Akkineni Nagarjuna is heard to have acquired the distribution rights of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' by investing a huge sum.
Nag is already busy with multiple personal and professional commitments. He is participating in the shooting of 'Namo Venkatesa', taking care of his businesses, producing films on Annapurna Productions banner, mulling over setting up projects for his two sons and still he got himself into 'Baahubali' business bandwagon.
After the phenomenal success of 'Baahubali: The Beginning', distributors from all the regions are betting heavily to grab the distribution rights of second part. Nagarjuna has partnered with Vaarahi Productions honcho Sai Korrapati to grab the distribution rights of Krishna region by investing a mammoth Rs 8 Cr. Apparently, this sum is Rs 1.2 Cr more than what the first part collected in its full run (Rs 6.8 Cr).
The expanded market of Telugu cinema, the ticket price hike and the unmatchable craze for 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' seem to have rendered the courage to Nag to invest such huge amount on Baahubali part 2.
Carrying sky high expectations, Baahubali 2 will hit screens on April 28, 2017.
