Spyder Teaser Release Date = Sitara's BirthDay?

Superstar Mahesh Babu has this endearing habit of releasing teasers and trailers of his films on the eve of his father Krishna's birthday. For this very reason, Krishna's birthday has become a double celebratory moment for Ghattamaneni fans. In fact, the 'Glimpse of Spyder Teaser' was also planned to be released on May 31, the eve of Krishna's birthday, but it was eventually released a day later, on June 1st, owing to some reasons.

Mahesh has now reportedly planned to make his cute daughter Sithara's upcoming birthday a special one. Buzz is that the highly awaited teaser of SPYder will be unveiled on July 20, the eve of Sithara's birthday.

It may be recalled that when Santosh Sivan, the cinematographer of SPYder, recently shared a lovely pic of Sithara and Mahesh from the film's sets, it was widely assumed and reported that the star kid may have played a cameo in the film. It is not clear whether Sithara has acted in Spyder or not, but Mahesh is reportedly planning to make his daughter a part of his prestigious project by unveiling the teaser on her birthday. 

Get ready for a stylish and conceptual bang from Mahesh-Murugadoss combo on July 20. The film will hit screens on September 27. 

Mahesh Joins with Koratala shiva and team

Mahesh Babu has finally begun shooting for his next film Bharat Ane Nenu (BAN). Directed by Koratala Siva, the film has Mahesh Babu playing the role of Chief Minister and a special set resembling the Assembly has been erected in the outskirts of Hyderabad for the film.

Although film’s shooting began few days ago, Mahesh Babu wasn’t part of the first schedule. With the actor joining the team, the shoot is expected to proceed briskly and Koratala Siva is quite confident about the script this time as well. Their previous film Srimanthudu was a blockbuster.

Interestingly, the film is said to have a strong social message and it remains to be seen what aspect of human life is Koratala Siva going to touch upon this time.

Since SPYder is English title, it can't be mahesh's new movie title!

The title of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 23rd movie in AR Murugadoss’ direction has been a hot topic among fans ever since the movie was announced last year. Since then, several interesting titles did rounds on the internet prominently​.

Of late, SPYder is being considered as the film’s title. Even the makers registering SPYder with the Film Chamber added fuel to the speculations​. The reason behind the makers not revealing the title till date is that they were looking for a single title that suits well for Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages​, in which the movie will be released.

Since SPYder is a catchy title and also goes quite well with the film’s intelligence agency backdrop, everyone thought that it’ll be announced as the film’s title very soon. But here’s a twist.

As per the Tamil Nadu government rule, all Tamil films should only have a Tamil title to avail entertainment tax exemption. Since SPYder is an English title, the movie may not be granted tax exemption. In this scenario, the makers may have to go with another title for the Tamil version or choose a different title for all the three versions altogether.

Mahesh Requests his FANs

Fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu have been eagerly waiting for the first look of his new film in the direction of AR Murugadoss, #Mahesh23. The first look and title announcement were expected to come out very long back but the postponements disappointed fans time and again.

Now, Mahesh himself took to twitter to assure his fans that the first look will be unveiled very soon. He didn't reveal the exact date and requested fans to be a little patient. Mahesh also said that his team is working relentlessly to deliver the best output.

As per Mahesh's hint, we can expect the first look to come out on the eve of Tamil New Year, April 14. Two more weeks to go. The action thriller is rumored to have been titled SPYder. June 23 is the release date.

Mahesh surprised his personal fitness trainer

Superstar Mahesh Babu will soon be flying to the South East Asian country of Vietnam for an extensive schedule of his ongoing action thriller in Murugadoss’ direction. Meanwhile, Mahesh surprised his personal fitness trainer Satish Paryada by gracing the 1st anniversary celebrations of Satish’s fitness center.

Satish co-owns the popular fitness trainer Kris Gethin’s Hyderabad franchise in Banjara Hills and he was the man behind Mahesh’s lean and and charming avatar in Brahmotsavam. Apart from Mahesh, even his wife Namrata has been Satish’s client for a long time.

