After scoring a massive hit with 'Loukyam', Gopichand has got a reprieve but his new film 'Oxygen' is still suffocating in labs, waiting for a proper release date.

After 'Loukyam', Gopichand's next two outings 'Jil' and 'Soukyam' couldn't do any magic at box office with the latter being a colossal dud. Next, the actor has completed the shooting of his next movie 'Oxygen' but the film has been lying in cans for several months. In fact, this film directed by A M Jyothi Krishna, son of noted producer A M Rathnam, was supposed to hit screens in summer itself. However, the heavy rush at the box office during summer season forced the makers to wait for some time and that wait still continues.

The film is said to be an action thriller and it was made on a budget of Rs 20 Cr. This high budget is difficult to be recovered if the film doesn't get a proper release date. But, the makers have already missed several dates and the coming Dasara, Diwali and Christmas seasons are crowded as well.

Even Gopichand seems not to have an idea about the release of this film so he is putting all his efforts in his new film that was being directed by Sampath Nandi to bounce back. 

GopiChand's Oxygen as Intense Family Emotions

Gopichand is currently wrapping up the shooting of Oxygen. The film also stars senior star Jagapathi Babu. Recently, the makers shot several scenes featuring Gopichand and Jagapathi Babu in a traditional avatar and the inside buzz is that the scenes feature some intense family emotions.

Oxygen is being directed by Jyothi Krishna and produced by S. Aishwarya. The film has Raashi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel as the female leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this high octane action entertainer, which is set for its release soon.

Gopichand's Loukyam is all set to hit the marquee on this Friday. The buzz on this film is very positive among the film circles. It has been a while since Gopichand has set cash registers ringing, but Loukyam somehow is carrying encouraging reports among the trade circles too.

Interestingly the team that has worked on the film itself is betting big on Loukyam. Writer Kona Venkat has bagged Guntur distribution rights of this film showing immense faith in its commercial outcome. Director Srivass is also having tremendous confidence in his product. He bagged the distribution rights of East Godavari.

Loukyam is said to be an out and out comedy entertainer with a hint of action that pleases the masses. Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine and Anup Rubens scored the music. Gopichand is hoping to put an end to his bad run at the box office. Loukyam team says that it could be the biggest ever grosser in Gopichand's career.

Macho hero Gopichand is going to test his luck with the complete family entertainer ‘Loukyam’ when it hits the screen soon. The film is carrying a decent talk and Gopichand has pinned his hopes on the movie for a much needed commercial blockbuster.

Gopichand feels that the film has all the necessary ingredients to appeal to a wide audience both in India as well as abroad. As a result, he is expressing confidence about the movie’s result with his friends and family members.

Srivas has directed this movie and S.R. Sekhar has edited it. The film is being produced by Bhavya Creations banner while Gopimohan and Kona Venkat penned the script and screenplay for the project.

Rakul Preet Singh, who tasted success with Venkatadri Express, is all set to romance Gopichand in his next film directed by Srivaas. Rakul was earlier roped in for Nitin's film, but that film was scrapped due to creative differences between the hero and director.

Rakul was on cloud nine to bag a film opposite in form Nitin. Sadly that film was called off and she was left with empty hands. Rakul immediately accepted an offer to romance Gopichand, who is also a popular hero. However, Gopichand's recent form is not so impressive. He has been running through rough phase as an actor.

Gopichand's film with B. Gopal has run into financial troubles and the shoot was stalled. He is moving onto Srivaas's film expecting another Lakshyam. Rakul has brought luck to struggling young actor Sundeep Kishan. Can the lady luck shine upon Gopichand this time?

“Why did Balakrishna plan to take a break?” is the question in everybody’s mind. There are several reasons for this aspect. Initially, Balakrishna planned to move ahead with politics. Sources stated that he even planned to visit few places in the state as a part of political promotion. But, T-agitation changed his schedules.

The first half of this year went away for political planning while in the second half T – agitation halted the process. In this situation, Balakrishna might have felt like doing the political promotion through films. Hence, he started working for “Legend” in the second half. Rare combinations rarely happen in Tollywood. And here is one such rare combo. Actor Gopichand is all set to team up with none other than Srinivas Raju who shot to fame with gruesome crime-fiction Dandupalyam. Apparently, Raju has narrated a story to Gopichand which fits him aptly. Quite impressed with the narration, Gopi has given his consent. Now, Raju is busy developing the bound script. 

