Due to her unprofessional behavior, no Telugu filmmaker is keen on signing her!

Venkatesh and Nayanthara starrer Babu Bangaram release is scheduled for August 12th. Apparently, the Maruthi directorial movie will see theaters on the date if and only if actress Nayanthara co-operates with the makers to wrap up the remaining portions.

As per reliable sources, Nayanthara hasn't given clarity over when can she allot call sheets. The actress who is hectic busy with handful of Tamil projects is not getting time to complete last schedule of Babu Bangaram. The makers are in tensions yet again as the release date is not far away.

Babu Bangaram release has been postponed countless times, because of Nayanthara. Although the actress recently promised the makers to join the shoot by July end or early in August is not giving any clarity for them. Nayan hadn't even attended the film's audio launch event took place in the month.

Due to her unprofessional behavior, no Telugu filmmaker is keen on signing Nayanthara for their new ventures. She was considered for several biggies such as Chiranjeevi's 150th film, Balakrishna's 100th movie Gautamiputra Satakarni etc. Nonetheless, she lost all the prestigious ventures owing to her busy schedules.

Rajamouli praises Small film "Pelli Coopulu"

Whenever a path breaking film releases in Tollywood, numero uno director Rajamouli will always be one of the first few celebs who openly appreciate the film. The director watches those films and gives his mini reviews on his social networking sites.

Last night, Rajamouli, after watching the latest small film which has impressed all the who's who of Tollywood and even film lovers, posted his reactions about the film on Facebook and Twitter.

Rajamouli said, "Enjoyed #Pellichupulu  so much..still in the same mood remembering all the beautiful moments from the film. Writing, direction, performances everything about the film is so engaging."

Jakkanna also praised the film's debut director and the main leads and supporting actors too. Not stopping here, Jakkanna went on to say that he wished Pelli Choopulu was playing in more number of theaters since "it really should". Well, no doubt that Pelli Choopulu will get a solid weekdays boost thanks to Rajamouli's praises. 

The person behind the Nag singing the song " Kotha Kotha Basha"!

Hero Nagarjuna crooned a peppy number 'Kotha Kotha Bhasha' in his home production venture Nirmala Convent which marks film debut of hero Srikanth's son Rohan. The song composed by Roshan Salur was sung originally by academic winner AR Rahman's son Ameen.

When the original song was being recorded, Nagarjuna was at the studio. The composer Roshan Salur heard Nagarjuna humming the catchy tune and lauded the actor for his singing skill. Then Roshan pitched the idea of recording the song in Nag's voice and the Soggade Chinni Nayana star told him 'why not'.

Although Nagarjuna sang a simple song about cigarette in Seetharama Raju, 'Kotha Kotha Bhasha' in Nirmala Convent is Nag's first attempt at singing professionally. The song is getting immense response. What's more, Nagarjuna is flooded with singing offers; however, he is not interested to take his new obsession seriously.

Nagarjuna is very much confident about Nirmala Convent directed by G Naga Koteswara Rao. "I want to keep trying something new all the time. It is the only way to grow," says he. Shriya Sharma who played child artist in several films will be seen opposite Roshan in the film which is slated for release soon. 

Kabali is no where near to Baahubali!

Super star Rajnikanth's 'Kabali' which released last Friday, opened to mixed talk. Nonetheless, thanks to Rajni's super stardom, it broke all the existing Day 1 records and collected over 80 crores worldwide. With this many thought that it would break 'Baahubali' records in no time.

But, the collections faced a huge drop from Tuesday and theatres were not getting filled. The film till now had a gross of over 172 crores in India and 90 crores abroad. After this week, the collection may reach 300 crores but it failed to reach 'Baahubali' records and will just reach half of its collections.

On the other hand, 'Kabali' producer Kalaipuli S Thanu said that they would make a sequel of 'Kabali' if Rajni permits. They have left the film unfinished for that purpose said the producer. We need to wait and see if this sequel goes on floors or not. 

Daily cost for Baahubali: The Conclusion!

A whopping 35 Lakh to 40 Lakh is being spent per day for the gigantic climax of Baahubali: The Conclusion, divulged a source in the know. Producers are said to be digging deep into their pockets and leaving no opportunity unturned to splurge on the film and ensuring a grand visual treat for viewers. What's more shocking is that this cost is excluding the stars fee, film's principal crew's remunerations, sets cost.

Given that thousands of junior artistes are working for the climax portion, their daily wages, food, the rents of high-end cameras, lights, other equipment, transportation of the workers, fuel charges and rents of vehicles and other miscellaneous expenditure together is to the tune of a staggering 35 to 40 Lakh per day. 

While the climax sequence of Baahubali: The Beginning had costed some 15 Crore, the makers have just doubled the expenditure for the sequel as the climax of Baahubali: The Conclusion alone would be 30 Crore, i.e the budget of a big-ticket Tollywood film. Since Baahubali has become a global film and no longer a regional film and gained cult admiration cutting across borders, producers too not thinking twice to spend the monies.

SS Rajamouli is working vigorously on the film and is said to be keen on releasing the film on time this time without any delays like the first part. The epic film is slated for April 14, 2017 release.

He is one of the top directors and recently delivered a super hit film. She is an anchor, recently forayed into films and waiting for good roles. The duo was recently spotted together at a star hotel and both were seen at very ease, cozy. As soon as she came to the hotel, she hugged the director and onlookers said both went to director's private room and spent quality time.

The actress is apparently eyeing good roles and wanting to make it big. So she is said to be making the director happy. The director recently parted ways with a top heroine and turned jilted. So he is looking for some relief which seems to be compensated by the actress.

