Released in July last year, India's biggest motion picture Baahubali created several records in pre-release business and the film's box-office collections were nothing short of history.
Thanks to the film's gigantic success, the craze surrounding Baahubali's sequel humongous and buyers from all territories are quoting record prices to snatch the film's theatrical rights.
The latest feat pulled off by Baahubali 2 is that of the film's Tamil version's distribution rights. Apparently, a noted distribution house whose name is kept a secret has snatched away the Tamil version for a staggering 45 crores.
Baahubali's first part Tamil rights were jointly acquired by Studio Green and UV Creations. Currently, Baahubali unit is canning the crucial climax episodes at Ramoji Film City. The film's shooting will come to an end by December and theatrical release will be in April.
