Can Samantha compete with Anushka, Nitya in Rundrama Devi

Can Samantha compete with Anushka

We talk about Samanthas and Tamannas all the time as they are currently pretty busy in Tollywood and are being chased by all the heroes and producers. But a heroine's real potential can only be calculated by the variety of characters she does. Samantha is repeatedly doing same characters in almost all the films.

Except for Ye Maya Chesave and Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu, she didn't do any substantial roles that challenge her. Even Tamanna is sticking to the glamorous roles and she is happy with that. Only heroine that can do a wide variety of characters is Anushka without an iota of doubt. She can do an Arundathi and also can pull off a bikini clad avatar in Billa.

Nayanatara also evolved as an actress, but she is lagging behind Anushka in doing different characters. Right now Anushka is doing high budget films like Varna, Bahubali and Rudrama Devi. She plays pivotal role in all the three movies and that shows the respect she gets from the directors. No other heroine can do such majestic characters and in that aspect Sweety is still the number one heroine of South cinema at the moment.

Nitya in Rundrama Devi

Anushka's historical flick 'Rudrama Devi' has got one more speciality which could make the film lovers throng the theatres. It's none other than extremely talented Nithya Menon! Yes, this short sensation will be seen essaying a special role in the big production.

Ever since her debut, Nithya Menon preferred character-driven roles rather than the song & dance routine. It's only because of her choosey attitude, she managed to find a special place in the hearts of movie lovers. Every time a film done by Nithya gears up for release, audience expect a character with substance and they weren't let down until now. In fact, Nithya even stole the show from Samantha in 'Jabardasth' with a small role. This time she will be sharing the screen space with supremely talented Anushka. So, the fight will be much more entertaining this time.

As of now, About 50 percent of 'Rudrama Devi' shoot has been wrapped up. By March 2014, entire shoot will come to an end. There will be extensive post-production work which will consume at least 2-3 months. The film might hit the screens by the end of May or June next year.
