Mahesh presence in ‘Rudramadevi’ an added advantage

Mahesh presence in Rudramadevi an added advantage
Gunasekhar’s magnum opus ‘Rudramadevi’ is under shooting for quite some time.  He is taking this project seriously as his earlier films did not go well with the audience.  Anuskha is essaying the role of Rudramadevi in this prestigious periodic film.
The latest grapevine is Prince Mahesh is going to play an important role in the film.  He has given green signal to the director to play the character of Gona Ganna Reddy. It was said that Mahesh is enthusiastic to play this historical powerful character and has given dates in December.
It seems Gunasekhar wants to keep this in secret till appropriate time.  So far, Mahesh has not portrayed any role of historical significance.  If the news is going to be true, undoubtedly ‘Rudramadevi’ will be an another sensation in Tollywood.

Regional Censor Board Officer Dhanalakshmi about RGV

Regional Censor Board Officer Dhanalakshmi about RGV
With Ramgopal varma approaching the court alleging that CBFC regional officer Dhanalaxmi was responsible for the flop of his film, Satya-2, causing financial loss.to him by making undue delay in the censor and release of the film and also removal of important scenes in the movie.
Refuting the allegations levelled against her, Dhanalaxmi said that she acted according to the rules of Censor Board. A few cuts  in the movie were carried out because certain character’s names resemble close to real life persons. The film maker did not heed to our suggestion to change their names. We received a memo from a news channel that Varma has used the name of their CEO.
Two things we can observe from the issue is, this is not the first time, Ram gopal varma’s film went flop.  For all his earlier flops, Censor board was not at all linked.  There may be varied reasons for their failure. How come, all of a sudden, Varma dragged the Censor Board into the picture. He should think over it. Secondly, Dhanalaxmi, in the pretext of acting as per the rules, is dictating terms and harassing producers by watching a film a day and unduly delaying the release of films. She may be right in her mind to give good movies to the audience, but the approach should be in an amicable manner.
Lastly, as she suggested, Varma could have approached the revising committee before knocking the doors of the court.
