Threats to 1- nenokkadine?

Mahesh Babu’s most anticipated movie of the decade ’1 Nenokkadine’ is fast wrapping its final shooting schedule and gearing to hit screens for Pongal (Mahesh’s lucky release season).

This high-budgeted Sukumar’s directorial is slated for January 10th release and has Kriti Sanon debuting Tollywood as heroine. The other star attraction of movie is Gautam Krishna debuting as child artist. There is another interesting thing too one can drool for the movie which is Devi Sri Prasad teaming for Mahesh for the first time. Insiders say the tunes have come out exceeding the expectations of the unit and last is the budget at which the movie is made – a whopping 60 crores has been estimated to have gone into the making of this flick.

But what are threats Mahesh is getting? With so much investment a release time with no competition would have been really best for the movie, but sadly there are not one but many films slated for same time release alongside Nenokkadine (who wouldn’t want to cash in on the festival mood and spirit?).

Three Mega Heroes releases seem to be a threat to Mahesh; Sai Dharam Tej ‘Rey’ has got Pongal release and Allu Sirish’s second ‘Kotha Janta’ under Maruthi also confirmed for Pongal and even Naga Chaitanya’s delayed ‘Autonagar Surya too confirmed for Pongal.

There is more to the threats Mahesh is getting. Yevadu makers are also contemplating on postponing the release to second week of January. And also AlluaArjun's Race Gurram may also slate for Jan.

So, in all these movies that 1 will have to fight to win the race. Who do you people think will win the Pongal race?

Nayantara's Anamika is on post production work

Sexy beauty Nayantara has reached her ninth month of “Anamika”. It seems that the shooting of this flick will be completed soon and the film makers may start their post production activities in couple of weeks. Sources stated that this film will show Nayantara in the role of a pregnant lady.

Vidya Balan acted in this role in the original Hindi version. Anushka and Priyamani attempted female centric roles in the present generation and now Nayantara is aiming to cross these hot ladies with this concept oriented flick. Even though, this venture is a remake version, heavy expectations are on Nayantara’s role.

As a senior actress, Nayantara is getting chances to act with senior actors in Tollywood like Venkatesh and Nagarjuna. She is rarely getting chances to act with young heroes. If Nayantara proves herself with “Anamika”, the chances for her to get a role beside young heroes may get increased.
