NTR's Stammering is not new, Puri Stop Worrying!

Apparently, an English daily's revelation that Puri Jagan is upset with the way Jr NTR has stolen a character idea from the director is creating an unwanted ruckus among fans. It is said that Puri first narrated a villain character, who has the stammering issue, to Jr NTR sometime back and our star hero got the same one incorporated into this "Jai Lava Kusa" movie.

Forget about whether Puri narrated something to NTR or not, but in the first case, a villain role having a stammering issue is not a new thing to be seen on silver screen. In the most recent times, if you could remember "Julayi" movie, Sonu Sood who played the lead villain has this stammering issue for his role. And he executed Trivikram's idea it quite brilliantly.
Generally, any villain role created by Indian film directors will either have Ravana or Duryodhana shades. And these roles will be stuffed with some 'dialect' (say Telangana accent or Muslim accent or Hyderabadi style) and then some 'defect' (say breathing problem, handicapped or some medical defect) added to it. Going by that aspect, we have to say that this 'stammering' thing is the not so-new and so-unique thing that Puri Jagan and team should worry about. Only the fact that a star hero like Jr NTR has taken up is the unique part here.

Moreover, a simple characterisation like stammering won't help in making a story turn into a blockbuster at the box office, it's the story of the film that matters. So, Puri and some NTR fans, need not worry on this!!

Is NTR Copied From Jagan?

Jr NTR's latest movie "Jai Lava Kusa" got all the attention after the release of the teaser Jai's character from the movie. Though the makers have made a villain look like a strong hero with his antics, the negative character impressed many. But here comes a shocking revelation.
If we have to believe in the reports published by a leading daily, actually this 'character' was originally designed by Puri Jagan and our star hero has made director KS Ravindra copy it. The report says, "Puri Jagan narrated a story with the same character to NTR way back a year after they did Temper. But NTR didn't give his nod to that film as Puri's Ism with Kalyan Ram got flopped. But now he made writer-director KS Ravindra use that characterization for Jai Lava Kusa movie", as said by an associate of Puri Jagan.

Generally, we see writers and directors getting engulfed into plagiarism issues but never there are accusations that a hero himself picking other director's idea for his new film with another director. And that too such allegation coming up on a big star like Jr NTR is something very shocking.

On the flip side, some say that creating negative characters that have shades of Duryodhana and Ravana, the two biggest villains of India's most popular epics, is not new in Tollywood. At the same time, using Telangana dialect for villains is also not new. So what is copied here?

Puri to concentrate on Gods With "Hey Bagwan"

Crazy director Puri Jagannath is the only top director who lines up at least 2-3 new projects while filming his current one. After a brief hiatus, Puri looks to be back to his express pace

The dashing director has already started his new project, #NBK101 and a fight schedule was recently canned. Although 'Tapori' title was initially heard, Puri has reportedly almost finalized 'Ustad' as it suits Balayya's image and age.

While promoting his March 31 release 'Rogue', Puri has spilled beans on his project after #NBK101. He revealed that he will make a film on Gods, titled 'Hey Bhagavan'. What sort of troubles people of this generation face because of Gods is the theme of the film.

Puri has the habit of throwing satires on Gods in most of his directorials. A few dialogues mouthed by Mahesh Babu in 'Businessman' are fine examples for this. One wonders will there be any limit to the satires this prolific writer-cum-director pens as he will be completely concentrating on Gods in 'Hey Bhagavan'.

Religious people generally don't spare films having even a few objectionable gestures, dialogues or scenes against Gods. How Puri mark punches will be received by them will be interesting to watch.

Puri Directed Films: Two Movies are getting ready For Release

Director Puri Jagannadh's forthcoming venture Ism starring Kalyan Ram and Aditi Arya is all set for release on 29th of this month. Latest we heard is Puri will have another release this year.

The director's much delayed project Rogue which marks debut of Kannada producer CR Mohan's son Ishan as hero is likely to release later this year. The film's shooting had been completed long ago. But, its release kept on hold. The makers are now planning to release it in December.

Rogue started rolling much before to release of Puri's last movie Loafer. The director put Rogue on hold after taking up Kalyan Ram's Ism. Puri will engage himself in post-production works of the Ishan starrer, after release of Ism.

