Rajamouli: I am not that great filmmaker

This is bold statement. The tallest ever any director has said. Probably in the era where star-actors are ruling the roost, directors will feel little shy and scared to deliver certain statements. But ace director Rajamouli emphasises the need for story in any films and makes a daring claim.

"The USP of stars is bringing crowds to audiences. But what makes the audiences sit in theatres and watch the film? It's the content. Both actors and visual effects are the same kind of stars for Baahubali, but what will stun movie lovers in theatres is the content", says Rajamouli, citing his movie as an example to explain the need for 'content' and 'stars' at the same time. "Stars can bring people, but can't run show. My way of storytelling is clicking with audiences, as I dramatize a lot. But I agree,'m not that great filmmaker", he adds.

As Rajamouli says this, he points out once again that the story of a movie should be based on human emotions and that will have universal connect. Well, rather taking these comments with egos, maybe fans should understand the real meaning Rajamouli is trying to say.
