what about Manam movie?

There is one historical movie that is tempting Telugu audiences from a while, and it is neither Baahubali nor Rudrama Devi. People are waiting for legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao's last movie, Manam, which happens to be a big thing in history of Telugu cinema as it features three generations heroes of Akkineni family.

King Nagarjuna has stressed a couple of times till date that their family's big treat is going to enthral Telugu audiences on Ugadi without any fail. But with their wagon is moving no single inch, should we still believe that the treat is in the offing? Already, other releases of the same time, Legend and Race Gurram are creating buzz in tinsel town with their music, posters and promotions. While Legend is getting ready for Censor on March 24th as film is due for release on March 28th, Race Gurram will knock Censor doors around same time as April 4th is the release date being planned for now. But where is Manam? There is no teaser, no audio launch, and no sort of promotion happening for this flick now.

Though Annapurna Studios sources are saying that post-production work of this flick is going at brisk pace, there is no news of it yet. Only time will tell if Telugu audiences are really going to watch this historical flick on Ugadi or not.
