Who is the best dancer after Chiranjeevi? While some say it is Allu Arjun some will say it is Ram Charan and few say NTR.

Director Puri Jagannath has voted Bunny as the best dancer in the current crop of actors But Sunil’s compliment can be taken really seriously. Because, he is a good dancer himself and if he rates another dancer then there is reality in that! So definitely his judgment can be regarded and valued!

Sunil said that NTR is the best dancer in Tollywood currently. He added that NTR never shows the difficulty of dancing a move in his face and goes out of his way in accepting the most difficult moves as well.  Despite having good relations with Mega family it is good to see Sunil sounding sincere rather than diplomatic. Way to go man!

Why the serious face Pawan?

It was indeed like a festive atmosphere there. Stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Sai daram Tej, Naga Babu and finally the main hero of the event Varun Tej were all there during the launch of Varun’s debut film under the direction of Addala Srikanth of SVSC fame.

Every one failed to understand why Pawan put a very serious face as if something bad happened? It is well known fact that terms are not good between Chiru and Pawan. But again thats not the occasion to show his anger or uncomfortableness. What ever it may be Chiranjeevi showed his maturity by saying ‘Edi pawan ekkada?”.

Many celebrities and infact mega fans present there were murmuring that Pawan’sbehavior was not good. Through out the time he spend, he was so serious that every one got a doubt if he has come to attend the movie launch or a condolence meeting? It is the time for him to change and learn some public skills. Or it is better to avoid attending such events, said a die hard fan of Chiranjeevi.

Yes if you remember this Ruler was the initial talked about title for Balakrishna’s movie with Boyapati Srinu. Later it was said that Ruler was another script which got into shelves for some reasons. Then we heard that veteran maker K S Rama Rao registered the Ruler title.

And there was buzz that Cherry will do a movie with Boyapati and that he showed interest on Ruler script. With so much of that and this about Ruler we were so far in so much confusion. But its official Cherry will be the Ruler and Boyapati will direct this.

Ruler will be a typical revenge genre and will have the midas touch of Boyapati that we see in his commercial potboilers. Ram Charan will be seen doing a college student in the first half and goes on a revenge rampage in the second half. We know Mega Power Star’s fans are too thrilled at this!

Dookudu is a trailer of Aagadu!!

The very look of this image shot on the sets of 'Aagadu' reminds us of 'Nee Dookudu' song from the blockbuster hit Dookudu, directed by Sreenu Vytla. However, this time Mahesh Babu goes up for a rugged treatment by deciding to film this song in the rusty and dusty terrains of Bellary town. With background dancers wearing khaki and holding machine guns, Mahesh is looking like a warrior who is leading fierce battalion that is unleashed to conquer the world.
 
Teaming up for the second time, Mahesh and Sreenu are working hard to make Aagadu a perfect blockbuster scoring sequel to previous Dookudu. Already 50% of the shoot is finished and crucial action chases for interval bang and climax are to be shot. For the first time milky beauty Tamanna is playing Mahesh's lead lady. 

Sreenu Vytla has already said that Dookudu is just like a trailer for Mahesh's Aagadu and he would be portraying Mahesh in a never-before-seen-role. Buzz is that Mahesh will utter dialogues in Rayalaseema dialect. Needless to say that the film will be a feast to all Mahesh's fans.

Varun Tej’s debut launch has been buzzing for over a year and more now but the time really has come and mega arrangements are going on for the launch of Mega brother Naga Babu’s sons movie launch.

The movie titled Gollabhama will most likely be launched on February 27th, and hearsays that there will be full attendance of the mega family at the Gollabhama launch! Srikanth Addala is directing the movie and Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu are jointly producing the film Pooja Hegde has been roped in a Varun’s female lead.

The movie shall be launched on 27th but will complete shooting at a fast pace to have it released in 2014 itself! The story will be filmed in the backdrop of Godavari!

Forget about ANS release, Naga Chaitanya is happy doing his part leaving the rest to fate! His forthcoming movie is Durga and the movie which was launched recently commenced its regular shooting from today.

It is learnt that some of the sequences will be shot in and around Hyderabad initially. Srinivasa Reddy is the director and C Kalyan is the producer. Naga Chaitanya and Hansika will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time and it is billed to be a powerful mass entertainer.

The director said male lead role will be the highlight of the movie and sounded very confident that Naga Chaitanya will make the ideal choice of the role. Music for the movie will be composed by  SS Thaman. So Naga Chaitanya is three timing shooting for Durga as well as doing last bit for Manam and also shooting for Oka Laila Kosam. Looks like he has a busy year ahead!

