First Look: Nithin's LIE-Love Intelligence Enmity

After a lot of back and forth, finally the makers of Nithiin 24 have zeroed in on to its initial title - Lie. The first look of the film has been unveiled online today on the eve of actor Nithiin's birthday.

>Interestingly, Hanu has roped in actor Arjun as the film's antagonist opposite Nithiin. It's learnt that Arjun's role would be on par with Nithiin's role and said to be one of the powerful roles he had portaryed in the recent times. It's said that Arjun's role would reminisce us of his performances in Gentleman and Oke Okkadu.

Considering that Hanu Raghavapudi's last film Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha (KVPG) with the same production house 14 Reels Entertainment was both critical acclaim as well as commercial success, expectations on his ongoing film too are good.

The unit has left to the US for a 70-day-long schedule. The film is going to be shot in Vegas, las Angels, Sanfrancisco and chicago of the United States. Meanwhile, the makers have also decided the film's release date. The film is planned for release on Aug 11, 2017.

NTR With Raghavendra Rao: Mythological Or Socio?

The first taste of Jr NTR's short performance as 'Yama' in Yamadonga have kept us waiting to see him in a mythological role. But, there was no movie of that sorts so far. However, it's now time for Tarak to accept a mythical role with both hands and make the most of it because it's coming from none other than Darshakendra Raghavendra Rao, the filmmaker who stole many hearts with Annamayya, Sriramadasu and Shiridi Sai.

Sources from Film Nagar tell us that Raghavendra Rao is simultaneously working on a big-budgeted mythological script on the sidelines of 'Om Namo Venkateshaya' shoot. We were also informed that Nandamuri's pride Jr NTR is first choice for the film which may hit floors in two years from now, considering the actors prior commitments. Also, we think that Tarak is unarguably one of the best picks for a mythological or socio fantasy flick and nobody can dispute that as he can effortlessly pull off such roles.

The scale of this under-process project is reportedly very huge with high volume of visual effects. If this materializes, it would mark the first collaboration of Jr NTR with legendary Raghavendra Rao, who also worked with young actors like Nithin, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Manchu Manoj. Also, let us look forward to how Raghavendra Rao is going to showcase the leading lady in the film and who it would be.

Currently, the director is filming 'Om Namo Venkateshaya', a devotional film based on the life of Hathiram Baba, with Akkineni Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. S Gopal Reddy is the cinematographer and MM Keeravani is scoring audio tunes for the film. 

Trend: damage-control measures : Trimming movie, even BB got trimmed!

If sources are to be believed, Babu Bangaram is trimmed by 8 minutes after the makers felt lag in the film. Few portions of the film were scissored in the edit room and it's said to be a joint call by director, producer and the star. It's learnt that the unit is now happy after the editing and all set to release the film this week.

Even the production house's previous film A..Aa had carried slightly negative talk before the film's release and reports had it that the movie was a bit slow. After trimmed by 15 minutes, the movie has released to positive reviews all over and the film got good response and went onto collect Rs 50 Crore.

Given that many films like Brahmotsavam, Sardaar failed to impress the audience and later trimmed after the release but haven't gained much out of it as the damage would be done once the film releases, makers are now opting for damage-control measures even before the film hit the screens.

Let's wait and see whether this trimming helps Babu Bangaram or not as Venky is pinning all hopes on this 'comeback' film.

Aa.. Aa.. release date!

Nithiin and Samantha’s ‘Aa.. Aa’, in the direction of Trivikram, is currently in the last leg of its shoot and the film is expected to hit the screens on May 6th.

The film’s post production work is going on at a brisk pace and the re-recording work is expected to be over by the end of the month. Editing has already been locked for a large portion of the film.

Trivikram is teaming up with Mickley J Meyer for the first time and this album has reportedly come out well. Radhakrishna is producing the film on Haarika and Hassine Creations.

Puri - Nithiin movie as been cancelled

Nithiin and director Puri Jagan were supposed to start a new film and Nithiin even announced on Twitter that he liked the final version narrated by the director.

Suddenly, last night , both Nithiin and Puri announced on twitter that the project was cancelled and that the film is being done with another hero. These details are still not clear but speculation is that it could be Sai Dharam Tej.

The reason for this sudden change is not known and fans are wondering about the strong factor that could have prompted this sudden change.

Nithin went as a guest to Nag's MEK

We all know that Akkineni Nagarjuna shares a good relation with hero Nithin and his family. To carry their friendship forward, Nag invited Nithin to be a part of his happening game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. Reports reveal that Nithin has already shot for this show and also promoted his film Chinnadana Neekosam.

