This Sankranthi is going to be bigger for Telugu audiences as they will
be seeing someone away from the regular locking their horns. Last two years, we
have Mahesh and Ram Charan showcasing their power, but this time it will be
Pawan Kalyan and Jr NTR, clashing their films at Tollywood box office. Temper
and Gopala Gopala are chasing odds to make sure that everything falls in the
groove for the January 9th and 14th releases. Everything looked cool until
these two are joined by another biggie.
In fact, Shankar's upcoming magnum opus 'I-Manoharudu' is supposedly to hit screens on the eve of Pongal. But unfinished post-production work is literally shaking the makers as they can't meet deadlines for the release. Also today's (December 12) Telugu version audio function got cancelled, though it was publicized earlier that Jackie Chan will be coming to Hyderabad to unveil the audio of this Vikram-Amy Jackson starrer. Trade circuits have informed that Shankar wants the function to be held of December 28th. For the now, there is no clarity if 'I' could make it to theatres for Sankranthi or if it will give the race a miss.
