After failing twice with Gouravam and Kotha Janta, Allu Sirish decided to pick films which he will fit for. The young hero is coming up with a family entertainer film Srirastu Subhamastu releasing on August 5th.
Sirish said that he was paid Rs 25 lakhs as advance for his first film Gouravam and revealed how bad he is at money management. "I spent Rs 24 lakhs to buy a car with my first income. I later realized what mistake I had committed. I should have bought the car in EMI basis, rather paying net cash," chuckled Sirish.
When asked about his elder brother Allu Arjun's involvement in his films, he replied, "My brother will definitely involve, but not completely. He will listen to full script, after it is done. Then, he will watch first copy and discloses his verdict."
Chiranjeevi said he was reminded of Bommarillu while watching Srirastu Subhamastu during his speech at the film's audio launch. Interestingly, Sirish didn't feel the same when he was narrated the script. "I didn't understand why Chiranjeevi gaaru said that. But, I felt the film has shades of DDLJ, when I listened to script," affirmed Sirish.
Allu Sirish divulged his interest of doing mostly romantic, comedy and family entertainers, rather doing mass masala movies like other mega heroes. The actor will next be teaming up with Venu for a periodic drama film to be made of budget not exceeding his market range.