What's more? A popular producer is ready to take over the project and is set to produce the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. This film would take off soon after the completion of Gopichand's present film directed by B.Gopal.

Gopi is going through bad phase in his career and he has been tasting back-to-back flops of late. His recent film Saahasam too didn't bail out this recetly marrried hero. At this juncture, Gopi teaming up with a director like Srinivas Raju is certainly unusual and sounds weird. Isn't it?

Ram Charan's Zanjeer co-star Priyanka Chopra is the first Bollywood actress to become the face of global fashion brand GUESS, and the actress considers it a big deal.

'Being a GUESS girl for me is a really big deal because the most iconic beautiful women have been part of these campaigns. It's one of the most iconic brands in the world,' the 31-year-old said in Mumbai. 'When I went to New York this time, to pick up the magazines and saw Julia Roberts in the front and myself on the back, I was like 'woah',' she added.

International singer Bryan Adams shot Priyanka for the campaign and she reveals 'When they first told me that Bryan was shooting it, I thought there must be some other person by the same name. I couldn't think that somebody is so talented to be a singer and a photographer,' Priyanka said. 







Rey is out Sankranti race

Hero Sai Dharam Tej wants to prove his mettle as a mega-hero and win hearts of mega fans. But somehow luck is not on his side, as his Mega flick 'Rey' is failing to hit screens at all said times.

Though he is not a prime competitor, director-producer YVS Chowdary always want to create sensation when it comes to his long pending project 'Rey'. By joining the race of 2014 Pongal, YVS tried to project that debuting mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is going to lock with Superstar Mahesh and Mega Powerstar Ram Charan who are eyeing the same festival for their big flicks. While '1 Nenokkadine' is hitting on January 10th, Yevadu is likely to repeat Naayak sentiment by landing on January 9th. YVS Chowdary has now declared that he is dropping from the race.

'As we thought Yevadu is releasing in December, we planned Rey for Pongal release. But with Charan's movie shifted to Pongal, Rey will be pushed to February 2nd', said YVS Chowdary in a press release. This is the fourth time since last summer 'Rey' is failing to hit theatres on said date!

Our sources from grapevine say that makers of Gopichand’s next movie are considering (no, in fact even negotiating with) roping in Milky beauty Tamannaah as the female lead for Gopichand.

The actress is currently busy with upcoming flick in Hindi and Tamil and have a Telugu project too in pipeline but the makers are certain that the actress is gonna sign their film.

Veerabhadram of Bhai fame is going to be at the helm of this untitled movie and the maker is busy with scripting work and is learnt to be keeping in mind what to include to impress all sections of the audience with the film. The movie is being produced by Anand Prasad, and he is the same who also produced Gopichand’s earlier Shouryam too and under the banner of Bavya Creations.

The film is expected to go on floors in early 2014. This is the first Gopichand will be romancing Tamannaah!

Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh and NTR are not interested

A regional hero can't just be happy with the market he has in his region. Every hero needs to explore new waters and expand business. Tamil heroes are always try to get a grip on South Indian market and even Bollywood heroes are doing their best to get as much out of SIM. Barring very few youngsters, our heroes are not keen on doing this.

Any film with a superstar in it cannot be made under Rs. 50 crores now. Recent biggies Attarintiki Daredi, Ramayya Vastvayya were made with a budget of over 50 crores and Mahesh Babu's 1 budget estimate has already crossed Rs. 65 crore going by the reports. When such big money is involved in a film, it is important for the hero to try his hand at other markets.

Superstars like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu have not shown interest in other markets at all. Even after being there for around fifteen years, Pawan and Mahesh are still not interested in expansion of market. Even NTR also is not in to this and when young heroes look up to these stars as an example, they don't see the importance of exploring new business areas. Hope the big stars of Telugu Cinema realize what they are missing and take necessary measures. Better late than Never!

Good news for housewives! Scientists have developed a new type of 'tearless' onions that produce less of the protein blamed for making eyes burn and tear up.

The 'tearless' onions not only prevent eyes from burns and tears, but also fight against cardiovascular disease and weight gain, scientists say.

