Star Mahesh Babu once again proved his stamina at the US Box Office. Unlike
never before, first of its kind for an Indian film, Mahesh Babu's Aagadu raked
in around 1 Million US Dollars on the very opening day. This is bolt out of the
blue for a south hero. As per the production house, the movie collected 581K US
Dollars only through the premieres screened on Thursday.
Anil Sunkara, who is on cloud nine, shared the news on his micro-blogging page, "Almost 1 million USD by end of day 1. Many screens to report yet. AAGADU on d way to create history in INDIAN CINEMA in US. KISSA KALLAAS." He further wrote, "AAGADU becomes the first movie to cross 1M mark by end of first day(including premiers on thursday)"
This is certainly big news for all the fans of Mahesh Babu and fans of Telugu movies. With this Mahesh send jitters to Bollywood star heroes. Distributors are expecting rise in the collections. Way to go Mahesh!