High Budget For a action sequence for Mahesh-Murugadoss film

AR Murugadoss is one of the popular directors in South India. Though his recent Hindi release 'Akira' bombed at the box-office, this 'Kaththi' director was quick enough to move on and he started his new film with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Currently, the shooting part is under progress in Gachobowli, Hyderabad.

When contacted, sources close to the Murugadoss' team revealed an interesting update about the film. The unit has shot an action sequence worth of 6 crores in this Hyderabad schedule and this episode consist of heavy VFX works. Popular Hollywood technicians are signed to take care of this episode and the unit members feel that this is going to one of the major assets for the film. Mahesh will be seen in a powerful role in this film and the Superstar is confident that this movie will extend his market in Tamil Nadu as well.

Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady and Harris Jayraj is composing the music. Already two songs are ready and the team is planning to shoot a song, after completing their next schedule in Gujarat. SJ Suryah is the villain and Santosh Sivan is handling the lens.

Tagore Madhu, NV Prasad and Mahesh Babu are jointly producing this untitled action entertainer in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment and Fox Star Studios.

NTR With Raghavendra Rao: Mythological Or Socio?

The first taste of Jr NTR's short performance as 'Yama' in Yamadonga have kept us waiting to see him in a mythological role. But, there was no movie of that sorts so far. However, it's now time for Tarak to accept a mythical role with both hands and make the most of it because it's coming from none other than Darshakendra Raghavendra Rao, the filmmaker who stole many hearts with Annamayya, Sriramadasu and Shiridi Sai.

Sources from Film Nagar tell us that Raghavendra Rao is simultaneously working on a big-budgeted mythological script on the sidelines of 'Om Namo Venkateshaya' shoot. We were also informed that Nandamuri's pride Jr NTR is first choice for the film which may hit floors in two years from now, considering the actors prior commitments. Also, we think that Tarak is unarguably one of the best picks for a mythological or socio fantasy flick and nobody can dispute that as he can effortlessly pull off such roles.

The scale of this under-process project is reportedly very huge with high volume of visual effects. If this materializes, it would mark the first collaboration of Jr NTR with legendary Raghavendra Rao, who also worked with young actors like Nithin, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Manchu Manoj. Also, let us look forward to how Raghavendra Rao is going to showcase the leading lady in the film and who it would be.

Currently, the director is filming 'Om Namo Venkateshaya', a devotional film based on the life of Hathiram Baba, with Akkineni Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. S Gopal Reddy is the cinematographer and MM Keeravani is scoring audio tunes for the film. 

NTR Needs To Improve His Market Expansion

Young tiger NTR Jr is one of the Top actors of tollywood. Despite losing the plot and falling behind from his peers in the box office race for a few years, the actor has recently zoomed back into Top 3 with the gigantic success of 'Janatha Garage'. Even though NTR has successfully joined shoulders with his peers at box office, he still seems to be lagging in the race of market expansion. 

Mahesh Babu is eyeing at a haul of Tamil market with his next film being directed by AR Murugadoss, who is the second most popular director of Tamil cinema after Shankar. Stylish star Allu Arjun has also announced his direct Tamil film with mass Tamil director Lingusamy, who has good number of hits under his belt.

Prabhas has already become a notable face in kollywood with Baahubali. With the second part, his stardom is expected to further flourish. Ram Charan is noted to Tamil audiences with 'Magadheera' and he already is in discussions with maverick Tamil directors like Mani Ratnam and Gautham Menon for possible collaborations. Pawan Kalyan is excluded from this discussion as his concentration has already shifted from cinema to politics.

NTR is the only top league Telugu actor who is yet to plan a direct Tamil film. Looking at the line-up of his directors, NTR doesn't seem to be having any plans for kollywood. 

After Movies It's Time for Teasers To clash?

If the latest reports in film circles are anything to go by, superstar Mahesh Babu and mega power star Ram Charan might clash once again.

It may be recalled that 'SVSC' and 'Nayak' starring Mahesh and Charan respectively, clashed for Sankranthi 2013. During the same season next year, the duo clashed once again with their respective films 'Nenokkadine' and 'Yevadu'. Even 'Govindudu Andarivadele' and 'Aagadu' were released with a gap of less than two weeks.

