Why makers are going for huge investiments for  Mahesh and Balakrishna

Prince Mahesh and Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna are now getting fame as their 2 flicks which are getting ready for release are setting new trends in the arena. Prince Mahesh starrer film “One” is creating sensation with respect to Gautham’s debut and six pack aspects while Balakrishna’s “Legend” is launching a new “Legend bike” into the field.

Even though, these 2 flicks are coming up as competitors, there is a strong bond between “One” and “Legend”. This bonding is in the form of the production house 14 Reels Entertainment. This production house is producing these 2 flicks.

Interestingly, both these flicks are heavy budgeted ones and the film makers are not moving back in case of investing money. Till now, they invested around 75 Crores on “One” and now they are increasing the investments on “Legend”. It is a noted fact that Eros International paid 72 Crores to “One” for bagging the rights.

Heroines career in 2013

Heroines are known to be the commercial assets in modern cinema. 2013 changed several aspects in the line up of Tollywood film heroines. Previously, Kajal, Samantha, Tamanna and Ileana used to be in the top 5 list. But, in 2013, Ileana was not seen in the list at all.

Kajal too left the arena in the second half and Tamanna too took a break from Tollywood. Samantha is the only actress who was on top in the industry. She gained a hit in the form of “Atharintiki Daredhi” and a flop in the form of “Ramayya Vastavayya”. In fact, 2013 gave opportunity to fresh faces.

Several ‘C’ grade actresses turned ‘B’ in 2013. Praneetha and Rakul Preet Singh gained the attention of audience with above average and hit films. 2013 gave opportunity to these 2 beauties to occupy the top positions. If they work out well in 2014, we can expect them to replace Kajal and Ileana in Tollywood!
