Young Tiger NTR's Janatha Garage has shown its might at the worldwide box-office on its opening day. The film has collected a whopping share of Rs. 20.49 crores in its opening day in Andhra, Nizam and Ceded areas.
This is indeed a staggering share which has surpassed even the estimations of trade pundits who predicted that the film may collect anywhere around 18-19 crore share in the twin Telugu states.
With this, Janatha Garage stood in third position in the list of all-time highest opening day earners in the Telugu states after Baahubali (Rs. 22.40 crores) and Sardaar Gabbar Singh (Rs. 20.92 crores), missing Sardaar's record by just 43 lakhs.
Janatha Garage collected a share of 5.51 crores in Nizam and placed itself next to Baahubali in this region. The film collected the highest ever share for a Telugu film in Krishna, Guntur, Uttarandhra and East Godavari districts.
