Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor and sometimes our very own Samantha Ruth Prabhu have expressed that the pay packets of heroines should be equal to that of heroes. Of course, they are talking about star heroes who are collecting more than 10 crores while they are given only a crore or less. These heroines need to understand that a film's business is solely dependent on hero's crowd pulling factor rather these hotties, at least for the now.
Coming to lesser known stars and newcomers, it looks like heroes should demand that equality in remuneration. We hear that director Teja has paid his hero just 11 thousand 11 hundred and 1 rupee as payment for casting him in 'Hora Hori' movie. Coming to his heroine Daksha, he has given more than 1 lakh. When a newcomer girl is able to pick up a cool lakh, what's the problem with newcomer boy?
Producers and directors are saying that they are giving life to these boys. What about girls? They say these beautiful girls won't act for free no matter what. Especially when it is coming from director Teja, who is battling for proper identification for Telangana based cinema technicians, we wonder why equality of pay for new boy and girl haven't struck in the head.
