16 crore. There is no need to give an example of Pawan's fan following among mass audiences, and Ceded being a mass area, producer of #PK25 has made the most out of Ceded area rights.

Pawan's stardom coupled with Trivikram's brand value is giving confidence for buyers to bet huge on this film despite there is no clarity on the film's release date (an off-season release, most likely).

RGV Describes Biggies With One Word !

In a recent interview, controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma has described some of the biggest names in film industry and politics in one word. While his answer may please fans of some, others may get annoyed, and most others may get confused with his enigmatic answers.

Below is how he had described the actors and politicians.

Prabhas: 'Sexiest Power'

Rajamouli: 'Messiah of films'

Jr NTR: 'Befitting Sr NTR'

Nagarjuna: Love

Chiranjeevi: Star Mega

Ram Charan: Dheerudaina Magaadu

He seems to have just reversed 'Mega Star' and 'Maga Dheera' titles.

Naga Babu: Lovely Brother (quite unexpected answer)

Allu Arjun : Dangerous Rabbit

The most enigmatic and RGV-mark answer was witnessed in the case of Allu Arjun. Amidst the turmoil over 'Bunny vs Pawan Fans', the hullabaloo regarding Bunny trying to take over 'Megastar' title etc. RGV's remark against Bunny may have a deeper meaning.

Time for some politicians...RGV has mysterious and sarcastic answers...

Chandrababu Naidu: Navvuleni Nayakudu (The Leader who doesn't Smile)

Jagan: Sannani Inumu (Thin Iron)

Pawan Kalyan as Politician: Wait and Watch

Will Dil Raju Use Golden Chance Given By Pawan Kalyan?

From a long time, ace producer Dil Raju is expressing his dream, the only big one, that he should make a film with Pawan Kalyan at least once. Since the times of Toliprema, Dil Raju distributed almost all the films of Powerstar but never got a chance to produce his movie.

Earlier many times Dil Raju stated that Pawan Kalyan promised a film to him, but that never materialised. As rumours are coming out that the Janasena president will stop working on films after another one, a worried Raju rushed to the sets of Trivikram's movie to catch up with Powerstar.

"Recently I've met him on Trivikram's movie set. Pawan Kalyan told me, 'Come up with a script, that's it. If the story is suitable then I've no qualms to start a project in your production'. So I'm looking forward to directors and also stories, which suite Pawan" said Dil Raju, talking about his film with the matinee idol.

Though the producer of National Award winning Satamanam Bhavati got such promise from Pawan Kalyan many times, we hear that the actor is not liking the stories submitted by this star producer for reasons unknown. While Dil Raju is the master of churning out family dramas, somehow he's missing the secret ingredient that could impress Pawan. Guess he finds that out soon.

With Pawan's Sweet Gesture, Fans Gone Crazy!

The shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s new film is currently on in Sarathi Studios, Hyderabad. Fans have thronged the studios in huge numbers and have been waiting patiently just to have a glimpse of the power star.
Pawan Kalyan, on his behalf, is obliging the fans and has been greeting them daily. But earlier today, when he found out that some of his fans were sitting on the parapet wall of the studios for several hours, he immediately arranged water bottles for them.
This gesture of Pawan’s made his go, even more, crazier for him. More than the star, Pawan has more fans only because of simple and down to earth nature.
Trivikram is directing this film which has Anu Emanuel and Keerthy Suresh as female leads.

Crazy Combination: Pawan Kalyan - V V Vinayak movie to start from ?

Comedian turned producer of high budget movies, Bandla Ganesh is one of the luckiest filmmakers to have got the opportunity of making two back to back films with Pawan Kalyan. The self-proclaimed devotee of Pawan is now reportedly planning another film with Pawan and the director is VV Vinayak.

In his 15 year long career, VV Vinayak has time and again tried to get the nod of Pawan Kalyan but the project never materialized. Now, Bandla has reportedly initiated discussions with Vinayak and Pawan for a powerful mass entertainer with an underlying message for society.

Pawan has already committed for two movies. After Trivikram's project, he will act in Tamil director Neeson's direction for the rumored remake of 'Vedhalam'. We will be in 2018 by the time he completes both these films. Later, the Jana Sena founder will be fully immersed in political campaign in view of 2019 assembly elections.

Bandla and Vinayak's plan is to prepare a message-oriented mass subject, on the lines of Megastar's 'Tagore', by early 2018 keeping Pawan's filmy and political image in mind. The story will be laced with Pawan's ideologies it is heard.

The target is to release the film for Sankranthi 2019, just 2-3 months ahead of Assembly elections. Bandla is aiming to satisfy the mass fan base of Pawan and also take his political image to new heights. If the message is well received by people and the film becomes a hit, it will surely help Pawan and his party in elections.