Ori devuda release date?

Pawan Kalyan doing a cameo role in Venkatesh starrer has shot up the curiosity and hype of the ‘Oh My God’ Telugu remake.

The movie is gearing up to start rolling from May and the makers are doing pre-production work currently in full swing! It is also learnt that both Pawan and Venkatesh are not taking remuneration for the movie and it will be made at a modest budget of 18 crores with both the stars looking at share in profits.

The makers are planning to wrap up the shooting in one single schedule and release it soon to cash in on the hype generated. Believe or not the satirical entertainer has got its release date which shows the seriousness of the makers.

Come Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd, 2014 will see the most talked about Ori Devuda hitting the marquee. We hope the makers keep up with the time and the movie will arrive on time. There are rumors that either Ram Charan or Allu Arjun will do a special dance number with Tamanna Bhatia. Jr.NTR:

Jr.NTR is no doubt a good actor. No other heroes of his age can beat him in the heavy scenes and emotional sequences. He can easily carry those roles with lot of maturity.  But his family background and also as he looks somewhat similar to Sr.NTR (not in personality), brought him instant craze when he entered into the field. But exceptional acting skills and great dancing skills are his major plus. His major minus is his height and selection of stories.

Pawan Kalyan:

He is not a great actor, he is not good at emotional scenes. Attarintiki Daredi is the only film where he did some decent acting in the last 10 minutes. That might be due to age and experience. But over all he is not a great actor and not a good dancer. But why the super craze? Why he is ruling the Telugu box office in the recent times?  And his personal life also not something one can take as inspiration. But then why so called Pawanism went to peaks? That’s a million dollar question.

His care not attitude, simple dress appearance in public functions, Praja rajyam party, going rebel with his own brother, Having a great friend like Trivikram who praises Pawan when ever he gets an opportunity in public functions, all these some how brought instant craze in the recent times. Most of the CHiranjeevi’s fans are now Pawan’s fans. But yes, his only plus point is he is the handsome guy among Mega family heroes.

Mahesh Babu:

He is no doubt the most handsome guy in our Telugu film Industry(In south India too). But not only that, most of the super star Krishna’s loyal fan base took care of Mahesh to some extent.  He has decent acting skills, best examples are Murari, Nijam,Arjun,Dookudu, Pokiri.. Though he is bad in dance section, his comic timing, variation in dialog delivery, handsome looks are the main reasons for his great following and success.

Allu Arjun:

Stylist star, true to the name given to him, he maintains that in all his movies and most importantly the energy that he infuses in to the character is his major plus. Ease in acting skills, guy next door image brought him gradual craze. With average looks, and average acting skills he managed to be in the top league with hard work. Exceptional dancing skills are his major plus. Of course we can not deny the fact that mega hero brand and begin the son of Mega producer fetched him in the beginning.

Ram Charan:

I do not mind to rate him as a over hyped hero of Telugu film industry. He does not have good looks, poor acting skills, Magadheera I give credit to Rajamouli. Apart from Magadheera there is not film where he showed his acting prowess. Though his dances are good, not as good as that of Jr.NTR or Bunny. Being Chiranjeevi’s son is his only major plus till date.

Prabhas:

He is the real macho hero of Tollywood. With raw and rugged looks, sharp features made him most wanted bachelor of Tollywood. Again he is not a great actor and not even a decent dancer. His height, looks, physic are his major plus. Being the heir of Krishnam raju brought him instant craze but after that he made it by his own.  Now after Mahesh babu he is the only hero who has mass following among female audience.

I did not include Nani, Nithin, etc.. as they are not in the top league.

NTR is hot cake for the top directors in tinsel ville

It's common knowledge by now that Mahesh Babu, had thought of teaming up with director Puri Jaganndah, soon after his present commitment Aagadu with Srinu Vytla. But destiny has other plans for Mahesh. Owing to his contract with UTV films, Mahesh Babu has to begin working on their project with director Koratala Siva which was announced much earlier. With this, Puri Jagan has to wait for a while to direct Mahesh.

Puri, who is known for wrapping up projects at a breakneck speed, has decided to do a film before his project with Mahesh takes off. He is going to direct none other than Jr NTR. Puri and NTR, who haven't joined their forces after debacle of Andhrawala (ten years ago in 2004), have now decided to break that jinx. Puri has apparently narrated a story line to NTR who quite impressed with it.NTR has given a go-ahead to Puri, if rumour mills are anything to go by.