Rogue is a Telugu-Kannada bilingual movie produced under Golden Lion Films Banner by CV Rao who made Srikanth's 100th film Mahatma in Telugu. Pooja Jhaveri and Mannara Chopra are leading ladies in Rogue.

Rumors say that Puri Jagannadh's next film after Ism and Rogue would be with young tiger Jr NTR.

After a long hiatus, Sai is back with an action thriller titled Araku Road Lo. The film's audio album and theatrical trailer were launched last night by Nandamuri Kalyanram and Puri Jagannadh.

Sai plays Pothuraju, a carefree youngster who forever tries to find a suitable bride. He bumps into Nikesha Patel and it sets off a funny love story. Pothuraju's life takes drastic turn due to a series of missing cases in Araku. This interesting film has been directed by Waasudev and produced by Bhala Subrahmanyam Meka.

One More Director in The Queue To Direct NTR

Post Janatha Garage super success, speculations already begun on who will direct NTR's next and lot of names are popping up on the same. NTR finally got rid of his flop streak by giving consecutive hits Temper, Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage. His next is rumored to be with Puri Jagannath when the star himself revealed that he has not decided yet on working with Vakkantham Vamsi.

The latest update is that Pataas director Anil Ravipudi too entered the race and he already narrated a line to Tarak two days back. While NTR is yet to make a decision on this, chances are fair that this young director gets a nod, as Puri Jagannath is not ready with any story yet and NTR himself kept Vakkantham Vamsi on hold again.

Kalyan Ram will be producing the film on NTR Arts banner, only if NTR okays the script. Rumor had it that Kalyan Ram registered a title 'Boxer' recently and it is still a suspense if Anil's story-line has anything to do with it.

With a superhit film Pataas and a decent performer Supreme, Anil Ravipudi will take a leap to big league of he gets a chance to director NTR and proves his caliber. Let us wait to find what NTR has to say!

NTR - Puri Combo is Back?

NTR has stunned everyone with his brilliant performance in Temper, which is considered to have brought back the mojo of both Tarak and Puri Jagannath. Tracking the acting efforts of Tarak from Temper to Janatha Garage, it becomes clear how the Nandamuri actor is trying to make up his career going forward.

With a view to follow up on the success of Temper, Puri seems have narrated a script to NTR and got his approval and of could be their immediate next project. As soon as Puri finishes off his work for ISM, starring Kalyan Ram, he will begin to work with Junior.

Boosted with the hat trick of successes, NTR is in no mood to take a break and in fact he's listening to lot of new scripts. Sources close to actor reveal there might be an official announcement regarding Puri-NTR film soon.

Puri has always been very bold and innovative with his films, be it Businessman with Mahesh or be it ISM with Kalyan Ram, and so Tarak fans would hugely expect an offbeat from the combo.

Akira's Mixed response making Mahesh Fan's Happy?

Renowned director AR Murugadoss's latest directorial 'Akira' starring Sonakshi Sinha was released recently. This is the first time that Murugadoss attempted a remake. This film got mixed response from the audience and critics. Though the content and performances were lauded, the snail paced narration was the main flaw in the film. Interestingly, this is making Mahesh fans happy.

If we look at Mahesh's previous films, the directors who scored blockbusters with Mahesh's made an average film before that. Puri scored flops with 'Super' and '143' before making 'Pokiri' with Mahesh. Similarly before 'Dookudu', 'Sreenu Vytla delivered a mediocre film like 'Namo Venkatesha'.  Even Gunasekhar scored a disaster like 'Mrugaraju' before delivering super hit 'Okkadu' with Mahesh.

This is the reason behind their happiness. Hope this trend continues for Murugadoss-Mahesh film too and it becomes a blockbuster.

At Least Can He Become Lucky For Puri?

Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is in need of a super hit right now. Out of his 3 films released last year, two films 'Loafer' and 'Jyothi Lakshmi' turned as disasters. He is currently working on Kalyan Ram's 'Ism'. Though there was news that he would work with NTR and Mahesh, reports reveal that he would be working with budding hero Naga Shourya.

From the past few years, young heroes remained unlucky for Puri. Most of his films like 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' with Rana, 'Loafer' with Varun failed at the box-office. The only exception was 'Heart Attack' starring Nithin. On the other hand, Naga Shourya too tried to get the mass hero image by selecting some action oriented scripts. But, he too failed miserably. Known for giving a complete mass makeover to heroes, Puri is trying to get the script right for Shourya's film.

