Balayya shocked Kyra with his real-stunts

A lot has been said and reported about the latest film of Nandamuri Balakrishna in the direction of Puri Jagannadh - Paisa Vasool. As the film marks first collaboration of ace director and actor, the action sequences are certainly going to be a huge feast for fans.

After a long schedule in Portugal, the film unit shifted its base to Hyderabad. The action entertainer, which has Shriya Saran as leading lady, is currently underway in the outskirts of Hyderabad wherein the actor is shooting for an action block with other actress Kyra Dutt alongside him.

As soon as the 57-year old Balakrishna is done with his part of fighting the goons effortlessly, Kyra Dutt stood rooted to the spot and quickly after that, she took to Twitter and showered praise on the senior hero.

Her tweet describes how Balayya shocked Kyra with his real-stunts. 'Shooting a fight sequence today. Unreal Stunts! Balakrishna Garu is the original action hero. Who does his own stunts #NBK101 #PaisaVasool' - tweeted Kyra Dutt, who's second lead in the film.

Bala Krishna Impressed Tamil Fans With His Heart Touching Speech!

Nandamuri Balakrishna floored his Tamil fans with a touching speech during the audio launch event of Gautamiputra Satakarni’s Tamil version in Chennai last night. To everyone’s surprise, Balayya spoke in fluent Tamil and even rendered a lengthy dialogue from the Tamil film, Veerapandya Kattabommana.
Speaking at the event, Balayya said that he was born in Chennai and was raised drinking Tamil water. “I can proudly claim that I am a son of the Tamil soil,” said Balayya. He further said that the legendary Tamil stars MGR and Sivaji Ganeshan were like his fathers.

HC notices to Balayya's Movie and Anuskha's Movie

The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states have sent notices to the producers of Gautamiputra Satakarni and Rudhramadevi. Acting on a PIL (Public Interest Litigation), the High Court asked the producers to file a counter within two weeks.

The petitioner argued that the Entertainment Tax exemption given to the films by the state governments should belong to the public exchequer and asked the court to look into the matter. The petitioner has cited the Tamil Nadu High Court's verdict regarding the tax exemption to a film as the example.

Satakarni producers Rajeev Reddy, Saibabu and Rudhramadevi producers Gunasekhar and Raagini Guna have been named by the petitioner as the respondents. While Satakarni had received exemption from both the Telugu states, Rudhramadevi had been waived off the E.T only by the Telangana state government.

Both the films were historical films that have significance with rich culture, heritage of Telugus. And interestingly both the films were commercial success at the Box Office. It has to be seen how the respondents would justify the tax waive off and at the same time, how the state governments would justify the act.

First Look: Goutamiputra Satakarni

The first look of Balakrishna's most-awaited Gautamiputra Satakarni is out. Royal Balakrishna dressed in traditional outfit, is seen sitting on Simhasanam. The first look leaves a spell-binding impact. After the pre-first look caught attention of many, needless to say that the first look has taken it to the new high. Touted to be a historic epic the film chronicles the life of Telugu warrior Satakarni who had earlier ruled India.

Shriya Saran will be seen as queen alongside Balayya in the high-budget flick directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. While  yesteryear Bollywood actress Hema Malini is essaying the role of Rajamatha Gautami, another noted Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi is playing a pivotal role.

Koratala gave valid reason for not approaching Balayya for Mohanlal's Role

Nandamuri fans have been waiting for a long time to see the two powerful actors from the family, Balakrishna and NTR sharing screen space in a film.

NTR's latest release 'Janatha Garage' would have become that much longed film but Mohan Lal was chosen for the second powerful role in the film. Many opined that the film would have become a much bigger hit if Balayya had played the role that Lal did. Speaking on the same, film's director Koratala Siva said that Balayya won't suit for the role.

Koratala explained valid reason for not approaching Balayya. 'The expectations would be gigantic if Balayya and NTR were cast in a film. People will forget the story and concentrate only on their combinational scenes which will hamper the film. Moreover, the role doesn't suit to Balayya's image,' Koratala reasoned.

Koratala was absolutely right. Mohan Lal played a sensible character in the film with no punch dialogues and heroism elevating scenes. Can the fans of Balayya digest him in such a submissive role?, absolutely not.

The wish of Nandamuri fans would only be fulfilled if both the actors get powerful roles, which is not impossible but almost impossible.

BalaKrishna's Surprise Gift to Hema Malini

Bollywood's 'Dream Girl' Hema Malini is making her comeback to Tollywood after nearly five decades. The actress cum politician was last seen in Pandava Vanavasam and Sri Krishna Vijayam, both starring legendary actor NT Ramarao.

