Recently applied restrictions over the ad footage in between a feature film have considerably brought down the satellite rights price of Telugu films. Forget about small budget films to get handsome rates when star studded films have been struggling.
 
Low budget movies get good satellite rights deal only if they do well at the ticket windows and get good reviews from critics. But here is a small film that has fetched 2 crore satellite deal prior to its release. Lakshmi Rave Maa intiki starring Avika Gor is being made on a budget of 2.5 crore rupees. This film has already recovered 2 crores through satellite rights. Why did that channel shell out such a big amount on a small film?
 
When we dig in to the details about the deal, we have found out that Avika Gor is the reason for this sensation. Avika Gor, who was a superstar in Television field with Chinnari Pellikooturu has made a sensational debut on silver screen with Uyyala Jampala. This film has been getting very good TRPs every time it was aired on TV and they have found out that Avika is the main reason for this achievement. So after so many channels competing for the rights, a big channel has sealed the deal for 2 crore. Avika reportedly bagged 60 lakh rupees to act in this film. Producers are happy to pay her hefty amount as she can get back all their investment through satellite rights itself. Way to go Avika!

New entrant Avika Gor aka Anandi swept a wave across hearts with her belittling performance in Uyyala Jampala. That made her a sought after youngster in Telugu industry. Sharing her thoughts about 'hot' desires, Avika is quick to say that she is eyeing an Oscar. Yes, you heard it right. This cute lady wants to bag Oscar award at sometime in life.

Coming to Telugu beauty Swathi, she became a director's heroine ever since she scored big with Ashta Chamma. However her charisma hasn't magnified due to some poor flicks she picked. Though she's on and off in Tollywood and Kollywood, Swathi's name still rings a bell. Her desire is to bag Filmfare award.

Young actress Avika Gor, whose ticket to fame was "Uyyalla Jampala" is reportedly demanding a 5 to 10% share in the box office collections or Rs.75 lakh for her next Telugu film since her debut film was a super duper hit. 

Agreed that her debut film was a hit, but she wasn't the 'sole' reason for its success, because it was backed by big producers and Nagarjuna and the breezy entertainer worked wonders, but her demand is too much to digest for a second film. "We approached her with a good role, but she demanded more than 75 lakh or share in box office collections and we were baffled" says a producer, on condition of anonymity. Balika Vadu is no more a Baalika, what you say guys, since even top actresses jacked up their pay packets only after two or three years, but Avika is jumping the gun.

Unlike doubts expressed in media circles about the release of '1 Nenokkadine' due to some pending visual effects works, producers have declared once again that the movie is bang on target. Superstar Mahesh's Sankranthi treat will release as usual on January 10th without any fail.

Quashing all the rumours for the second time, producers of Mahesh's '1 Nenokkadine' have once again declared that the movie will release on January 10th as usual. In fact, rumours related postponement of '1' to January 24th is in circulation due to the fact that visual effects work of the movie is yet to finish. After identifying some unfinished work in the recently released trailer of '1' like removal of shadows of camera equipment in action sequences, cine observers started predicting a change in release date for the movie. They say that the movie might get postponed to January 24th such that all the VFX work will be completed to the core and with terrific quality.

Reacting on the pending visual effects work, makers are saying that everything related to '1' is finished already and by Monday evening Censor certificate of the flick is expected. Rather suspecting the release date still, one should realize that Mahesh is bang on target.

Golden chance for Avika Gor?

As per inside sources, Chinnari Pellikuturu fame Avika Gor of ‘Uyyala Jampala’ got double dhamaka offer from Nagarjuna.  Most of the Akkineni fans have been awaiting for Akhil’s debut into the films for quite some time.  But, Nag kept on postponing with a view to make Akhil hone up his all round skills as an actor.  To live up to the expectations of  the fans, Akhil too is trying his best and working hard.

Last week Nagarjuna came out with a statement about Akhil’s debut saying that Akhil himself would finalise the director of his debut film. All of a sudden, when the question of heroine came up, it was heard that Nag is zeroing on Avika Gor to cast opposite Akhil.

Avika’s debut film ‘Uyyala Jampala’ too was co-produced by Nag and impressed with her performance in the movie, he is offering a role second time in his  production. Many are of the feeling that they make a perfect match as lead actors with their talent and looks.

One of the most famous Tollywood film makers, Sekhar Kammula, shot to fame recently with the sensational statement on Mahesh’s “One” poster. It is known that Samantha achieved huge popularity in South India with her statement on “One” poster.

Sekhar Kammula added his words to them saying that Samantha is correct in this aspect. He posted this aspect in Facebook and several youngsters responded to it in interesting ways. Few girls stated that several heroes in the past fell on heroine’s feet as a part of a scene and no one complained at that time. They further requested the big shots to take film as a film. 

This is may be that Samantha lost chance in ONE and even sekhar  didn't get a chancce to direct Mahesh. Hope, This shows that who ever didn''t get a chance they can take this as a advantage.

Looks like, Sekhar Kammula’s statement poured more fuel into the fire. This topic turned into a debate in entire Tollywood. Few more big shots are expected to participate in this debate. Interesting decisions are expected to be taken due to this aspect.

Avika gaining popularity in Tollywood

2013 introduced several heroines to South India. Nazriya and Avika can be considered as the most popular ones in South India. Nazriya created sensation with the song “Nenjodu” in South India while Avika became a hot cake in present Tollywood with “Uyyala Jampala”.

Everyone expected Nazriya to enter Tollywood through Jr.NTR’s flick. Due to few internal aspects, she skipped out of the zone. In her place, Avika is now taking the lead. Sources stated that the film makers who considered Nazriya in the past are now moving towards Avika.

This lady turned out to be the hot cake in this zone. Main strength of Avika is that the actress is well known for smalls screen audience. Hence, it is not too tough for her to gain popularity on big screen. We can expect atleast 4 flicks from Avika’s side in 2014!
