Questionable knowledge of CBFC Chief?

The chief of the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC), Pahlaj Nihalani has become no less than a celebrity figure thanks to the controversies he created after he was allotted the chair of film regulating body of this nation.

His latest controversial feud with the makers of 'Udta Punjab' demanding for the removal of the word 'Punjab' from the title, apart from the removal of all cuss words went to the purview of the High Court which rebuked him.

After this incident, when the soon to be released Bollywood film 'A Flying Jatt' reached his table for censor clearance, it was suspected that that he would ask for the removal of 'Jatt' from the title.

But, instead of going against the film's title and filmmakers, he spelled a surprise by praising 'A Flying Jatt'. He said that 'A Flying Jatt' reminded him of the 1975 blockbuster Hindi film 'Jai Santoshi Maa' and opined that it will also create history at box office just like the 1975 film did.

'#FlyingJatt is an Indian Superhero graced by Wahe Guru ji. Will create a History at BO; may remind us of film JaiSantoshiMaa,' tweeted the CBFC chief.

He is now being trolled by twitterati for comparing a cheaply looking super hero film to a devotional film. They are questioning his intellect and judging abilities.