Now, Hema Malini will again be seen on Telugu silver screen with NT Ramarao's son Nandamuri Balakrishna's prestigious 100th project, Gautamiputra Satakarni. Hema will be seen as Balayya's mother in this film.

Currently, Gautamiputra Satakarni is being shot in Madhya Pradesh and the latest reports reveal that Balayya pleasantly surprised Hema Malini on the film's sets. Apparently, Balayya gifted a Lepakshi sari specially made in his Hindupur constituency.

Touched with Balayya's gift, Hema Malini reportedly thanked Balayya and recollected how generous his father NT Ramarao was when they were shooting together. The on-location stills of NBK100 were out recently and both Balayya and Hema were looking regal as the Royal mother and emperor.

Krish Making sure to bang on time

Newly-wed groom Krish Jagarlamudi, who recently tied knot with Dr Ramya in nuptial knot, has returned to work on Monday. Krish has begun the fourth schedule of Nanadamuri Balakrishna's most-awaited Gautamiputra Satakarni and the film's shoot is going on in Madhya Pradesh.

Shriya Saran, who will be seen as queen Vaashishtha Devi opposite warrior Balayya, has joined the shoot of the film. Yesteryear heroine and dream girl Hema Malini, who essays the role of mother Gautami to Balayya, too participated in the shoot. Apparently, Krish is making sure that the film would touch emotional chord in the sentimental scenes as already high-octane action episodes were shot well.

Recently, Krish has roped in Chirantan Bhatt as music composer in replacement to Devi Sri Prasad. Simultaneously, graphic works are going on to finish the historical epic on time. Director Krish is leaving no stone unturned to release the film on the eve of Sankranthi i.e on Jan 12, 2017.

Bollywood Music Director for Balayya's 100th movie

Ever since Devi Sri Prasad has been kept out of Balakrishna's Gautamiputra Satakarni, there's a lot of curiosity on who's going to replace Devi for the Balayya's landmark film. Since the film happens to be historic epic, many in film circles thought Krish may zero in on Keeravani or Ilayaraaja. However, Krish proved their guesses wrong by roping in Kanche music director. Chirantan Bhatt is finalised to compose music for Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Given that the music of Kanche was well received, Krish had retained Chirantan. Chirantan had worked for films Gabbar is Back, Ragini MMS 2 and even worked for two tracks in Ram Charan-starrer Zanjeer.

But Chirantan feels working for GPSK is challenging and interesting as he doesn't have much freedom to use instruments like he does for regular commercial films. What's more? Chirantan has already started working on the tunes and since it's historic epic, the film would mostly have melodies.

Kalyan Ram show his Love towards BalaKrishna

While his younger brother NTR is forever trying for truce with babai Balakrishna, Kalyanram seems to be in no mood to leave his babai. After remixing his babai's super hit song Arey O Samba in Pataas, Kalyanram is once again using his babai's classic hit song.

According to the ongoing reports, Kalyanram's next film will be directed by Aatadukundam Raa director G Nageswara Reddy and produced by BVSN Prasad. The reports go on to say that the film's title is confirmed to be "Danchave Menatha Kuthuraa".

Danchave Menatha Kuthuraa is a teasing song from Mangamma Gaari Manavadu. made way back in 1984. The song is still celebrated by Nandamuri fans even after three decades. Let's see if babai's luck will shine on abbayi this time around.

Balayya again proved his charisma, whooping price for satellite rights

Even as Nandamuri fans are waiting for the first look of Balayya from Gautamiputra Satakarni with bated breath, the satellite rights of the film have been sold for a staggering price. A leading entertainment channel has bought the film's rights for Rs 9.15 Crore. And what's more astonishing is that the TV rights are for the Telugu version alone. When contacted, the source in the production unit has confirmed the development and maintained that the TV rights of the film's dubbed versions lie with the production house.

So far, only the film's pre-look was released and the makers haven't even unveiled the film's first look. Also the film's music composer is yet to be roped in as Devi Sri Prasad was shown the door. Yet, the film's TV rights have been sold for an exorbitant price which is now raising many eyeballs.

These days, TV channels are thinking twice even for star heroes films and not taking a step forward at least till the film's audio is released. However, defying all these traditions, the satellite rights of the film were sold even before the film's first look launch. That's Balayya for you guys! Balayya yet again proved his charisma.

Is this the reason for replacing DSP for Gouthamiputra Satakarni?

After raising the fans' excitement levels by joining Nandamuri Balakrishna's prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, Rock Star music director Devi Sri Prasad brought down all the excitement and euphoria after he was sacked by Balayya and Krish.

