Now that the release date of Janatha Garage has been confirmed as September 1st, the entire attention is now on the day 1 records the movie is set to break in several areas across the twin Telugu states.
Many are of the opinion that Janatha Garage has set its eyes on breaking the day one record set by Baahubali, at least in a few centres thanks to the hike in the ticket rates. Apparently, Nizam distributor Dil Raju is said to have set a flat Rs. 120 price for the film's tickets.
Even in Andhra and Ceded, distributors are hiking the ticket rates to a flat Rs 100. This ticket hike will be a crucial catalyst for Janatha Garage in taking on the day 1 opening of nearly Rs 23 crores set by Baahubali.
On the other hand, the Janatha Garage storm is also expected to surpass the day 1 collections of Pawan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh (Rs 21.6 crores), if the movie's talk is positive. However, Sardaar utilized the summer advantage, where as Janatha Garage will be going against the September tide, which is considered no too prospective for trade.
With the Malayalam version too creating a lot of noise thanks to the presence of Mohanlal, Janatha Garage is all set to collect huge openings and become a game changer in Tarak's career.