It may be recalled that NTR Sr has also done message oriented commercial movies right before he plunged into politics. Can Pawan recreate the unbelievable feat pulled off by the late legend?

Kill Piracy before it kills Katamarayudu and whole film industry

Pawan Kalyan's latest release Katamarayudu already has a tough road ahead at box office amidst unfavorable response from audiences. Now, it is heard that piracy has become another big threat for this routine entertainer.

Some excited fans shared a few clips of the movie on social media sites on the first day itself. If that was not enough, a good quality print of the full movie has now reportedly surfaced on piracy sites.

After a solid opening, Katamarayudu has posted decent numbers on Saturday and Sunday. History has proved that Pawan Kalyan's films can sustain at box office for at least two weeks irrespective of other factors like reviews, promotions etc. However, piracy is one typical menace which can kill almost any film.

As a good quality print has reportedly surfaced on piracy sites, the impact was clearly seen especially at overseas box office. People of this generation might prefer to watch a reasonably good pirated print on internet over going all the way to theatres, especially when the film received mixed response.

If not Pawan, at least makers of Katamarayudu should appeal to fans and movie lovers not to encourage piracy and watch the film only in theatres. This initiation will surely encourage fans of Pawan to actively report the piracy links so that they can be blocked. This can essentially alleviate the damage.

Its high time film fraternity acted severe against piracy mafia. If a Pawan starrer can't escape from piracy, imagine the damage being done to small films.

Selfie Talk: Pawan Kalyan and KTR

Pawan Kalyan's Katamarayudu, which was released on 24th March, gets an unusual viewer in the form of KTR, Telangana Minister for IT. In what can be called as an rare meeting, the two young and popular leaders sat down on a Sunday afternoon to watch the film.

After watching the film, the minister took to Twitter, 'Watched Katamarayudu. You sure have a winner Kalyan & Sharrath Marar. Appreciate the subtle but strong promotion of Handlooms.'

It can be clearly recalled that Jana Sena chief, during the campaign for 2014 polls, attacked TRS party and their leader KCR many a times in Telangana.

Through the film, Pawan Kalyan promoted handloom clothes and he's also voluntarily come forward to be brand ambassador for Handloom in both the states.

Review : Katamarayudu

Cast : Pawan Kalyan, Shruti Haasan
Director : Kishore Kumar Pardasani(Dolly)
Producer : Sharrath Marar
Music Director : Anup Rubens
Release Date: 24/03/2017

Whenever there is a Pawan Kalyan film coming up, there is a massive buzz all over. After the debacle of Sardaar, Pawan Kalyan is now back with Katamarayudu which has hit the screens all over today. Let’s see how it is.

Story:-

Rayudu(Pawan Kalyan) and his four brothers live a happy life in their village. A strict and serious Rayudu does not marry as he feels that if a girl enters his family, there would be problems between him and his brothers.
On the other hand, all his four brothers are in love and want to get married soon. Knowing that in order for them to get married, they will have to convince Rayudu to marry first as he is the elder one. All of them get together, and make a plan and contact Avanti(Shruthi Haasan) to somehow woo their brother.
When things seem to be going fine, Shruthi Haasan’s family is suddenly targeted by Bhanu(Tarun Arora). Who is this Bhanu? What relation does he have to do with Avanti’s family? How does Rayudu save everyone? That forms the rest of the story.

Pros:-

Pawan Kalyan is undoubtedly the biggest attraction of Katamarayudu. He perfectly suits the elder brother’s character and carries the entire film on his shoulders. Right from Pawan’s traditional look to his classy dialogues, the star hero does full justice and impresses in an author backed role.
Shruthi Haasan is perfectly cast as Pawan’s love interest and all her romantic scenes with him are hugely entertaining. The first half has some decent comedy, romance and slick action sequences making the proceedings quite interesting.
Pawan’s chemistry with all his brothers is also very good. Shiva Balaji and others do their supporting roles quite well. Ali is good with his comedy during the first half.

Cons:-

The interval bang is just about okay and does not have much depth. The story of the film is quite routine and has some predictable scenes throughout the film. Things get disappointing during the second half as too many fights and dull emotions disappoint things a bit.
Anup Ruben’s music is the biggest disappointment for the film as none of his songs impress one bit and even come as speed breakers in the second half. There are not many twists during the second half as the film becomes quite slow during this time.
In spite of doing a superb job, Rao Ramesh’s role has been wasted in the film. The second half has no proper conflict of interest between the hero and villain as Tarun Arora looks pretty weak in front of Pawan’s star status.