While fans are deeply upset with this sudden development, the film's hero Nandamuri Balakrishna's ego is hurt with DSP for not catering enough time to record the songs for the most important project of his career.

Balayya was particularly unhappy that DSP was giving more importance to Chiranjeevi's 150th film apart from being busy with NTR's Janatha Garage and a few other projects in Telugu and Tamil, even though he was roped in for Balayya's film long before any of these films.

Balayya and DSP joined forces in the past for Legend and the film was a huge blockbuster. Balayya gave a lot of importance to DSP during Legend and fans' dreams of the same magic being repeated with Gautamiputra Satakarni were crashed.

Gautamiputra Satakarni Team: Planning to replace DSP?

When Krish and Balakrishna together announced their association for Balayya's prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, elated fans were in for a much bigger thrill when Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad was roped in to score the music for the film.

Gautamiputra Satakarni kicked off its shooting in June in Morocco and the team shot a major talkie part and action sequences in Hyderabad and Georgia in July. Krish planned to wrap up the entire shooting before October to cater more time for the VFX work to make sure the film doesn't miss the Sankranthi deadline.

Now, Krish wanted to picturize the songs in the upcoming schedule and kept on asking DSP to finish composing the songs. However, DSP, who has been busy with several high-profile projects in Telugu and Tamil, kept on delaying the recording.

Inside buzz is that Krish and the rest of the team members, after waiting patiently for several weeks, are finally vexed with DSP's unavailability and are planning to replace DSP with another composer as DSP looks to be in no mood to complete the songs in the coming few weeks, which will invariably cause a delay in the shooting.

Mahesh is the only man who is living up to the Tollywood's trait

Tollywood stars are known for moving their pawns kick and they are popular for doing films faster than any other stars in neighbourhood tinsel towns. Of late, our larger-than-life heroes are losing this trait as they are becoming kings in delays. From selecting script to finalising heroine, except Mahesh Babu, every other star is puzzled to start their new projects at the earliest.

Among the younger generation of stars, Ram Charan is one actor whose enjoys an impeccable craze. Even with a flop and below average flick, he could draw amazing figures from box office. Anyway, he has to select projects carefully because huge stakes will be at risk in case he delivers a Thoofan and parts of investment will be eaten away if it is Govindudu Andarivadele. Puzzled with such results, Charan took almost 6 months time to start his next with Sreenu Vytla. Though he rolled out Koratala Siva's movie in the middle, he has stalled it as the story sounded routine after going to floors. But 6-7 months for finalising a story is a hefty thing. Probably he should do such things while the shooting of his present movie is going on. If a guy like Ram Charan is taking huge gaps between movies, then film employees whose livelihood is dependent on big projects gets affected.

Apart from Ram Charan, another happening hero Jr NTR is no exception. His "Temper" is wrapped in January and his new film isn't started till now. Even his director Sukumar is sitting idle from January last year, and NTR could have made him finish pre-production of their project during that time, then February 2015 they would have gone to shoot. Surprising is that, senior Nandamuri Hero Balakrishna, who is popular for saying hello to box office at rocket speed, is now taking huge time. He took a year almost to come up with Lion after Legend and now his "Dictator" is yet to roll out.

To finish off, we have to talk about Pawan Kalyan and everyone knows about the fiasco around Gabbar Singh 2. From changing director to getting a new look, the film is almost 2-3 into pre-production but nothing has materialised yet. And Pawan seems no interested to take this forward at the earliest due to his political commitments and others unknown reasons.

Mahesh, the most rated desirable hero, is the only man who is living up to the Tollywood's trait called speed. Maybe he would have inherited it from his father who holds that record of delivering a dozen of films in a year sometime back. His "Srimanthudu" is wrapped the other day and in a week or so he will move to "Brahmotsavam" shooting. Before Khaleja release he took 3 years gap and Mahesh committed himself to not repeat that mistake again.

Is Balayya Avoiding NTR, to get his son-in-law into lime-light?

The Babai-Abbai duo of Tollywood, Nandamuri Balakrishna (Babai) and Jr.NTR (Abbai) seemed to have parted ways! According to sources, Balayya has shown no interest at all to talk or meet Jr NTR in the recent times. It seems Balayya has been very close to Kalyan Ram in a personal way but the difference with Young Tiger is creating slight tremors.

It seems Balakrishna has showed least interest to continue any kind of bond with NTR keeping in mind the family and political issues that were apparent during the recent times especially during the elections! However, Kalyan Ram tried his best to impress his Babai by inserting a special song dedicating to him in Pataas.