Hope their film hits the bull's eye and gives the much needed success and mass image for Puri Jagannadh and Naga Shourya respectively.

Will NTR Give Another Shock to Vamsi?

Young Tiger Jr NTR's highly anticipated film Janatha Garage is releasing today worldwide. The big question now is what is NTR's next film?

NTR has long ago announced to collaborate with writer Vakkantham Vamsi for a new film to make him a director, after wrapping up Janatha Garage. Surprisingly, the actor didn't speak a word about his next film at Janatha Garage audio launch.

In an interview during promotions of Janatha Garage, NTR stated that, he hasn't yet decided on his film with Vakkantham Vamsi. When asked when he will start his film with Vamsi, NTR replied saying, "I haven't decided on the film. Script works are still underway for the film."

Buzz is that, NTR is still in dilemma whether to give directorial chance to Vamsi or start the project with Puri Jagannadh helming it. Earlier too, Vamsi sacrificed 'Temper' script for Puri.

It appears like, it may repeat once again. If this happens, Vamsi will be the most disappointed man, as he waited for ages to make his directorial debut. Irrespective of director, Kalyan Ram will produce NTR's next film under NTR Arts Banner.

Star Director to direct Naga Shourya!

Director Puri Jagan and Naga Shourya are all set to team up for a mass entertainer. This project is expected to take off in October and Puri is currently putting the finishing touches to the script. The movie announcement has raised eyebrows as Puri has not worked with an upcoming actor like Shourya before.
But the ace director reportedly has a script that calls for a very young and relatively fresh face and that is the reason behind the casting choice. The movie is a medium budget film and Puri is planning to wrap it up in quick time. The rest of the cast and crew are being finalised and official announcements will come soon.

TFI Latest Trend: Producers and Star Heroes are gifting their Directors

Call it an act of gratitude or an attempt to show special appreciation, producer BVSN Prasad has gifted a luxury car to director Sukumar as the duo's last outing Nannaku Prematho turned out to be good hit. Prasad has been contemplating to gift Sukumar ever since the film turned out to be success and finally purchased BMW X3 and gifted Sukumar recently.

Gifting director's with cars isn't new. Soon after the success of Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, producers Bunny Vas, Vamsi, have gifted expensive Jaguar car to director Maruthi. Producer Bandla Ganesh had gifted 44-lakh worth diamond lighter to director Puri Jagannadh in the past before the duo worked for Iddarammayilatho.

Star heroes too not any less in gifting their directors. Superstar Mahesh Babu has gifted Audi A6 to director Koratala Siva for delivering a blockbuster Srimanthudu. Jr NTR recently said to have gifted a 20-Lakh watch to director Koratala Siva before the shooting of Janatha Garage kicked off. NTR in the past too gifted watches to directors Harish Shankar, Sreenu Vaitla.

Looks like, directors are being rewarded by the producers, stars who're leaving no opportunity unturned to impress them and trying to be in directors good books.

Jagapathi babu: Puri felt sad for missing that point

Final shares of Jr NTR's early 2015 release have touched just 40 crores shared despite that fact that the film is touted as a blockbuster by critics. Senior hero Jagapathi Babu says that proper casting of stars would have raised the film's collection graphs.

"Had I done Posani Krishnamurali's role, the collections would have been different. If a former hero like Jagapathi Babu declines to salute a hero like NTR and then he salutes later, overall heroism would have got elevated. That would have raises collections by 7-8 crores", says Jagapathi Babu.  With no offence meant, he says Telugu industry is still not coming out of the mould to cast actors like him in proper roles. When he shared the same with Puri Jagan, who has earlier directed him Baachi, felt sad for missing that point out.

"I'm looking forward for kind of roles that are being done by Big B, Prakash Raj, late Srihari and Praan. If any director approaches with a different role, I'm ready to take it up as a challenge", says Jagapathi, asking Telugu Industry folks to vouch for a change.

The remaining cast and crew of this movie will be announced sometime soon. Titled as Auto Jani, this film will be bankrolled by Ram Charan.

