Vikram's Dual role is Pulling

Notwithstanding the debacle of Vikram's previous film I, Vikram's latest offing Inkokkadu (Iru Mugan in Tamil) got good start in Telugu. The film said to have raked in Rs 5.5 Crore gross on the opening day in the Telugu states. Even the film's second day collections were said to be decent despite the film's mixed reviews.

While the turnout is good in the multiplexes and urban theatres, the film saw relatively less crowd in B & C Centres. Especially, Vikram's stellar performance in dual roles - as spy Akhilan and baddie Love - is the crowd-pulling element that's helping its Telugu producer Krishna Reddy.

The scientific thriller directed by 29-yr-old filmmaker Anand Shankar got thumbs up for its novel idea, but the film was lamented for dull second half and weak climax.

Vikram is going to have stiff competition from Nara Rohith and Naga Shourya-starrer Jyo Achyutananda which got positive reviews on Friday.
