NTR-Boyapati Srinu New Movie?
Young Tiger Jr NTR is riding high with blockbuster success of Janatha Garage hasn't officially confirmed about his next film, although directors like Puri Jagannadh and Lingusamy are in race. Besides these, another director is preparing a mass subject for NTR.
Mass director Boyapati Srinu who delivered a super hit with his last movie Sarainodu is said to be working on a powerful hero centric story for NTR. The director previously made a flop movie with NTR is currently directing a film with Bellamkonda Srinivas.
Known for making 'oora mass' films, Boyapati is working on two scripts. He wished to make a film with Balakrishna, but this may not happen in near future with the actor giving his 101st film responsibility to Krishna Vamsi.
While some reports stated that Boyapati would direct Chiranjeevi's 151st film, others speculated that Dasari Narayana Rao is planning to bring the director to make a film with Pawan Kalyan. Now, latest reports suggest, Boyapati is preparing story for NTR.
Boyapati hasn't narrated story to NTR who will surely give green signal if script convinces him. If all goes well, this movie will start rolling sometime next year.

Will He Accept Boyapati Srinu?
Dasari Narayana Rao's quest for director to helm his upcoming project with Pawan Kalyan seems to have reached an end. For the veteran, the task has been far from easy to pick someone who can match Pawan's potential.
According to Film Nagar folks, star director Boyapati Srinu will direct the film and it is not clear as the official announcement is yet to be made. After Simha, Legend and Sarrainodu, Boyapati has made it to the top league of filmmakers and that's the reason why Dasari is pitching for him.
But that's not all - for Boyapati to get on board, Pawan Kalyan approval is must. Let's wait and see how things will make up for Legend maker.
On other hand, Pawan is busy shaping his political career and his filmy fans are worried that they'd miss him onscreen. However, as we move closer to 2019 general polls, we will see more number of Pawan Kalyan films. Katamatayudu with Dolly and an untitled film Trivikram are currently underway.

Bunny's Desire Costing Producers?
Stylish star Allu Arjun, after enjoying the super success of 'Sarrainodu' is back to work on his upcoming film 'Duvvada Jagannadham'. If we look at few previous films of Bunny, he worked with a new cinematographer every time.
After working with a renowned DOP like Amol Rathod in 'Iddarammailatho', he worked with Manoj Paramahamsa who worked for films like 'Ye Maya Chesave' and 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu' in 'Race Gurram'. Recently, after teaming with famous cinematographer like Prasad Murella for 'S/o Satyamurthy', he brought in Rishi Punjabi for 'Sarrainodu'. Rishi Punjabi charged one lakh per day and the makers of 'Sarrainodu' have to pay a hefty check for him. Now it is the turn of 'Duvvada Jagannadham'.
This time Bunny roped in Aayanka Bose for 'DJ'. He is a very popular Bollywood cinematographer and had worked for noted films like 'Dishoom', 'Kick', 'Kites' and many others. So, we need to see how much does Bunny's desire cost Dil Raju.

Sarrainodu's sarraina punch for critics!
The blockbuster success of Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Boyapati Sreenivas' summer mass masala treat, Sarrainodu, is a huge surprise to fans and trade circles. Produced by Allu Aravind, Sarrainodu released in April to utterly poor reviews and terrible word of mouth.
Critics and audiences panned the film's routine and lackluster content and people even wondered if the high dosage of action elements will prove detrimental to the film being discarded by family audiences.
However, the film braved the mixed talk, utilised the summer advantage to the fullest and even gave a 'Sarraina' punch to critics by collecting more than 75 crores worldwide share, becoming the 4th highest earner in Tollywood's history. The film set non-Baahubali records in entire AP, Vizag, West Godavari and Kerala.

DSP snapped the mike from him
Although it
happened like a lighter vein incident, every single comment made by music
composer Devi Sri Prasad simply shattered director Boyapati Sreenu's mind for
sure. Both DSP and Boyapati are a successful combo that delivered hits like
Bhadra and Tulasi in the past and Legend now. But what exactly transpired
between them?
Speaking at Legend success meet, Boyapati has actually slipped tongue if we have to believe. He stated, "I made Devi Sri sit perfectly for 14 days for re-recording without moving way. Also DSP never attends pre-mix and final-mix recording sessions, but for Legend we made sure he is there". And before Boyapati could actually continue from there, DSP snapped the mike from him in a moment claiming that "Sir, you're giving wrong information."
Reacting heavily on what directors like Boyapati and others claim that they have extracted brilliant output from DSP, the young composer said, " We are not cows for someone to extract milk. I compose a tune in the way I get, and directors will either select it or reject it. If they reject it, I respect their opinion and will compose another one." Stressing on the way he works, DSP says, " Cinema is my passion and music is first love. There is no need for someone to motivate me to work for days and nights. If I commit for a project, I'll definitely work like a factory. No need of any force on me, as I know what my job is." Reacting sharply all the time, DSP still made a point that he is talking positively and want everyone to understand in same spirit about his hard work.
At the end, Boyapati tried to pacify DSP by saying that even he is also talking about the music director's hard work only. But damage is done and message is passed already. Surprising is this, as these talks happened in front of Balayya, Jagapathi Babu and the whole of Telugu media.

churning gold at the box-office. The film is also doing well at the overseas

for a record price of Rs 6 crores. The customized bike used by Balakrishna in
the movie will be auctioned and the moneyobtained will be used by
Basavatarakan Cancer Hospital for cancer research!