Technical Aspects:-

Production values of the film are pretty good as Sharad Marar has spent decent money which shows on screen. The camerawork is top notch as the village visuals and Pawan Kalyan are showcased supremely well. Editing is below average as at least two fights in the second half could have been trimmed down. Dialogues are good and suit Pawan’s body language quite well.
Coming to the director Dolly, he has done a decent job with the film. After filling the first half with some very entertaining moments, he disappoints during the second half. His screenplay takes a beating during this time as the proceedings are filled with only stylish action sequences. Had he brought a bit more depth in the family emotions, things would have been even better.

Conclusion:-
On the whole, Katamarayudu is a treat for all Pawan Kalyan fans. The star hero’s emotional performance, traditional look and superb fun during the first half are huge assets for the film. Katamarayudu is bound to do well among the masses but we need to see how film does in the overseas. If you ignore the routine story line and a slightly dull second half, Katamarayudu is one film which ends up as a decent watch this summer.

NTR Needs To Improve His Market Expansion

Young tiger NTR Jr is one of the Top actors of tollywood. Despite losing the plot and falling behind from his peers in the box office race for a few years, the actor has recently zoomed back into Top 3 with the gigantic success of 'Janatha Garage'. Even though NTR has successfully joined shoulders with his peers at box office, he still seems to be lagging in the race of market expansion.

Mahesh Babu is eyeing at a haul of Tamil market with his next film being directed by AR Murugadoss, who is the second most popular director of Tamil cinema after Shankar. Stylish star Allu Arjun has also announced his direct Tamil film with mass Tamil director Lingusamy, who has good number of hits under his belt.

Prabhas has already become a notable face in kollywood with Baahubali. With the second part, his stardom is expected to further flourish. Ram Charan is noted to Tamil audiences with 'Magadheera' and he already is in discussions with maverick Tamil directors like Mani Ratnam and Gautham Menon for possible collaborations. Pawan Kalyan is excluded from this discussion as his concentration has already shifted from cinema to politics.

NTR is the only top league Telugu actor who is yet to plan a direct Tamil film. Looking at the line-up of his directors, NTR doesn't seem to be having any plans for kollywood.

After Shruti, Is It Pawan's Turn?

Right after the completion of 'Premam' audio launch event, film's lead actress Shruti Haasan left for London. This act is now being seen as tit for tat to Pawan Kalyan.

Shruthi Haasan, who has been roped in to play the female lead of Pawan Kalyan in 'Katama Rayudu', has actually allotted her dates for the film's shoot from September 1st week. However, as Pawan was busy with his political endeavors, she been asked to wait for indefinite period.

The regular shoot of 'Katama Rayudu' has started the other day and Pawan is expected to start shooting from 24th. As Pawan is now ready for shoot, Shruti has left for London to take part in the shooting of few songs of Suriya starrer 'Singham 3'. Now, Pawan has to wait patiently until Shruti comes back.

Meanwhile, the unit of 'Katama Rayudu' has planned to shoot Pawan's scenes with other actors. Even after her return, Shruti is expected to take part in the shoot of her dad's 'Sabash Naidu'. So, the makers of Katama Rayudu have to undertake the ominous task of managing the dates of both Pawan and Shruti and finish their scenes without any hassle.

Pawan Went to Bengaluru to prepare his looks?

After conducting two public meetings- one in Tirupati and the other in Kakinada, power star Pawan Kalyan is back to work. The Jana Sena Party chief and actor is in Bengaluru to prepare for his look and also to finalize schedule of his next film Katamarayudu to be directed by Dolly.

It is a usual thing that, Pawan Kalyan goes Bengaluru to prepare himself for his look, before starting shoot of his new films. While the film's shoot starts from 20th of this month, Pawan will join the unit from 24th.

It is heard that, Pawan Kalyan has allotted bulk call sheets and has told his production unit to wrap up the film at brisk pace. The 'Gabbar Singh' star wants his film to be completed by December, so he can start Trivikram's film early in 2017.

Katamarayuda shooting was supposed to commence some time ago, but it got delayed owing to the political meetings. The actor announced not to conduct any public meetings in near future.

So, Pawan Kalyan is not making any new steps in politics for now. He is also writing his second book 'Nenu Manam Janam' in the meantime as is his next assignment.

Nani : I am MILLIONAIRE now

Natural star Nani is emerging as most reliable hero in Tollywood with good success rate than any of his contemporary actors. He has good market value than few top stars when it comes to overseas business. Now, Nani has become a millionaire.

Of course, Nani might already be a millionaire with remunerations he is charging for his films. In fact, whatever he is charging is a worth price, because of the minimum guarantee tag Nani is carrying.

However, Nani has become 'true millionaire', having million followers in social network site Twitter. In fact, Nani followers count is higher than top stars like Pawan Kalyan, NTR and Allu Arjun.

