Supreme reprimands Mohan Babu AND Brahmanandam

This is a classic example of what super success can do and when talking of some people mere success can test their sanity to the maximum. We are talking of Tollywood’s dialogue King Mohan Babu who no doubt is the most sought after and successful stars in the industry but he seems to have lost it completely. The actor was conferred upon the Padma Shri title but he did not seem to have any respect or regard for such an honour and went ahead pre-fixing Padma Shri before his name like nobody’s business; he etched it on his vehicle registration plate, name plate, in his movie credits, etc., to name but few.

Obviously, such an act will not be ignored and Mohan Babu was issued an order by Apex Court to stop misusing the Padma award. Mohan Babu had challenged the AP High Courts’ order of returning the award and approached Supreme Court. But now even the SC has issued a stern order that the actor should not use the pre-fix Padma Shri anywhere. In fact, along with Mohan Babu, actor Brahmanandam too was reprimanded by Supreme for abuse of the title.

This certainly is a lesson for the rest of the stars in the industry to stay grounded!
