Balakrishna’s Vizag shoot progressing

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s powerful mass entertainer, ‘Legend’, is currently being shot in Vishakhapatnam. The film’s shoot has been going on at Rama Krishna Beach and other areas for the last few days. Several key scenes involving Balakrishna and other lead actors are being canned in this schedule.

Sources say that horses were used for some scenes recently. Balakrishna will have Radhika Apte and Sonal Chauhan as the leading ladies in this film. Jagapathi Babu is essaying the villain’s role in this movie.

‘Legend’ is being directed by Boyapati Sreenu and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the tunes. The film is expected to hit the screens in Feb 2014. 14 Reels Entertainment and Varahi Chalana Chitram are jointly producing this big budget film.

‘Race Gurram’ out of race in Sankranthi

Latest reports says Bunny’s ‘Race Gurram’ is out of the race and is not releasing for Sankranthi to give way to another mega family film ‘Evadu’.  Earlier it was announced that ‘Race Gurram’ will be released for Sankranthi and accordingly all arrangements have been made. Suddenly Cherry’s ‘Evadu’ is postphoned from December to Sankranthi.

Producers thought that releasing two films of the same family may not go well with the audience and may not be the right strategy; particularly when Mahesh Babu’s ’1-Nenokkadine’ is going to be in the fray.  A slight gap between their releases will be well received by the audience and collections too will be decent irrespective of the outcome of the films.

Baahubali team planning informative videos

The production team of ‘Baahubali’ is planning something unique for fans and movie lovers. The unit is planning to release a series of informative videos over the next few months, to explain certain aspects of the film.

For instance, the team is putting in a huge amount of work in the art department. So, a video that explains why a certain sword was designed in a specific way etc., is what the team hasin mind. Sources say that the unit is planning to cover various aspects of production with these videos.

Ace director S.S.Rajamouli is handling this big budget extravaganza and shooting is currently going on in Kerala. Prabhas and Rana will be seen as the lead actors in this film. Arka Media is producing this project.
