Amala Praises Her Daughter-in-law

It is well-known that actress Samantha will be a member of the Akkineni family after her marriage with her beau Naga Chaitanya in October. Samantha shares a deep bond with her would be mother-in-law Amala Akkineni.

Yesterday, Amala took part in an event at the Annapurna Film School. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the event, Amala said that the Akkineni household feels fortunate to get a nice and beautiful girl like Samantha as their daughter-in-law. Amala further said that the entire family is eagerly waiting for Chay-Samantha’s wedding.

Buzz is that Trivikram is considering Mallu beauty Anu Emmanuel for his next film starring NTR in lead role. Anu is currently playing one of the female leads in his current film starring Pawan Kalyan.

Reportedly, Trivikram was so impressed with Anu's quick understanding of Telugu and her effervescent screen presence that he has almost confirmed her to romance NTR in his next film. Going by how Trivikram has earlier repeated Samantha and Ileana, there is little surprise when he opted to retain a heroine as charming as Anu Emmanuel. In such case, Anu can be considered as the luckiest young actress after Sam.

While "Jai Lava Kusa" is going to bring out the best of NTR in both positive and negative angles as he's playing the big villain as well in the movie, people also expected him to play one more role. That's the role of his Grand Father in the biopic of "Mahanati" Savitri.

Ever since this project is announced, everyone is looking forward to seeing both Jr NTR and Naga Chaitanya reprising the roles of legendary NTR and ANR on the silver screen, but Tarak expressed his inability already. Some said that he doesn't want to get into his grand father's shoes provided with the animosity he has already with Baabai Balayya. Few revealed that he doesn't want to play because he's confident of not enacting the character up to the standards of his grandfather. But the truth is something else. 

It's heard that Jr NTR always cares for the money, not the one in his pocket but in the pockets of others too. He advises everyone to spend wisely, save regularly and build up a balance for future investments. Already producer Ashwini Dutt got two flops through NTR in the form of Kantri and Sakthi, and he doesn't want such negative impact on "Mahanati". He jokingly said, 'Mahanati don't need my iron leg', says an insider.

Reason Why the Movie Titled Rangasthalam

Literary meaning of "Rangasthalam" is 'stage' and everyone believed that mega hero Ram Charan will be seen as a drama-artist inside his new film.

Directed by Sukumar and featuring Samantha in the lead, "Rangasthalam 1985" completed its Godavari schedule other day and the team will soon fly to Kerala and the return back to Hyderabad to finish total work. Insiders have revealed an interesting thing about the title of this film, which we hear that Megastar Chiranjeevi hasn't liked initially.

Actually, the name of the village where the whole story happens is "Rangasthalam". Though such village didn't really exist in Godavari's Konaseema region, we hear that Sukumar has come up with this idea as there is a link to it in the story. 

Meanwhile, the scenes involving Ram Charan and Samantha are said to be a revelation both for their romantic content and comedy timing as well. Both the leads are flaunting their village-laced looks in some leaked pictures and they are a hit with fans. Rangasthalam 1985 is set for 2018 January release.

It all started off with Lakshmi Manchu's tweet where she shared the pre-look of director Vamsy's Fashion Designer and alleged that it was 'women objectification', it snowballed into a huge debate as many Twitteratis questioned back the 'dual standards' of Lakshmi and other actresses who support glam show in their films and question it in other films.

Lakshmi tweeted, "When will we stop objectifying women like this. :(". While Lakshmi tried to do what Samantha had done by posting a pic of Mahesh Babu's One-Nenokkadine, however, the famous heroine who is uninvited but caught up in this unwarranted controversy is Rakul Preet Singh. Responding to Lakshmi's tweet, Rakul tweeted, "true ! N then we talk about messages that film send out !"

Nagarjuna To Fulfill Samantha's Desire?

Actress Samantha, who has recently cited 'lack of meaningful roles for heroines in South' as the reason for not signing films, seems to have decided to produce films on her own.

'Why float a banner to produce films when I have a senior producer like Akkineni Nagarjuna as my future father-in-law,' might have been the idea of Samantha before she approached Nag to produce the Telugu remake of super hit Kannada film 'U Turn'.

In fact, Samantha wanted to act in and produce the Telugu remake of 'U Turn' a long ago itself after she was impressed with the original film. However, as she got busy with her personal life (possibly wedding turmoil) and prior commitments, she postponed the remake idea.