This special show will be telecast in the month of December. Right from the day it has been launched, Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu has been creating a huge buzz, and has set the TRP’s on fire.

Campaign for Pawan’s brand new party Jana Sena in Telangana?

It is a known fact that young actor Nithin is an ardent fan of power star Pawan Kalyan, and he was among the few celebrities who whole-heartedly welcomed Pawan’s political entry and more so his party Jana Sena.

Nithin from the beginning has been a strong follower of Pawan Kalyan and he supports the mega star to the hilt. So there was nothing surprising when Nithin has expressed his wish to campaign for Pawan’s brand new party Jana Sena in Telangana.

Pawan might well not be receiving any kind of support from his family on his political moves but he definitely has a strong fan base not only among his audience but also from the film industry that will stand by the actor through the thick and thin.

Therefore, Pawan is not fighting his battle alone; he certainly has an entire army to wage war against Congress and other corrupt politicians.

Nithin gave a shock to director Maruthi

Nitin agreed to do a film under direction of Maruthi after he delivered a hit with Ee Rojullo. Bellamkonda Suresh gave advance to Nitin after Ishq and the actor agreed to star under Maruthi's direction. Maruthi came up with Bus Stop script and Nitin was shocked to hear such obscene subject and immediately walked away from that film and also returned the advance to the producer.

Although Bus Stop film turned out to be a money spinner at the box office, Maruthi earned lot of bad name for sticking to adult comedy. Nitin came hard at Maruthi during the teaser launch of Maruthi's production 'Lovers'. 'I think Maruthi stopped doing Boothu films and is concentrating upon clean films,' Nitin's statement left everyone in shock.

Maruthi couldn't even hide his embarrassment for a while. We can assume that this public insult will keep Maruthi permanently away from Adult comedies. Let's see if his clean image could get him an opportunity to direct Nitin in the near future.

Hero Nithin is on cloud nine these days with the unexpected success of the film ‘Heart attack’. Before  and after release the movie got negative talk and even critics ratings to this film is not so good. But ultimately the combination made the magic. Puri and Nithin’s fan following and most importantly Nithin’s recent craze with last two super hits helped this film to get good collections.

Now the talk has begun on his upcoming and long awaited film ‘courier boy kalyan’. The producer of the film is Gautham meenan and heroine is ‘Yami goutham. Nithin in the recent interview said except one song all the shooting part is completed and movie might get released in the month of April or May 2014.

Puri Jagannadh, who has been churning out below average entertainers has made a commercial love entertainer with Nitin, who is in best form with back to back hits to his credit. How did Heart Attack fare?

What is it about?

Varun (Nitin) is a traveler who likes Hayati (Adah Sharma) in first sight. She eventually falls in love with Varun, but he doesn't have any ideas about serious relationship. All he wants is a French kiss from her. Varun realizes his love on Hayati and by that time it is too late. He has to fight hard to get her back.

Performances:                                                                                          

Nitin is good in the role of a traveler. He made the character believable. He has developed natural ease and he can pull off any character now. Adah Sharma is average in looks and she did okay as an actor. Brahmanandam and Ali are usual. Nothing to write about. Brahmi tried hard to make the comedy work, but in vain. Ajay and other villains did routine stuff.

Technicalities:                                                                                                                               

Puri Jagannadh once again failed to come up with a decent story. His storyline and characters look plain ordinary and Puri couldn't do much with them. As a producer he has spent lavishly on the film. Puri should seriously think about spending much time on the script than on the project.

Puri Jagannadh's dialogues are okay and camera work by Amol Rathod is fine. Fast cut editing is turning out to be routine in Puri's films. All style no substance kind of film from Puri and team. Music by Anup Rubens is average. There is not even one song that will make a lasting impression on you. 

Analysis:                    

One would expect some unique story point in the film looking at the title. However Heart Attack is just an interesting title for an ordinary film. Nitin's traveler character doesn't make any sense. Why is he wandering around all the countries and why does he run after Adah Sharma for no reason. First half of the film has four songs which comes and goes without proper situations.

There are some moments that are in lighter vein, which would keep the flow going. Interval scene is just ordinary and doesn't create any interest on the film. Second half is routine stuff with Nitin coming back for heroine and fighting with the villain. Except for few dialogues there isn't anything that impresses in this film.

Heart Attack is yet another half hearted attempt from Puri Jagannadh with a half baked script. Luck has to favor Nitin if this film has to pass off as an average grosser. It is high time Puri Jagannadh should stop making films with no proper content. A story should have at least a theme, middle and ending no? Why to make films that neither entertains nor bores the audience. Absolute time waste this!