NTR, who is currently sweating out for Santosh Srinivas' Joru (tentative title), may finish it by the end of April. It's a cake walk for Puri to get ready by April as he finishes a script within 20 days. If all goes well, this project will go onto floors from May. It's not clear who is going to produce the film and other cast. So, NTR is first for Puri and Mahesh is second as per the commitments. Meanwhile, directors Sukumar, Koratala Siva and Vamsi Paidipally too busy weaving stories for NTR. Despite going through rough phase, NTR is hot cake for the top directors in tinsel ville.

Normally I hate myself to interfere in others personal matters, but a celebrity does not have anything personal when it comes to movies. Yes, as a fan of Nagarjuna, I have that right to express. Because Nagarjuna many times in audio functions said, fans are god, with out fans he is nothing etc.. so with that inspiration today I’m going to say few words.

Where is ‘Auto Nagar Surya’? How long does it take Nag sir? If you really a responsible father, you should make the way clear for its release. We all admit there are financial troubles for the film, but are you not in a position to save the film? are you not financially strong to help the makers and make a pave for its release?

After all it is your son’s movie. Think of the talented director Deva Katta and your son with no proper hits till date. What ever hits he got went into the heroines accounts so far. For the firs time Deva really made a realistic and mass film with class dialogues. We Nag fans feeling embarrassed with the delay of this film..

Earlier when same thing happened to the film ‘Dhee’, but then Mohan babu helped the makers for the sake of his son. Please do the same. Sincere request from Nag fans..

It is well known fact that Jr.NTR and Navdeep are best friends and it is witnessed at many occasions such as audio events or other private functions. NTR has give some important role to Navdeep in the film Badshaa. As per inside sources, since many days hero Navdeep is keen on producing a film with Jr.NTR as a hero. Navdeep’s career is not so encouraging in spite of his good acting skills.

Jr.NTR was so positive in giving his dates to his friend Navdeep but so far it is not confirmed. But now per reliable sources NTR confirmed the dates and blocked some part of his busy calender in 2015 for Navdeep.

Well, this sure looks like a boosting for the budding hero to en cash the craze of Jr.NTR in some or other way.

Yesteryear’s beautiful couple Mohan Babu and Jayasudha are doing in Rowdy movie under Ram Gopal Varma. Although there were rumors that its a remake of Bollywood movie Sarka, Varma quashed them and said Rowdy is a new story and plot. And the first poster might give us an impression that it is going to be a realistic movie with factionism as backdrop RGV clearly said it will be an entertainer with good blend of action as well!

And hearsays that the highlight of the movie will be a dance number between Mohanbabu and Jayasudha. The two are going to jig for Rangeela title song remix, we hear!

The news was confirmed by the senior actress Jayasudha who said, ” The most exciting part of the film is that I have done a song after a very long time. The song came out extraordinary well and I was thrilled and could not believe that I actually did it. I am sure my audience will love it.”

Rowdy also has Manchu Vishnu and Shanvi in the lead roles. The movie has done its shooting in record time of 18 days and we hope that the couple add beauty to the remix.

Wait for Akhil debut news surprise. Nagarjuna is gearing up to announce the launch of his second son Akkineni Akhil to TFI. Akhil has quite a following with girls and youth already with his chocolate boy looks and his stint with CCL has been impressive to attract the youth!

Buzz in the filmnagar circles say that Akhil will be launched by Srinu Vaitla and Nag feels to have the debut movie that could appeal to family audience will do a whole deal of good to Akhil’s career! It seems Nag doesn’t want to repeat mistake of poor planning that he has done with Chaitanya’s launch and is taking utmost interest and care when it came to Akhil’s launch!

Shruti’s love for singing is known. She has sung many songs before she debuted into acting and has released few albums as well!

However, best is that she continues to sing after becoming an actress. Recently she crooned a different number for Allu Arjun’s movie Race Gurram, and reportedly Bunny has performed an amazing dub-step dance for the song, Down Down Duppa.

And in no time she grabs the mic again to sing for Man Karate movie starring Siva Karthikeyan and Hansika! The music composer was Aniruddh of Kolaveri fame and he was thrilled at how the song turned out! Shruti’s planning is super, to continue sailing with legs on two boats! One needs to be Shruti to do that!

Satellite rights bails out PPT

Manchu family multi-starrer Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda was made at a whopping budget of 30 crores. Although the movie got a good talk it could not make business to that range that it could cover up the costs. And there are three Manchu heroes who did not take the remuneration for the movie as it is their home production

The movie was dubbed into Malyalam too and was released but it did just about okay there. And sadly the makers (24 Frames Factory) did not want to sell the rights for 20 crores. Which resulted in a situation where they could not recover the cost let alone profits.

