that Telangana CM KCR is determined to build a film city near Rachakonda and he
is going to conduct an aerial survey with a convoy of helicopters. Signals are
coming that land allotment is possible for cine circuit people and with that,
all those who are not having any membership in associations are rushing to
register themselves.
The list comprises of many artistes, technicians but here is an interesting inside byte. After bifurcation, certain Telangana groups have set up associations for different crafts of cinema and workers who hail from Andhra and Rayalaseema are also taking membership in it. They strongly believe first preference will be given to Telangana members.
Hence, they are trying to reiterate their roots to Hyderabad and feel it is better to associate with these associations. You might be wondering what if they get exposed. The irony is, association members cannot even recognize each other. There are two reasons for this membership frenzy, one, the hope of getting allotted plots and two, when an issue happens the group will come to support. As such, the members don't go to any meetings and about a dozen people will run the associations. So, they will not even know who the members are what they look like. All in all, the membership spree is on and if they get lucky then the film city at Rachakonda might become a reality and they might get a piece of land.