Hero of the movie, ‘Heart Attack’ produced and directed by Puri Jagannadh in his own banner, received an ‘A’ Certificate from the Censor Board and is ready for release on 31st January. The talk says it is a Puri mark romantic, comedy and action entertainer.

Going by the trailers, hero of the movie, Nithin is seen sporting an ultra new look as gypsy and debutant Adah Sharma will be seen as his leading lady. Anoop Rubens has composed the music and the audio has received a decent response from the movie lovers especially two songs have become chart busters.

The major portion of the movie has been shot at Spain and Goa. Get ready to watch the movie in your favourtie cinema hall better if a hospital is located around.

Tollywood to honor Kamal on getting Padmabushan

Legendary actor Kamal Hasan conferred with Padmabushan Award is a proud moment not only for Tamilnadu but the entire film industry. Probably no other actor in India has portrayed so many varied characters with utmost perfection as Kamal did.

It is a known fact that Tamilnadu Government always come forward in support of their artists and does their mite in giving them their due recognition. As a result, Kamal has been honoured with this award.  When it comes to Andhra Pradesh Government, the situation is not that encouraging and they should try to learn a thing or two from their counterparts. Even our own SP Balu got the Padma Award through the support rendered by TN Govt.

Buzz is that Tollywood industry is all geared up to felicitate the legend in a specially organised event. Tollywood big wigs are opining that the AP Government should reciprocate in the same way as Tamilnadu by supporting and encouraging their artists too. Let us hope this talk becomes true in the near future.

Puri Jagan candidly says that he has fallen in love with a new person. Revealing more about his love, he stated that it is none other than hero Nitin. Like the way our director makes the characters in his films respond through quirky one liner, he revealed this thing in the same way.
 
'Ever since I worked with Nithin for Heart Attack, I started loving him. I'm in love now with Nitin', said Puri Jagan. 'His hard work and energy levels are superb, and somehow we missed out working together earlier', he adds. Reportedly the duo has produced some stunning output with Heart Attack and the latest trailer featuring Nitin's voice over shows that all. One might have expected that Puri Jagan delivered another routine fight and dialogue kind of love story, but his Heart Attack looks something else. Emotional characterizations and terrific energy levels put up by Nitin are huge plus for the flick , if we have to go by the trailers.
 
'Heart Attack' is about the story of a guy who feels that he is missing happiness in life in the name of working and earning. Catch the movie in theatres from January 31st folks!





Will shradda get recognition 

We have a bunch of heroines in Tollywood who actually hail from Bengal and they all are bombs for sure. Among the lot, Shradda Das is one spicy beauty who enthralled youths with her striking oomph factor.

After starring in many flop movies, Shradda Das finally got slowed down due to lack of offers. A hit will definitely put her on top slot, but that is tempting her from a time. She is part of upcoming movie 'Rey' and the hottie showed her dedication to job when it comes to promoting this flick directed by YVS Chowdary. At all the press meets of 'Rey', this Bengali beauty is always present. She sizzles in a saree and sleeveless blouse and makes her curves lit up the place. When all other heroines are finding excuses to avoid promotions, Shradda should be really appreciated.

Though this hot lady got immense acting talent, unfortunately our film makers are exploring only her glamorous side, for which she never said no. let us hope she will get good break after 'Rey' and plunges to the top.

Bangkok has become the most happening place for the Tollywood producers.  Of late, ‘Emo Gurram Egarunu Vacchu’ audio was released in Bangkok.  In an unique manner, each song of the audio has been released by the prominent personalities in Tollywood.

One more production unit are up in Bangkok today to release their latest film album. Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Heart Attack’ audio function is planned at Bangkok tonight.  Hero of the movie, Nitin has shared this information with the media. Comedian Ali who is anchoring the programme is going to entertain the audience.

Ramesh had to pay

Hero Ramesh Babu, elder brother of Superstar Mahesh Babu had to pay a fine of Rs25,000/- as per the order of Additional Judge of 9th Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.

Ramesh Babu produced a film ‘Athidi’ with Mahesh some four years back.  The film was utterly disastrous at the box office. The issue here is the producers have forgot to display the Censor Certificate before releasing the final print of the film. As per the condition, no film should be released without a Censor Certificate issued by the Censor Board. Failing to comply with the said condition, a case was booked on Ramesh Babu and later was referred to the Court which took this much time.