Researchers Colin C. Eady and colleagues noted that the onion has a unique chemistry that leads to its tear-inducing effects when cut.

Eady's team has developed a version of onions, which instead makes a sulphur compound similar to one found in cut garlic that may be the key to its cardiovascular benefits.

Many people eat garlic cloves or take it as a nutritional supplement in pill form to reduce the clumping of platelets in the blood, which can lead to blood clots and clogged arteries.

Garlic also has been shown to reduce weight gain. They wanted to know whether the new onion might also have similar positive effects on health.

The scientists found that in lab tests, extract from the tearless onion significantly reduced platelet clumping, compared to regular onions or even garlic.

Rumour mill is abuzz with the news that Milky beauty is being roped in opposite villain-turned-hero Gopichand for his next venture. To be directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary, this is said to be action entertainer with fun. Though, Tamanna has not given her consent, it's rumoured that she has no other big offers except Mahesh's Aagadu and Akshay Kumar's It's Entertainment.


The irony is that Tamanna is set to romance with Mahesh Babu in Aagadu and the principle shooting is going to begin on November 15 and if she agrees to pair up with Gopichand, she has to juggle between the shoot of Aagadu and Gopichand's film. Remember Gopichand had played baddie opposite Mahesh Babu in Nijam and also opposite Nithiin in Jayam?

Also, considering that Tamanna's is fair whereas Gopi is average complexion their combo is going to be unique and going to draw attention. Just wait and see!

Despite having tons of talent and also bearing the tag of sexy siren, Priyamani failed to reach to the top in South cinema. She has won National Award as the best actress early in her career. However, Priyamani never cared to do characters true to her potential. She always desired to be a glamorous heroine and chased commercial films.
           
That didn't bring her any luck and most of her films in the last five years were outright disasters. Priyamani should have realized that she has talent that only few of her contemporaries have and done characters that challenges her. Instead she did films like Kshetram, Sadhyam and many other stupid brainless movies that resulted in her downfall.
           
Priyamani's latest film Chandi released on Friday and as expected it is being panned by the critics. Chandi is said to be one of the most torturous films of the recent times. Few enthusiastic film buffs tried to check how it is and they were treated to a painful, mind-numbing torture. Chandi did get notable openings for the morning show, but collections dropped for the next show due to public talk. Priyamani doesn't have any Telugu film on hand at the moment and had we seen the last of her already!

People started calculations on the numbers game proving that she is indisputably the top most heroine here in Tollywood. Not only that cine folks seems to be so enthralled by her that one can clearly see that she is being favored.

Take the recent instance if AD. Praneetha got lot of recognition and infact more lime light than Samantha. So when new footage was added to the movie, it was seen to that Sammy is in those scenes giving her role more duration compared to dove eyed Praneeta. Seems everyone favours the lucky ones.

In the case of Ramayya vastavayya too we can see the same favoritism. The poor fate of the film at box-office didn’t show any impact on Samantha or her number one position. Shruti Hassan who got good reviews for her Ammulu’s role in RV was later pitied for choosing a small role in RV.  Though Sam babe is the main female lead in the movie, she wasn’t pitied. Seems Samantha is being favored. All in the numbers game folks!

Gopichand is forced to settle for flop directors

Gopichand once had a dream run as an actor both as a villain and hero. A series of hits have made him busy in Tollywood, but he couldn't keep up the pace for long and is now lagging way behind in the race. It has been a while since Gopichand tasted success. His last film Sahasam ended up as an average fare and Gopichand is yet to put a full stop to his flop saga.

This talented actor is facing problems because he couldn't get in form directors on board. He is either settling with the directors who are not in best of their forms or being satisfied to work with directors who had a bright past and bleak present. He is currently working with veteran B. Gopal whose last film was released half a decade ago. B. Gopal's last few films were failures and the director didn't get to direct anyone for five years.

Despite being aware of the fact that B. Gopal is outdated, Gopichand is working under him and hoping for a miracle to happen. The latest news is Gopichand is going to do a film under Veerabhadram's direction. Veerabhadram delivered a dud with Bhai and is not really the director to watch out for. But Gopichand is forced to settle for flop directors at the moment. Hope his daring steps result in changing his fate and bring him luck.
