After tasting
big success with Telugu remake "Rowdy Rathore" (Vikramarkudu), B-town
star Akshay Kumar is scouting for some potential scripts in T-town. He watched
a couple of films like "Balupu" and "Yevadu" but wasn't
truly impressed, but now reportedly set his eyes on Venkatesh starrer 'Laxmi'
since its good mix of heroism and family drama and has asked his producers to
meet up Telugu producer Bujji, to procure the rights.
"Laxmi is definitely one of the options for Akshay" says a source. After Salman and Ajay, even Askhay looking down south for good scripts and surely Laxmi has all the ingredients, that would connect with masses and classes alike and Akshay after disastrous "Entertainment", surely needs a good hit. Soon Akshay could be stepping into Venky's shoes?
