Ala Modalaindhi may be remade in Hindi

Ala Modalaindhi featuring Nani and Nithya Menon in the lead roles and directed by Nandhini Reddy received critical acclaim and the audience appreciated the film despite it being a small-budget film. The film’s success was mainly because of its beautiful presentation of fresh content and the lead actors Nani and Nithya Menon became stars post Ala Modalaindhi. Also Thagubothu Ramesh’s performance in the film took him to places.

Now a Bollywood production House is trying to grab the remake rights of the film and interestingly we hear that the company wants Nandhini Reddy to direct the Hindi version too.

Considering that it was a small-budget film Ala Modalaindhi did very well at the box-office and in fact it turned out be one the huge commercial successes despite being made with a moderate budget.

We have to wait and watch who the actors will be for the Hindi remake, however in our view Alia Bhat and Siddharth Malhotra will make a perfect pair for this remake!
