2014 Will be litmus test for Mahesh?

Mahesh seems to be in full swing when it comes to signing up projects. And we know they are all big budget movies. So considering the rate at which he is signing movies we can foresee a good season of Mahesh’s movie releases in 2014.

His project with Sukumar, 1 Nenokkadine will be the first one to hit screens in 2014, for the Pongal time, then the second would be a summer release which is yet to start shooting, the already most talked about projects in this season, under Srinu Vaitla, Aagadu with Milk Beauty Tamannaah. The shooting for Aagadu is expected to start in December and is scheduled for Summer release.

Next in line is a movie with Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner that Mahesh signed up last week. This might commence shooting by March-April and we believe would be readied for the Dasara or get a Diwali release. So that’s it, people. and as people say if he is also doing cameo in Rudramadevi it will make four movies in one single year, a rare feat in these days by Mahesh and if these score hit then it will be tough for anyone to beat his position in Tollywood.

1 year challenge to Tollywood film directors

Tollywood film directors are experiencing the toughest phase with respect to time. For the next 1 year, the situation in the state will be quite unpredictable. Anything may happen at any point of time and the political aspect may fall directly on films.

T – agitation turned out to be a sensitive aspect in the state. Any small controversy on this aspect may trigger the people of both the regions. Hence, film makers need to take care of all the aspects they show in their flicks. One year back, Puri Jaganath faced bitter situation in Telengana region as his film “Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu” turned controversial.

For the next 1 year, the situation is expected to be the same. As the days are getting nearer to elections, the intensity of agitation may touch the skies. Soon after elections, the government may decide on something and it may put an end to the agitations. Till then, film makers need to take care not to raise a controversy in the state.