Suddenly, last night , both Nithiin and Puri announced on twitter that the project was cancelled and that the film is being done with another hero. These details are still not clear but speculation is that it could be Sai Dharam Tej.

The reason for this sudden change is not known and fans are wondering about the strong factor that could have prompted this sudden change.

Odds are completely in favor of "Temper"

NTR's previous two films were outright disasters at the box office. His last outing Rabhasa was a colossal flop and couldn't even breach the thirty crore mark. Puri Jagannadh has been in horrible form of late and the effect of this is showing up on Temper's pre release business.

Temper opted for release during non-holiday, non-festival period and buyers are not ready to shell out big bucks on this film. Theatrical Business of Temper is closed at forty crore range as per trade sources. That is way beneath average mark for a film with a big star like NTR in the lead. Temper could have easily made another five crores if it was released during Pongal season.

On the flip side, selling for lower rates is going to be a boon for Temper as it would be easy for the film to enter safe zone. Ramayya Vastavayya made around 33 crores with disaster talk and also had to deal with the industry hit Attarintiki Daredi at that time. Buyers of Badshah lost some money even though it collected a worldwide share of 46 crores. So Temper can easily make 40 crores with decent talk. Odds are completely in favor of Temper and let's hope Young Tiger scores a blockbuster.

Leaked dialogues from NTR's Temper

NTR after two back to back disasters Ramayya Vastavayya and Rabhasa is trying to reverse the popularity and trend by showing his Temper under the direction of Puri Jagannath.

The film starring Kajal as heroine is progressing at brisk pace. In the meanwhile dialogues rumored to be related to Temper are doing rounds in internet.

Following dialogues thundered by NTR as inspector Daya is delighting fans.

"Nenu control thappi kodithe...Control Room varake Pothav..!Nenu confident ga kodithe..antiki kanabadkunda pothav..!Adhe nenu nakunna "TEMPER" tho kodithe.. comaa….Dhanammoo yemantaraa dhani aadiki pothav..!!Gurthundhiga....naa peru daya inspector daya.."

Is Temper resembles to Lakshmi Narasimha?

Our readers are aware that Prakash Raj will be playing the villain in Junior NTR's next, Temper. The actor will be seen as 'Waltair Vamsi' in the film which happens in the backdrop of Vishakapatnam. NTR will be seen as a corrupt Police officer, Encounter Specialist Daya. There is a strong buzz that the movie has a good resemblance with Balakrishna's Lakshmi Narasimha which released in 2004.

The makers are racing against time to finish the film shooting in time for January 9th release which looks highly improbable now. The shooting of the movie was suddenly paused due to the strike of film federations and then the sudden demise of NTR's elder brother, Janaki Ram. Sankranthi is the biggest season for film releases and releasing that time will double the profits. So they are very keen to release the film for January 9th.

Puri Jagannadh earlier directed NTR in Andhrawala and the film was an utter flop. The duo wants to make amends for it now. The film also comes at the time when NTR encountered two back to back flops with Ramayya Vasthavayya and Rabhasa and so is very important to NTR. Devi Sri Prasad who composed music for NTR's Adhurs will be composing music for this film. Bandla Ganesh will be producing the film under his Parameswara Arts banner. Bandla Ganesh earlier produced NTR's Baadshah which is currently the biggest grosser in NTR's career.

No audio functions for Temper and Pataas

The makers of Junior NTR's Temper and Kalyan Ram's Pataas have decided to cancel their audio release events as a mark of respect to Kalyan Ram and NTR's Brother, Janaki Ram who recently lost his life in a road accident near Kodada. The accident took place on the day when Pataas audio function was to happen. It was cancelled in the last minute after the news is out.

The makers are now planning to release the audios of both the films directly in to the market. They may have a grand audio success meet before the movie release just for the sake of increasing the buzz. NTR has even postponed his Temper shoot to be on the side of his father, Hari Krishna in this difficult times. It is now becoming increasingly difficult to complete Temper in time for January 9th release.

Puri Jagannadh earlier directed NTR in Andhrawala and the film was an utter flop. The duo wants to make amends for it now with Temper. The film also comes at the time when NTR encountered two back to back flops with Ramayya Vasthavayya and Rabhasa. Kalyan Ram is also in a similar condition with no proper hit after his Athanokkade several years ago. He has pinned many hopes on Pataas to make it big this time.
