In the times when Tollywood is going through one of its lowest points ever due to the ugly fan wars, the fans' ego is also helping the environment go green even though in a small way.
Recently, we saw how thousands of NTR fans chipped in together and made the #JanathaGarageChallenge plantation drive a huge success on social media. NTR fans planted saplings, took selfies with the plants and posted them on their social networking pages.
And now, it's time for Power Star Pawan Kalyan fans, who have started the #PlantForPawan plantation drive in the run up to Pawan Kalyan's birthday celebrations on September 2nd.
However, Pawan fans' go green initiative is not inspired by NTR fans as they trended the same hashtag and planted saplings even last year and Renu Desai, who took part in the #PlantForPawan initiative last year, has vowed to make her children Akira and Aadya plant saplings for their dad's birthday.
