Sachin – Tendulkar Alla
Looks like the acting bug has bitten two popular cricketers from Karnataka. Mysore Express Javagal Srinath and Indian team’s bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad are soon to grease their faces to come in front of camera. This time its not a TV commercial shooting but a regular feature film.
Venkatesh Prasad and Javagal Srinath gave their nod to appear in a Kannada film titled, ‘Sachin’ and the tagline reads Tendulkar Alla (meaning not Tendulkar). This is under Mohan Shankar and is a about a boy who aspires to play for Team India and the struggle he faces to make it come true.
Master Snehith will be playing the title role and he plays role of an autistic child who is passionate about cricket and takes Sachin Tendulkar as his role model.
Suhasini will do the role of the child’s mom who is supportive of the child and cricketers Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad are doing their real life roles in the movie. The movie shooting will be wrapped up in one month’s time and will be released as summer treat in Telugu and Kannada!