The film’s success is mainly due to its content and excellent
performances by the lead the actors and Legend is already been declared as
the year’s biggest blockbuster films.
Mokshagna debut by Boyapati
Director Boyapati Srinu
has delivered two successive hits films and post the super success of Legend
featuring Balayaa the filmmaker is hailed as the Nandamuri’s personal director.
The latest buzz in filmnagar is that Boyapati is given the responsibility of
launching Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna. In fact, there were reports earlier that
Mokshagna will make his debut in Legend as younger Balayya, however considering
the inauspicious time for him to enter films the Nandamuri’s decided otherwise.
It is also being said that Balayya wanted an out-and-out hero launch for his
son and thus dropped the idea of introducing him in a brief
role in Legend.
There is also news that Mokshagna is getting trained in
dance, action and diction to have perfect hero launch. And the Nandamuri family
has put their son’s future in Tollywood in the safe hands of Boyapati
Srinu.
We also hear that
Mokshagna and Boyapati Srinu share a terrific rapport, which will make it
easier for the two when they actually work together.

Good home work by Cherry
The success of Balayya’s latest flick Legend seems to have no
bounds and is on the verge of creating a record at the box-office. Obviously
the entire team of Legend is in a festive mood; they certainly will be partying all night and day.
The actor who wants to join this party is none
other than Ram Charan. As we all know that the actor will be acting in Legend
director Boyapati Srinu’s next film. And it is being told
that Charan cannot wait to watch the film that has been hailed as the years’
blockbuster.
The filmmakers are
arranging for a special screening of the film for Charan and the other members
from the Mega family.
Looks like Charan wants to observe and analyse the style of a
Boypati Srinu film while watching Legend before beginning to
work with him. Good home work we must say!
Success secret of Legend!
Legend Telugu movie starred Nandauri Balakrishna was released
last Friday and is going great guns at the box office like never
before. Till Thursday night show, almost all distributors are telling the same
thing that theaters are full. The collections are roaring and if the same speed continues in
the second weak, trade circles are making sure it will cross 50 cr for
sure.
What are the main reasons behind Legend’s success?
1st among all is
Balakrishna’s top notch performance that no one witnessed before. It looked
like he put some additional efforts for this movie for various reasons and it
really paid off.
Boyapati Srinu’s
direction. Though the genre is similar to Boyapati’s previous films, this time
Boyapati made sure he has maintained comedy, Sentiment & mass elementsin
the equal proportions. In his previous film Dammu though the direction, story
and every thing is good, over dose of fights and less comedy spoiled it. This
time he rectified all and hence the result.
Last but not least is
Producers of the film. The lavishness can be seen in every frame of the
film. It does not mean simply by poring money quality will not come.
But the money is spend in the right way and richness is visible to
the audience.
Over all with all the elements in
the right proportion, Legend is made every movie lover happy and gave a
Legendary success to Tollywood in 2014 so far.

Why cann't he tap other heroes?
Director
Boyapati Sreenu has in a way accredited failures of all Balakrishna's recent
offerings to directors of those films. Basking in the glory of Legend's
success, Boyapati revealed that his hero is director's actor and needs to be
used in right way to get silver screen blasted.
Sharing his happiness over success of 'Legend', Boyapati praised Nandamuri hero to the core, saying that once Balayya starts acting in the sets, he is unstoppable. 'There is this ferocious acting in him, which we need to just tap it. Once we do that, he will deliver whatever you want and makes the scene a treat to watch', said Boyapati, giving claps and whistles to his Legend's performances. He stated that though a story is pretty average, Balayya's presence will give mileage and directors should use it.
The same applies to Boyapati Sreenu who made a master flop 'Dammu' with NTR, and he should look even his next project Charan with the same angle. Like the way he tapped Balayya, even he should tap other heroes too. Otherwise his 'tap' will run out of water.