While the Tollywood's biggest star Pawan Kalyan has 962K followers, Allu Arjun and NTR has 917K and 650K followers respectively. Superstar Mahesh Babu is the highest following male star in Telugu with 2.45M followers.

Thanking his followers, Nani tweeted saying, "I am a MILLIONAIRE now Thank you my Twitter family. Love, Nani."

Basking on four consecutive hits, Nani is waiting for release of Majnu set to grace theaters on September 23rd. Directed by Virinchi Varma, the film has Anu Emmanuel and Priya Shri in female lead roles.

Congrats Nani for million followers and all the best for Majnu!

Will He Accept Boyapati Srinu?

Dasari Narayana Rao's quest for director to helm his upcoming project with Pawan Kalyan seems to have reached an end. For the veteran, the task has been far from easy to pick someone who can match Pawan's potential.

According to Film Nagar folks, star director  Boyapati Srinu will direct the film and it is not clear as the official announcement is yet to be made. After Simha, Legend and Sarrainodu, Boyapati has made it to the top league of filmmakers and that's the reason why Dasari is pitching for him.

But that's not all - for Boyapati to get on board, Pawan Kalyan approval is must. Let's wait and see how things will make up for Legend maker.

On other hand, Pawan is busy shaping his political career and his filmy fans are worried that they'd miss him onscreen. However, as we move closer to 2019 general polls, we will see more number of Pawan Kalyan films. Katamatayudu with Dolly and an untitled film Trivikram are currently underway.

The Reason Why Pawan Kalyan is No 1 in South India

Actor-and-politician Pawan Kalyan is unarguably a true epitome of craze and following in South India, standing next to Superstar Rajinikanth. It would take a very narration to brief about his star power as everyone down south known how big he has grown up over the years.

On September 2nd, the actor turned 46. Needless to say how a star hero birthday is celebrated across social media - trending in top 10 for them is quite easy on that day, all thanks to fans.

But, the fans of Pawan Kalyan has made something unique this time. According to his social media fans, 565K+ tweets were floated on Twitter with #HBDPawanKalyan hashtag for 24 hours and this is considered as top tag for any hero in South India.

Earlier this record was with Kollywood actor Ajith Kumar (430K+ on his birthday). However, the numbers we compiled here are taken from Twitter.

Janatha Garage Surpassed Baahubali?

Young Tiger NTR's Janatha Garage has taken the worldwide box-office by storm. On its opening day, the film braved the mixed reviews and average word of mouth and smashed several existing box-office records set by Baahubali and Sardaar Gabbar Singh and is poised to stand at second or third ranks in the list of Tollywood's all-time highest openers.

Janatha Garage toppled the previous records in as many as four strong areas. The movie overtook Baahubali and Sardaar in East Godavari (Rs. 2,28,04,588), Guntur (Rs. 2,58,34,975), Krishna (Rs. 1,54,12,857) and Uttarandhra (Rs. 2,29,94,000) to claim the number one position.

Janatha Garage continued to storm other territories like West Godavari (Rs. 1,84,38,400) and Nellore (Rs. 89,35,552) where the film came a close second and third after Baahubali and Sardaar. In Nizam and Ceded, Janatha Garage surpassed Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar and stood next to Baahubali.

Meanwhile in the US, Janatha Garage showcased NTR's stamina by bagging the third spot with $561K from the premiere shows, next only to Baahubali ($1.39 million) and Sardaar ($615K) and that too with its tickets priced at $20 whereas it was $25 per ticket for Sardaar and Baahubali.

First Look: Pawan Kalyan's "Katamarayudu"

The long wait is over. The first look poster of Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming film Katamarayudu has been unveiled on Sep 2, Friday on the eve of the star's birthday. Named after popular folk song in Attarintiki Daredi, Pawan's close aide and film's producer Sharrath Marar has launched the film's first look poster marking love for Pawan.

Touted to be a love story of a faction leader, Katamarayudu, Pawan is seen sporting a stubble mustache whereas he was last seen wearing a Khaki in his last film Sardaar Gabbar Singh in which he was seen as a cop. Kishore Pardasani alias Dolly who directed Pawan in Gopala Gopala, has teamed up with Pawan again for Katamarayudu. Interestingly, Pawan has mostly retained the technicians of Sardaar for Katamarayudu. Action choreographers duo Ram-Laxman will compose the fight scenes whereas editing will have Gowtham Raju and Brahma Kadali as the art director. However, Anup Rubens has replaced Devi Sri Prasad in the music and Attarintiki Daredi cinematographer Prasad Murella cranks the camera.

Pawan's fans are indeed celebrating the poster release of Katamarayudu. Definitely, Power Star's fans can't get a better gift than this from Sharrath.

Happy BirthDay Power Star Pawan Kalyan
