Akhil as Sachin? Well, yes, if we are to go by the rumors Akhil will be seen as Sachin soon.

With the entire nation in a trance enjoying the moment of Sachin’s last match, his 200th test, there is this sensational piece of news doing rounds in Film nagar circles. That Akkineni Akhil’s debut would be a biopic on Sachin and Akhil to do Sachin’s role and his dad Nag will do Sachin’s brother Ajith Tendulkar’s role.

Biopics are a catching trend in Bollywood and it looks even Tollywood seems to have been bitten by the biopic bug and since Akhil too is a cricketer by passion, people are saying that he could do justice to the role.

But, people, this is too early news to comment on and more so these are wild rumors, so please wait for official confirmation.

Anthem dedicated specially for Sachin

As soon as cricketer Sachin Tendulkar announced his retirement from all forms of cricket after he completed his 200th test, the country has been witnessing an uproar of responses; positive and negative and there have been tributes to the legendary cricketer flowing across from all corners of the world.

And here is an interesting tribute being offered by Singer Kailash Kher to the God of Cricket – a song much in the lines of an anthem in the name of Sachin Tendulkar, i.e., Sachin Anthem.

The specially composed Sachin Anthem is the way the singer wanted as his tribute to the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. He was quoted to have said, “The world has many good people but some are rare. I was impressed by the spirit of his (Sachin) game. This is my tribute to Sachin. This song talks about the glory of master blaster and explain why he is the pride of the nation.”
