disastrous show of Om 3D, Kalyan Ram has donned cop hat and wore a khaki
uniform. Kalyan seems to have chosen a safe bet as the teaser indicates that
the film is out-and-out commercial entertainer laced with action, powerful
dialogues. It also has ensemble known faces like Sai Kumar, Srinivas Reddy,
Kasi Viswanath and others.
Interestingly, the teaser of Kalyan Ram's Patas has very-close similarities with Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster Gabbbar Singh. After all, most of the cop films have shades of one or the other. Patas seems to be Kalyan Ram's version of "Gabbar Singh".
Kalyan Ram is pinning high hopes on this commercial entertainer and harping on "action cop drama" to return to limelight. Will Kalyan's wish come true?