Even Jr NTR praised his Babai Balayya in Temper audio release stating that Lion would be the blockbuster this year. But Balakrishna seemed to be ignoring NTR's comments and has been very silent. According to sources, Balakrishna did not invite Jr NTR for his younger daughter, Tejaswini's marriage.

Presently, Balayya is only concentrating about his son-in-law, Lokesh's political growth in TDP and is sidelining NTR, who proved to be influential during the 2009 elections. What do you think? Is there really any break-up between Babai and Abbai? Why is Babai doing so? Is there any strong reason? Is it because of any political aspects? Well, let's wait and see!

Kona started preproduction work for Balayya's 99th movie

Even before Nandamuri Balakrishna is yet to complete his 98th film Lion, the pre-production works for his 99th film are going on at brisk pace. As we reported earlier, director Sriwaas will be wielding Balayya's next movie as he is riding high with the super success of Loukyam. What's more?

Noted writer duo Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan were roped in to pen script for this much-awaited film. Already Kona and Gopi have finished the script work. It is heard that the script is shaped up well. For the first-time, Kona and Gopi have worked for Balayya's film. Keeping in Balayya's craze among masses, Kona and Gopi have written witty
punch liners.

Soon after the release of Lion, Balayya would be joining the shooting of his 99th film. Besides this, Balakrishna is also keeping a tab on politics and government activities in his Hindupur constituency.

Titles confired for movies of Mahesh and Balayya

Clearing the suspense engulfed over the titles of upcoming movies of Supersstar Mahesh and senior hero Balakrsihna, Film Chamber has today took a final call on them. After a formal meeting, it was made clear that the titles they deserved are approved.

Mahesh Babu's latest flick under Koratala Siva's direction is named as 'Srimanthudu'. Proudced by Mythri movies, the flick will have its release in May 2015 and soon the makers may release official statement about the title. Perhaps, we have Koratala quashing all news related to this film's title as rumour but not saying anything about this particular title.

On the other hand, Nandamuri Balakrishna has issues with a Telangana producer regarding using the title 'Lion'. As it happened in the case of Kalyanaram Kathi and Mahesh Khaleja, here we have 'NBK Lion' approved by the chamber. First look of this Satyadeva directorial is planned for December 31st release.

Balayya as a Don

Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to play a mafia don in his next film, the 99th film in the actor's career. The story sittings of the movie is complete and the script preparation is at an advanced stage. The film will be directed by Srivas who recently delivered a blockbuster with Gopichand's Loukyam. The same team that worked for Loukyam will be working for this project too.

Kona Venkat and Gopimohan will be providing the dialogues while Sridhar Seepanna will be providing screenplay. Producer Sivalanka Krishna Prasad who earlier produced Mithrudu with Balakrishna will be making a comeback with his project. With the failure of Mithrudu, Balayya offered to do a film with less remuneration to the producer then. Mani Sharma will most probably score music for this film.

Balakrishna is currently shooting for his 98th film which is being directed by Satyadeva, The shooting of the movie is going on at brisk pace. The actor also being MLA of Hindupur has to balance his time between films and politics. The untitled project in which the actor will be seen as a CBI officer, is being planned for January or February 2015 release.

NTR's political family drama?

Young Tiger NTR is currently reeling under string of flops and his fast losing his success sheen. While some blame it on his selection of scripts and judgement failure, others say his immaturity in politics affected his silver screen success.

It is known that TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu used NTR's charishma sometime in 2009 elections. Though it didnot work due to various reasons, he drew massive crowds. However differences arose when Nara Lokesh made his political entry and took rapid strides showcasing his political ambitions long time before the recently held general elections.

NTR opposed Lokesh's rise in the party and preference given to him and this angered Chandra Babu Naidu. Some say NTR overestimated his strength or underestimated Chandra Babu's cleverness and astute political skills. He even rubbed on the wrong side of Natasimha Balakrishna. Chandra Babu quickly seized the opportunity and separated him from NTR.

Balakrishna fans stopped supporting NTR during his film releases and he was completely sidelined from the party while Balakrishna became MLA winning elections. Now with string of flops NTR seems to have realized. Buzz is he met Lokesh recently and sources say he expressed his willingness to Join hands with TDP. Lokesh informed the same to his dad and CM Chandra Babu but Babu washed his hands saying everything is in Balakrishna's hands. Lokesh informed the same to Young Tiger. Now he is waiting eagerly for Balayya's response. With ball in his court, Balakrishna is not responding yes or no increasing tensions in Tiger.