Top directer to direct Cherry
Cherry in Boyapati Srinu’s next
Boyapati Srinu is riding

Boyapati srinu revealed a interesting story about Dil Raju
Dil Raju’s true colors revealed by Boyapati Srinu
In fact
this story(real story) revealed the dark sides of so many
greedy producers in Film Industry. In the recent TV
interview director Boyapati Srinu has revealed this interesting story that he
encountered when he made his debut movie with Dil Raju.
Boyapati’s
first movie Badra was made under Dil Raju’s production house and he was offered
a remuneration of 5 lakhs. But in the agreement it is mentioned that the
original writes of the story still remains to the writer i.e Boyapati.
Which means, if Dil Raju wants to sell the dubbing rights or remake rights, he
needs Boyapati’s signature and must give 50% of the amount to him.
But apparently Dil Raju sold with out his knowledge.
After
knowing this news, When Boyapati called Dil Raju and asked about this, he
simply asked one question in return. “When you first approached me to produce
your debut movie and if I had asked 5 lakhs remuneration includes original
rights of the movie then what would have been your answer?
”
Boyapati simply said, yes sir! I would have agreed..

Boyapati Srinu's 's Legend movie success secret
Leading
director Boyapati Srinu defied many logiical points (even die-hard Nandamuri
fans couldn't ignore) but has won overwhelming apperciation at the box office
for his action adventure 'Legend', so it raises the moot question- what is the
barometer for success-box office collections or logic-driven and novel script.
With new-age audience becoming demanding and patronising films that have novelty and logic, directors are breaking their heads to come up with new themes, but Boyapti rubbishes this myth and delivers a routine revenge drama with overdose of action riding on the larger-than-life image of Balakrkishna.
Director just rehashes Simha and just changes father-son story into brothers in his latest and shows Jagapathi Babu as ruthless evil, who have few children, who die in the hands of Balakrishna and above all, even his weapon is inspired from Simha and if Balayya rides in bullet in Simha, here he rides a swanky bike, so where is novelty factor.
'For a commercial movie with a big star, collections are yardstick for its success and novelty, logic are secondary. Director Boyapati, has invented a formulaic script for Balayya and minting money, that's it' says a producer. What you say guys?

Rajamouli's comments on Legend movie
Legend review by Rajamouli
This is will top as the best compliments for Balakrishna;
ace-filmmaker S S Rajamouli has hailed the actor’s performance in Legend
that released yesterday. Fans and industry biggies are
sending in rave reviews of Legend, which definitely must be overwhelming for
Balayya.
Rajamouli has stated,
“Congratulations to Saigaru +14 reels and Boyapati Sreenu garu for the
LEGENDary success!!! …Felt that Dialogues by Rathnam garu & Radhika Aptes
Characterization & Acting are the heart and soul of the film. And for
Balayya this is his BEST performance till date. THE LION IS TRULY BACK!”
Rajamouli reportedly watched the premier show of
Legend at Bramarambha Theatre along with his wife Rama Rajamouli and music
composer MM Keeravani.
The director’s review will likely motivate audience who are not
great fans of Balayya and in fact Rajamouli’s comments are like a grade certificate in
itself that might also serve as word of mouth and draw larger crowds over the
weekend.