However, this time their films will not be clashing directly but the duo are gearing to release the teasers of their much awaited films on the same day. Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his new film in the direction of AR Murugadoss. The first look of this action entertainer is expected to arrive for Dasara with the teaser arriving for Diwali festival.

On the other hand, the first look of Charan's 'Dhruva' was already released to good response. Film's teaser will be released for this Diwali.

The comparisons will obviously be drawn as both the films are expected to have the actors playing police officer role.  Staggering expectations are riding on both the films and we hope both actors satisfy movie lovers with their film teasers.  

Mahesh Is Trying To Make Impossible, To Triple Treat His Fans

Stars of yesteryear used to do more than half a dozen films per year. However, times have changed and the current generation star heroes are barely doing one film per year. Amidst this unhealthy trend, can superstar Mahesh Babu make the impossible possible by releasing his next 3 films in a single calendar year?

Mahesh is currently busy shooting for AR Murugadoss's film, which has already been announced to have its worldwide release during summer 2017. From January next year, Mahesh will simultaneously start the shooting of two films, each with Koratala Siva and Vamsi Paidipally. Both will get completed in 2017 itself.

One is sure to have its release in August-October period. The second might also release in November-December period as Deepavali and Christmas seasons fall during that period. If this turns into a reality, Mahesh will be the only and first star hero in a very long time to have 3 releases in a single calendar year.

Even if this target missed, Mahesh's third film will definitely hit screens for sankranthi 2018. With that, Mahesh will for sure have 3 releases in less than 10 months. Fans of Mahesh will have a Triple Treat with very short gaps. 

Its a Carzy Crazy Shirt?

Actor Jagapathi Babu has become the latest Telugu actor to sport a shirt which was earlier noticed to have been sported by several other top league actors.

While megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Superstar Mahesh Babu were seen sporting the shirt at separate events, NTR has used it twice in movies like 'Baadhah' and 'Janatha Garage'. When Jaggu bhai was seen sporting the same shirt at the audio launch event of 'Jaguar', twitterati couldn't control the excitement and started discussions.

One enthusiastic fan sarcastically said that MAA President Rajendra Prasad might have distributed that shirt to all tollywood actors. Few fans have already started searching for the stores to buy a similar shirt for themselves.

Murugadoss Tweets About Nayan's inclusion in Mahesh Film

Speculations were rife that top actress of south India, Nayanthara has been roped in for a crucial role in Mahesh Babu's new film in the direction of AR Murugadoss. But, the star director has now clarified that there is no scope for another actress in his film.

In fact, everyone started believing Nayanthara's inclusion in Mahesh Babu and Murugadoss's film as she was earlier a part of Murugadoss's blockbuster thriller 'Ghajini'. Another reason is Nayanthara's stardom in Kollywood, which was thought to be helpful for the bilingual film to do better business in Tamil Nadu.

However, AR Murugadoss has now put all the rumors to rest by tweeting, 'Rakul preet is the only female lead in my film with Mahesh sir'.

Well, the fans of Nayan might be disappointed but Rakul Preet Singh will be the happiest person with this news. If Nayan was cast in this film, she would definitely have stolen the thunder from Rakul but the young Punjabi beauty got lucky to be the only starlet to romance Mahesh in this highly anticipated action thriller.

Mahesh Babu will reportedly be seen as an Intelligence Bureau officer in the film. Shoot is progressing at brisk pace in Chennai. Film is slated for an early summer 2017 release. 

Murugadoss To Use Jyo Achyutananda For Mahesh Film?

Mahesh-Murugadoss project is currently being filmed in Chennai. After this schedule gets wrapped, the team will be returning to Hyderabad and start the next schedule in October. News is that Murugadoss will be using NTR and Srinivas Avasarala for this project.

As the script demands a 90's model house, Murugadoss decided to shoot some scenes in the set erected for Avasarala's 'Jyo Achyutananda'. The makers will be making small changes in the set and complete their shoot. And also as we reported earlier, the makers have planned to use the famous 'Janatha Garage' set picturizing some crucial scenes and a song for this racy thriller.

With these moves, Murugadoss is looking to complete this film as quick as possible and avoid over budget. While Rakul plays the female lead in this film, Nayanathara will reportedly appear in a cameo. 

