It is not a remake of Sarkar: RGV, NTR to continue is trend, First Look of Rana in Rani Rudramadevi

It is not a remake of Sarkar: RGV

Collection King in RGVs movieMaverick director RGV is gearing up for his next project, in Telugu, with Manchu Vishnu and also Manchu Mohan Babu. You read that right. Although initially it was thought that only Vishnu would be doing later on reports said even Collection King would be part of the project.
There were also rumors that it will be a remake of RGV’s Hindi movie Sarkar, the director said that it will be an action entertainer and will be set in the seema backdrop.
RGV also clarified that it is not a remake of any other movie and has a fresh script. Collection King to play a special role in the movie. The project has been launched already and shooting for this would start from January. We will give details about other cast and crew little later.

NTR to continue is trend

The saying ‘Old habits die hard’ aptly suits NTR if the reports of Sukumar directing NTR is going to be true.  NTR’s current project  ‘Kandireega-2′ is going on at brisk pace to be ready for release in Summer.
As per the buzz, after Kandireega-2, NTR has given green signal to Sukumar for his next film, who at present is doing ’1′ with Mahesh and Sukumar is giving final touches to the story.
Earlier, after blockbuster hit of AD, grapevine was that he approached the film director Trivikram to do his next movie. But, for some unknown reasons, Trivikram showed interest on Bunny and his wish did not materialised.
As per cine pundits, Mahesh ’1′ is sure to rewrite Tollywood history.  Keeping this in view and following his sentiment to work with a director who just delivered a blockbuster hit, NTR is now running after Sukumar. It seems NTR has not learnt the lessons from the past. Other than wishing him good luck, nothing more we can do.

First Look of Rana in Rani Rudramadevi

Hunky hero, Daggupati Rana’s first look in ‘Rani Rudramadevi’ has been unveiled by the movie’s producer and director Gunasekhar.  Rana, playing a role of Nidadavolu Prince Chalukya Veerabhadra, is looking stunning in a golden costume with a sword placed in scabbard.  This movie is going to be India’s first historical stereoscopic 3D film in which Anushka is essaying the lead role of Rudramadevi.
Jodha Akbar fame, Neeta Lulla, is doing excellent costume designing for Rana, which is aptly supported by his huge frame of body. The shooting of the movie is going on at brisk pace and is expected to release for 2014 summer. After Sri Ramarajyam, Maestro Illayaraja is composing music for this film. On Saturday, Rana is turning a year older. APgossips wishes him many more happy returns of the day.
