‘Devadasu’ will remain as one of the memorable films of evergreen ANR. This classic film was later made in other regional languages also.  In Bollywood, great actor Dileep Kumar, who played the role, said that his performance was nowhere on par with ANR. That is the calibre of an actor like ANR.

Now, his grandson Sumanth is eyeing on to remake this movie in Telugu. He said “I watched the movie along with my grandpa and it is very tough to any other artist to perform the character of Devadasu. I even saw the remakes in other languages also and some time in future I strongly wish to play the character”.  Let us wish his dream come true.