Now, her future father-in-law, Nagarjuna is heard to have offered to produce this Telugu remake to satisfy the hunger of Samantha for author backed and challenging roles. 'U Turn' is a heroine-centric psychological thriller.

An official announcement about the remake is awaited. 

Samantha: I'm happy to marry that person

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu finally confessed her romantic relationship with her 'Ye Maaya Chesave' co-star Naga Chaitanya.

Samantha informed to get tie knot with Chaitu next year with blessings of both the families. What's more, she has no resistance from Chaitu's family regarding her acting career.

"I'm happy to marry the person who encourages my acting career. I'm delighted to enter into such supporting family. I will continue acting until filmmakers reject me. Bollywood trend of heroines continuing acting even after marriage should come forth here in Tollywood too," says Sam.

Sam affirms Chaitu made her confusing life to be stable. "We are very good friends since 'Ye Maaya Chesave' days. We haven't yet decided on marriage date which will be known only 3 months prior even to our parents," states Sam.

In fact, Sam revealed to be in relationship long ago, but she continuously refused to disclose name of the man in her life. Chaitu, on the other hand also maintained mum over the love affair had even avoided media.

Veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao teased Chaitu on his love affair during Premam audio launch couple of days ago has spread smiles in auditorium. When everyone got clarity over Chaitu and Sam's love story, the actress has now made it official.

While Chaitu is waiting for release of Premam and has signed couple of projects, Sam is yet to decide on her next project as she claims of not getting good roles.

It Seems Samantha To Replace Amala Akkineni?

Aimed at helping disabled kids mentally, physically and financially for treatments, a gynecologist doctor Anagani Manjula-Samantha initiated Pratyusha Support and spread wings wider.

With Samantha not signing any new films and rejecting several biggies including Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai', rumors started circulating that her decision was the result of her wedding plans with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya.

Known for her outspoken attitude, Samantha however has now silenced and shocked everyone by revealing that she has she hasn't signed as many as films she wanted to just because she couldn't find any good roles. "I haven't signed as many films as I'd like too only and only because there are no good roles. As disheartening as it is to say, Sam wrote on her twitter page.

Not stopping there, Sam went on to criticize the southern film industry saying, "Realising just how hard it is to get a meaningful role for a heroine in the south. #timeforchange #nowornever".

Samantha is a star today just because of the Telugu (predominantly) and Tamil film industries. Making such comments at south films after one's plate is full is not at all a decent thing to do. How could she forget movies like 'Ye Maaya Chesave', 'Dookudu', 'Eega', 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu', 'SVSC', 'Attharintiki Daredi', 'Manam', 'A Aa' etc. which offered her meaty roles to prove her acting skills and also star opposite big stars of south?

Janatha Garage Thanks Meet event was held yesterday in Hyderabad in the presence of most of its leading cast and crew members including Jr NTR, Koratala Siva, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Devi Sri Prasad and producers. 

NTR emotionally affirmed that, he will be indebted to director Koratala Siva for life time for presenting his parents, who completed 60 years by this 2nd, the best gift in the form of Janatha Garage.

"I always used to say that, I would see light of my life one day. I must thank audience for presenting me the light I believed in. This success of Janatha Garage is very special for me. I will do films with extra care from now onwards."

NTR stated that he won't believe in sentiments, so that he casted Samantha, although he was warned of negative omen with Samantha with whom he delivered couple of flops in the past. He then thanked all the artistes and technicians worked for the film. NTR also thanked distributors for having faith in the film.

Siva said that, NTR believed the film to reach heights when he first listened to the script. "While NTR is the prime reason for the huge success, then it is Mohanlal," said Siva.

Generally, actors will promote their movies at maximum a week days after release. However, young tiger Jr NTR with an intention of scoring biggest blockbuster in his career and also to see smiles in faces of all distributors is still endorsing Janatha Garage in small screens and other media.

Young Tiger NTR's 'Janatha Garage' is unstoppable at the box-office. By the end of 6th day, Janatha Garage collected 61.75 crores. This is the highest number for NTR and the distributors are expecting decent revenues from here on.

Speaking about the collection trend, Uttarandhra Distributor said, "Most of the distributors are likely to enter into the profit zone by the end of this week. Since there are no major releases lined up for this week, we are predicting that Janatha Garage will be steady at the ticket-window for another week".
