Avika is jumping the gun
Even top
heroines like Kaajal, Samanta and Tamannah wouldn't have even dreamt of putting
up such an unprofessional demand to producers. Yes you heard it right. Young
actress Avika Gor, whose ticket to fame was "Uyyalla Jampala" is
reportedly demanding a 5 to 10% share in the box office collections or Rs.75
lakh for her next Telugu film since her debut film was a super duper hit.
Agreed that her debut film was a hit, but she wasn't the 'sole' reason for its success, because it was backed by big producers and Nagarjuna and the breezy entertainer worked wonders, but her demand is too much to digest for a second film. "We approached her with a good role, but she demanded more than 75 lakh or share in box office collections and we were baffled" says a producer, on condition of anonymity. Balika Vadu is no more a Baalika, what you say guys, since even top actresses jacked up their pay packets only after two or three years, but Avika is jumping the gun.
