Samantha, the undisputed Queen of Telugu Cinema has been waiting for right film showcase her acting capabilities. She is tired of being typecast and is looking for a change. She has expressed her wish to star in concept based low budget films but no one has approached her yet.

As per grapevine, Samantha is keen on starring in the south remake of Queen, which is doing wonders at Bollywood box office. Kangana Ranaut played the title role in this film and Samantha was bowled over by the script and performance of Kangana in it. Samantha is hoping to play the lead role in the remake of Queen it seems.

Samantha came to know that few producers are vying for the Telugu/Tamil remake right of Queen. She is willing to act for free in the remake says rumor mills. Films like Queen needs to be made on very low scale and also need a popular face reprising the lead role. If Samantha is really ready to act for free, any filmmaker can't ask for a better bargain. But is this just a rumor or Sam really don't want to charge a penny to bag this dream role?