But thanks to MAA Channel’s generosity, they bought the satellite rights of the movie for 4.25 crores which is superb compared to its box office stamina! Thanks to the MAA, the movie was bailed out.

Strict orders to not pick any heroine

Big hero Venkatesh is focusing on delivering good hits at any cost and his only ball is to depend on remakes. After grabbing 'Oh My God', Venky will be delivering 'Drishyam' (Malayalam movie) remake too. For that there seems to be huge requirement of actresses, with a condition though.
 
For Drishyam remake, already former heroine Meena is picked up to play Venkatesh's wife role. In a day or two, the matured hottie who is playing the role of lady cop is going to be finalized. It will be either Nadiya, the famous Attamma of Tollywood or Simran, ex-queen bee of Telugu cinema. Apart from these roles, most crucial roles in the movie are of two girls aged around 15 years, who play Venky-Meena's daughter. Right now search is on to pick girls through auditions, and we hear an interesting story about it.
 
In fact there are bunch of young heroines who are sharing screen space with new generation heroes at the moment. All such beauties will aptly suit Venky-Meena couple as their daughters. But it is heard that our family hero has given the makers strict orders to not pick any heroine, as playing dad to a heroine will hamper his solo hero flicks later

Story

Aha Kalyanam is the remake of Bollywood flick Band Baaja Baarat (2010) starring Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh. The story is about two youngsters Prithvi (Nani) and Shruthi (Vani) who dream of making it big in their wedding planning business. But the two have a rule they abide by; they will only remain business partners and nothing more. Predictably, Shruti breaks the rule but Prithvi is not interested. Will he realise his love for Shruthi or not forms the remaining part of the story.

Plot

Shruti aspires to become the leading wedding planner and to kick start her dream she joins the popular name in business Chandralekha (Simran) and Prithvi too joins the same lady but eventually the two realise that their employer is not honest in her business and they quit. Shruti and Prithvi begin their own bureau Gatti Melam. The two decide that they will not mix business with emotions.

But one freak kiss between the two ends up in bed and Shruthi falls in love! Prithvi however remains cold rather acts indifferent to Shruthi’s feelings and that results in the two partying ways. Eventually, the two realise that they make very good business partners and cannot work individually thus they get back together based purely on business relations. You will have to go and watch the film to know if Shruti and Prithvi go on to become life-partners or not!

Performances

The film is a bi-lingual and it is Vani’s debut in south film industry. However, Vani had made quite an impression with her super hot looks and acting skills with her B-town debut Shudh Desi Romance. And Vani has excelled with a good performance in Aha Kalyanam as well and so is Nani’s performance; in fact the film’s main highlight is the good performance by the lead actors. We have to make a special mention of Nani’s comic timing and witty dialogue delivery. Remaining cast of the film has a done a commendable job that support the lead pair perfectly.

Analysis

Good direction by Gokul Krishna, Habib Faizal’s absorbing screenplay, Rajiv Rajaram’s witty dialogues and good music by Dharan Kumar are the major attractions of the film apart from good performances. Considering the content of the film which revolves around organising the marriages the colourful costumes, excellent art direction and superb locations elevated the festivity and grandeur of the final product.

However a couple of hitches in the film are; too many songs in the first half and a few boring scenes in the second half contribute to the drawbacks of the film.

MnG verdict

The fact is that Aha Kalyanam is a bi-lingual and was actually made in Tamil and dubbed in Telugu, sp somewhere it lacks in communicating the local sentiments to the Telugu audience, let down for sure. But that is not to say Aha Kalyanam is a bad movie, it is good but not the best. And you can surely watch this rom-com with your family over the weekend.

Legend movie seems to be having many uniques. From being the first 40 crore budget movie for Balayya to Jagapathi Babu as antagonist the movie seems to be making news day in and out!

Latest about the heavy demand for the Legend satellite rights. There are over 200 movies under pressure to postponement releases because of unsold satellite rights, the Balakrishna starrer seems to be enjoying rare distinction of being the movie whose satellite rights are battled between TV entertainment channels.

According to sources both Gemini and MAA offered as much as 7-7.5 crores to acquire the satellite rights but the makers are still waiting for a better figure than the two offered!

They are reportedly looking at 8.5 crores considering the hype and good buzz it has been making Legend has started showing the magic before release and it seems even for the music rights some music companies are battling. The music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