Legend movie review
Movie name: Legend
Producers: 14 Reels entertainment, Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, Anil Sunkara
Diector: Boyapati Srinu
Cast: Balakrishna, Sonali Chowhan, Radhika Apte,
Music director: Devi Sri Prasad
Release date: Mar-28-2014
Producers: 14 Reels entertainment, Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, Anil Sunkara
Diector: Boyapati Srinu
Cast: Balakrishna, Sonali Chowhan, Radhika Apte,
Music director: Devi Sri Prasad
Release date: Mar-28-2014
Legend is undoubtedly one of the most
anticipated film of this year for various reasons. Boyapati, Balakrishna
combination coming second time after successful Simha, Prestegious banner of
Tollywood 14 reels entertainment is producing the film, Devi Sri is first
time composing music for Balayya, Jagapati babu is enacting a villain role
for the first time and above all it is releasing just before state
elections. Let us see if this movie stands up to its expectations or not?
Story:
Krishna
(Balakrishna) lives far away from his family in Dubai. His grandmother wants
him to stay away from violence and lead a peaceful life. Krishna falls in love
with Sneha (Sonal Chauhan) and on his return to India he confronts with
Jitender's (Jagapathi Babu) son and beats him to death. Jitender is the reason
for the death of Krishna's parents. What follows next is an adrenaline pumping
action drama with loads of powerful dialogues and heroism elevation scenes.
Performances:
This is Balayya’s one of the
best performances in his career. This kind of roles is a cakewalk for Balayya
and he proved once again that no one can replace him in such powerful roles
where a hero is not less than a lion. His action episodes, dialogue delivery
and costumes are simply superb and cherish his fans to the core.
Jagapati babu is the right
choice as a villain and he is best suited for the character and the makeup
given to him is never before kind. I get a feeling that Jagapati babu will get
so many offers after this film He looks dashing and very handsome with those
white beard and stylish costumes. His baritone voice adds extra strength to his
performance.
Sonali Chowhan is apt and Radhika
apte is good. There is nothing more to tell
about them.
Brahmanandam is ok. I feel bad to say that
Boyapati could not utilize Brahmi’s stamina as required. His comedy scenes are
not well crafted and we can not blame Brahmi as he is already proven comedian.
So, it is Boyapati who could have worked more on Brahmi’s scenes.
Technical aspects:
Production values of this film is top
notch. The entire movie is very lavish and producers once again proved that
they don’t ind to shell out money for the best quality.Devi Sri Prasad back
ground score is out standing. The title song is simply superb though
other songs are not so appealing. Editing is good but it could have been better
in first half to cut few dragging scenes. Camera work is good.
Direction of Boyapati Srinu is
marvelous. He is proved once again that he is the top director in Tollywood
after Rajamouli in portraying high octane action oriented movies. And for
Balakrishna he is the best as he knows how to present Balayya to please his
fans. He seem to be recovered few of his small mistakes from his last
film Dammu, but again the excess violence might keep some audience away
from this film.
Plus points:
Bala Krishna’s top notch performance
Boyapati Srinu’s direction
Jagapati babu’s performance
Production values
Background score
Political
related dialogues
2nd half of the movie
Minus points:
Brahmi’s comedy.
Few unwanted
sentiment scenes
Excessive violence
Excessive violence
Slow 1st half.
Analysis:
Legend is a complete commercial package with all the ingredients neatly packed in. The film starts off with a bang with Jagapathi Babu setting right expectations on the film. The graph dips a bit after Balakrishna's character was introduced. Director tried to add comedy flavor to the film by giving maximum footage to Brahmanandam for a while.
They have made desperate attempt to make it work, but the theme of this film doesn't accommodate comedy. Interval gives the real punch and from there on there is no stopping Legend. The film goes from strength to strength with each scene. Balakrishna just carried the film on his able shoulders without letting the graph go down.
Balakrishna fans will watch this film numerous times as it is undoubtedly the best from Nata Simha post 'Simha'. Boyapati Srinu lived up to the expectations and delivered a full on masala film that will work wonders at the box office especially in mass dominated areas. There is good sentimental touch to the film which will appeal to classes and families. Excessive violence is the weak point of this film and it may restrict the reach. Saying that all the biggest hits from Balakrishna had excessive violence and therefore it shouldn't be a big problem for Legend.
Verdict: The Lion Roars Again!

EC gave clean chit to Legend
By now, we all know that Balayya’s Legend is a political
entertainer and when the filmentered the Censor Board for clearance, the filmmakers were
in for a shock as the board said that they will have
to cut a few scenes and beep some “objectionable” dialogues.
However, the board gave another option to the
filmmakers to avoid any cuts and rather asked them to take a ‘No Objection Certificate’
from the Election Commission of India, as they were of the opinion that the
strong political punches used in the film might disrupt law and order in the
State considering the election season.
And much to the joy and
relief of the makers, the EC has given the film a clean chit and in fact has
appreciated the director Boyapati Srinu’s take on current-day politics. Now,
Legend will have to wait to get a U/A certificate from the Censor
Board.
Legend is set to release worldwide on the 28th of March.

No competition for Legend
One and only Legend
There are huge expectations for Balayya and Boyapati Srinu’s second movie, Legend! The prestigious movie was made with no compromise on budget, courtesy 14 Reel Entertainments.
The makers are planning its release as Ugadi gift to
Telugu people. However it was earlier rumored that Mohan Babu and Vishnu
starrer Rowdy and Bunny starrer Race Gurram are going to
release at the same time.
However, the latest we hear is that in the wake of elections
both the movies are stepping back which gives
scope for massive release of Legend as well as no competition for the
Balayya starrer at the box office! It remains to be seen if Legend can
really create a tsunami of collections at the box office.

One more star to rise in Legend!
Balayya’s Legend features Boyapati’s Srinu‘s daughter
Balayya’s much-hyped
film Legend is all set to release on the 28th of March. But the film is still
managing to bring in surprising elements to grab the viewer’s attention and the
latest we hear from the Legend camp is that director Boyapati Srinu’s seven-year
old daughter Joshitha is reportedly making her debut as a child artiste with
this film.
Legend’s trailer and
music are already receiving rave reviews and thus the expectations from
Balayya’s political entertainer are increasing by the day. Balakrishna will be
seen sporting a new and powerful look and so is Jagapathi Babu who will be seen
playing a villain’s role for the first time. Sonal Chauhan and Radhika Apte are
the two leading ladies of Legend.
Devi Sri Prasad has
composed the music of Legend and 14 Reels Entertainment along with Varaahi
Chalana Chitram have jointly produced the film. It has to be seen if Legend
will prove to be a legendary film in Balayya’s career.