Now, the final verdict has come out ordering Ramesh Babu to accept his fault for failing to check Censor Certificate before the movie released and ordered him to pay a fine of Rs.25,000/-, The movie was produced by Ramesh Babu on Krishna Productions Banner, while UTV Motion Pictures co-produced and distributed the flick.  Does this fine make any difference to them? But, still they have to obey the law.

He even mentioned that Tamanna will be acting as Avanthika. It is known that Rajamouli’s films fetches immense recognition to the heroines. Kajal was the lucky girl who shot to ultimate fame due to Rajamouli’s “Magadheera”. Now, Tamanna is going to get profited by Rajamouli’s flick.

Nithin who is riding on high with two straight hits Ishq and GJG has more luck shining on him. He will have three movies for release in 2014.

He has completed Courier Boy Kalyan which is waiting for release, but before that he will have Heart Attack movie release first in 2014. The movie has Adah Sharma opposite her and was directed by Puri Jagannath. The love story was shot most part in Spain and will show Nithin in a new avatar.

Then, he has another movie which is going to start shooting. The movie whose title has not been fixed will be helmed by Karunkaran. Hansika will be heroine for this movie.

The movie is scheduled to release in Summer and will be a love story with a unique angle. Definitely stars are favoring Nithin in 2014!

“One” and “Yevadu” are the top level films that are in race for Pongal. In form actor Mahesh and Mega Family hero Ram Charan are eager to take the lead in Pongal race. Last time, “SVSC” and “Nayak” competed for ace position and “SVSC” overtook “Nayak” at the end.

This year, Ram Charan is determined to take an edge over Mahesh with “Yevadu”. There are 2 occasion which are on live for these 2 flicks to increase their hypes. 'Praise Pawan and Pack Offers' is the new mantra of Tollywood and the hot girls raiding its stage. Sometimes it is quite difficult to find out if all these celebs are real fans of our powerful hero or just acting like that.

We have seen the likes of veteran comedian Ali, young hero Nitin and sensuous Samantha going guns about Powerstar Pawan Kalyan at every possible occasion. Other than this fanism, Nitin started cashing on that by praising Pawan a lot in his movies too. As he raised the curtains, many heroes are now following it. Ever since Mirchi director Koratala Siva declared that his movie with Jr NTR got postponed to a later date due to non-availability of dates, there are lot of speculations about this director. Though it is obvious that Siva's movie with NTR got cancelled, many went on adding spice to that. It is discussed that actually Siva is hell-bent on making any change to the script, hence Junior has rejected doing a movie with him. Reacting on all these rumours, Siva turned rather emotional.

For the write-ups that are coming in web media about his attitude, the director says that he is new to these things. 'I'm new to all these gossips. I'm always interested in story writing, but never shown any attitude. I'm little hurt with the way things are written about me', said Koratala Siva. What can we say, except, welcome to Tollywood!

Ram Charan is all set to do Krishna Vamsi's film that will be launched later this month. Venkatesh, who was reluctant to do this film at the start, is finally doing it. But ample changes have been made to the script according to Venkatesh's liking, says the grapevine. Charan is not happy with the latest developments in the script.

Few exciting elements have been tweaked and given up from the story in order to fit in Venkatesh it seems. Charan, who is already not fully convinced with the second half of the story, is not happy with the first half now. Krishna Vamsi and his team are working on the script to impress Charan. But can they do that with the film's launch just round the corner?

Krishna Vamsi has been out of form since ages and he didn't direct any superstar in the recent past. Although Venkatesh and Charan combination seems exciting, doubts over Krishna Vamsi's current capabilities are raising questions over the quality of this project. The last thing that the director needs now is the lead actor doing it with doubt in mind.

Courier delays and expected in 2014

Nithin is busy currently with his Heart Attack project under Puri’s direction, who is also producing the movie on his home banner. The latest rumor from the grapevine is that one more Nithin starrer Courier Boy Kalyan which has finished its shooting couple of months ago and also wrapped up the post production work has to stay in labs until 2014 to see the light of the day.

The reason for the pending release is because of post production works left to be completed for Tamil version of the movie.

Meanwhile Nithin’s Heart Attack has picked up pace and the unit has come to India after finishing a schedule in Spain and will get ready soon. Billed as romantic-youthful genre directed by Puri Jagannadh the movie is slated for 2014 Pongal release.

Courier Boy Kalyan may have to either compete with Nithin’s other movie it appears. The movie has Yami Gautam paired up with Nithin and music given by Karthik and Anoop Rubens. The megaphone for the movie was wielded by Prem Sai, and Om Prakash cranked up the camera. Goutham Menon is producing the movie under Photon Kathaas Productions.
