Avasarala Srinivas: I Did not Direct Climax!

When actor turned director Srinivas Avasarala geared up for the release of Jyo Achyutananda, he was braving the much dreaded 'second film jinx' sentiment. However, Avasarala came out flying colours as the film is running well and even earned him a good name.

To celebrate his second film's success and promote the film, Srinivas Avasarala, along with the film's heroes Nara Rohit and Naga Shourya, interacted with a popular news channel last night and revealed an interesting secret about the film.

Avasarala said that he did not direct the climax scenes which had Nani in a special appearance. It was in fact Srinivas Avasarala's 'guru' and his first film Ashta Chamma's director Indraganti Mohanakrishna who directed the climax scene.

Srinivas said that Mohanakrishna paid a surprise visit to the sets on the day of the shooting of this scene and that he then donned the director's hat and called the shots.

Srinivas also revealed that he appeared alongside Nani in that scene to relive the Ashta Chamma days, but he had removed his shots during the editing.