Mahesh Conditions To Koratala Siva

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for his upcoming bilingual film under the direction of AR Murugadoss. He is planning to complete this film by the end of January/February and wants to start Koratala Siva's film.

However, Mahesh told to Siva that he is planning to do 2 films at a time, after completing Murugadoss' film. So, Mahesh gave 10 days in January, 15 days in February and 3 weeks in March for Koratala Siva. Mahesh also asked Siva not to pressurise him for different looks, as he would be doing multiple projects at that time. Sources close to the actor revealed that Mahesh will be working simultaneously with Koratala Siva & Vamsi Paidipally.

Mahesh was disappointed with 'Brahmotsavam's failure, as the film was not able to get a strong opening. Many felt that 'Brahmotsavam' will have an earth-shattering start as it got released after 'Srimanathudu', which was a blockbuster.

So, Mahesh has decided to come up with back-to-back films without any delay. Looking at his lineup, Mahesh should be happy, as he is working with good directors.

Mahesh- Murugadoss Film's Shocking Price For Satellite Rights

It may not be mentioned specially again that, huge following for Mahesh Babu in families is reason for his films getting fancy offers in terms of satellite rights.

Few of Mahesh Babu's films might have turned failures, but most of his films registered decent to record TRP ratings. Hence, demand will usually be high and TV channels spend gigantic prices to acquire satellite rights of the superstar's films.

If reports are anything to go by, satellite rights of Mahesh Babu's new film in AR Murugadoss's direction have been sold for shocking price of Rs 18 crores by a leading Telugu channel. It is a mere speculation until official confirmation comes from makers.

This is highest ever price for Mahesh Babu. His previous best was Brahmotsavam which fetched Rs 11.20 Cr to its makers.

Mahesh Babu is playing an intelligence officer in the yet to be titled movie that has Rakul Preet Singh in female lead and SJ Suryah as main antagonist. Production values of the movie will be rich, as producers are spending around Rs 90 to 100 crores on the project which is likely to release in summer, 2017.

Mahesh Learnt From his Mistakes

After receiving two severe blows, superstar Mahesh Babu seems to have finally decided to rectify the mistake in order to expand his market in kollywood.

Expecting to make his mark in Tamil Nadu, Mahesh Babu had first released the Tamil dubbed version of 'Srimanthudu' in Tamil Nadu. The Non-Baahubali industry hit in Telugu failed to recover the investment and became a dud in Tamil. Later, 'Brahmotsavam' was also released in Tamil Nadu but the result was more or less similar. For both these films, Mahesh didn't dub in Tamil, which might have played a relatable role in the failure of them.

Mahesh was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu and he can speak fluent Tamil. When he attended the promotional interviews in Tamil Nadu, Mahesh conversed with the media in Tamil only. Mahesh seems to have realized his mistake now and in his bid to rectify it, he has decided to dub for the Tamil version of his new film.

AR Murugadoss is heard to have filming every scene of Mahesh's next film in both Tamil and Telugu. Mahesh is heard to be equally comfortable with his dialogues in both the languages. Murugadoss is confident that Mahesh will find stardom in Tamil Nadu with this untitled film.

Koratala Siva With Mahesh: Love Yourself

Writer-turned-director Koratala Siva, who has just delivered his third consecutive blockbuster in the form of 'Janatha Garage', has already announced that his next film will be with superstar Mahesh Babu. As per sources close to the director, the film's story draws inspiration from the real life character of Koratala Siva's wife Aravinda.

Like his last two films, Koratala is said to have decided to deliver yet another sensitive, message oriented yet commercial film. The film would underline the importance of loving oneself and the theme is 'Love Yourself'. Koratala's wife Aravinda is heard to have taught him to value his personal life and he has based his film with Mahesh on this sensitive point.

It is also heard that Koratala has impressed Mahesh and got his go-ahead in the first narration itself. Koratala has already prepared the script and he just needs few days to fine-tune it. The project will go on floors in January next year. DVV Danayya will produce this project.

Meanwhile, Mahesh is currently shooting for his new film in the direction of AR Murugadoss. Said to be a stylish action thriller, the film has Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead.