Whopping 75 crores for a politician's son!

No other star kid's silver screen debut might have made so much noise like Jaguar, the debut film of former Indian PM Deve Gowda's grandson and former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Kumar, did.

Apart from the high profile political background of his father and grandfather, Nikhil's Telugu-Kannada bilingual debut film became popular as the most expensive debut film of a star kid down south as Kumaraswamy is shelling out a whopping 75 crores on the project.

On sunday, Jaguar's teaser launch event took place in Hyderabad with Nikhil himself presenting at the do. Nikhil's stale and unimpressive looks in the teaser raised caution and many are wondering if his father, a leading producer in Sandalwood, is risking 75 crores on his son.

Nikhil didn't have the features of a typical hero as he looks more like a boy next door. It'll be interesting to see how Tollywood audiences will receive him upon the film's release.

To give the credit where it's due, the teaser looks spectacular and the lavish production values are clearly evident in each and every shot. Let's hope that the content will click with the masses and they themselves will lap up the debut hero with open hearts. 

Mega fans frustrated with Mannara!

The speech of heroine Mannara Chopra at the audio launch of Thikka the other day seems to have put mega hero Sai Dharam Tej in spot. In fact, the other members of unit too disappointed with the speech of Mannara who repeatedly talked about how Jakkanna was successful and how audiences receiving Jakkanna well.

If this isn't enough, Mannara went on further and said she wants same response to Thikka like Jakkanna. This definitely didn't go well with Thikka unit. Also Mannara preferred to talk about her mother, family and spoken little about Thikka, Sai Dharam Tej.

There's no secret that Jakkanna which released this week got poor word of mouth and negative reviews. Despite that Mannara claiming to be movie was successful and going ahead and stating that she want same response to Thikka is a bit embarrassing to Sai Dharam Tej and mega fans.

Looks like, Mannara still new to industry, she has to learn a lot and should work on her speaking skills. Probably, Mannara should hire a speech writer.

Jackie Chan released the poster of Abhinetri

Promotions play key role for small to medium range films. Tollywood villain Sonu Sood is not leaving any stone unturned to generate buzz for his maiden production venture 2 in 1 which is Hindi version of Tamannah Bhatia starrer Trilingual film titled Abhinetri in Telugu and Devil in Tamil.

It is a known fact that, Sonu Sood is making Hollywood debut with an action adventure comedy film Kung Fu Yoga co-starring Jackie Chan. The Hollywood action hero has unveiled first look poster of 2 in 1 for his good friend Sonu Sood. Jackie Chan's hand in promotions will certainly hype buzz on the film.

Sonu Sood lost his father in February this year had been avoiding all celebrations. He floated his film company Shakti Sagar Productions in the name of his father, Shakti Sagar Sood. Sonu Sood turned emotional during the poster launch. He thanked Jackie Chan for endorsing his film by taking part in poster launch.

Apart from producing the film, Sonu Sood is also playing an important role along with Prabhu Deva. Directed by AL Vijay, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release in three languages on 9th September.

Pelli choopulu making waves in overseas

A small time film Pelli Choopulu made of Rs 80 lakhs budget strikes gold at overseas box office. The film grossed $57,520 on Friday, taking total to $74,862 for two days. As per trade pundits, the movie will perform far better on Saturday and Sunday. 

The Tharun Bhaskar directed romantic entertainer film got positive response and word of mouth is helping it going from strength to strength from second day itself. Surely, Pelli Choopulu will provide huge profits to overseas distributors. It's a rare phenomenon that a small time film making waves in overseas.

Star producer Suresh Babu who liked the film had acquired theatrical rights of the film for Rs 1.5 crores. Although the movie was released in limited number of theaters, screens count is expected to be increased in overseas and Telugu states in a couple of days.

Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma played lead roles in the film produced jointly by Raj Kandukuri, Yash Rangineni and Vinoothna Geetha. Chances are high for the film making exceptional business in 'A' centers, owing to class narration.

In fact, the makers innovative promotions of screening continuous premiere shows every day for several sections has helped the movie getting positive talk before release. 

Films with good content will always be encouraged by movie buffs and Pelli Choopulu is another example for this. 

Trailer review: Thikka

The theatrical trailer of Sai Dharam Tej's latest film Thikka is out along with the film's audio album last night. Surprisingly, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was expected to attend the audio launch gave the event a miss.

Just like the teaser which released a couple of weeks ago, even the trailer is beautifully shot and the film promises to be a comic riot. Sai Dharam Tej has come out of his mass avatar and tried out something new and experimental for the first time in his career.

Thikka's trailer doesn't reveal much about the film's plot except that Sai  plays the role of a youngster who is going through a break up. With least 4, 5 female actresses making blink and miss appearances, the confusion gets even deeper.

With the Thikka dosage going slightly over the top and the trailer hinting a completely unusual cinematic experience from the routine commercial entertainers, it'll be interesting to see how the audiences will lap up the Mega hero's 'Thikka' on August 13.

Actress Radhika Apte is undoubtedly one of the finest artists in India. She won praises for her emotional performance in recently released film Kabali which starred superstar Rajinikanth. The actress was not seen anywhere endorsing this film.

Elated with success of Kabali, Radhika Apte says her busy schedules with a Bollywood action-horror movie titled Ghoul is reason for not getting time to promote Kabali. She tendered apology to the filmmakers and superstar fans for the same.

In fact, Radhika Apte never worried promoting any of her south films, especially Telugu films. She hardly attended audio or other promotional events of her Telugu films. In Telugu, she acted in several films such as Legend, Lion, Rakta Charitra etc. She is not getting much offers in Telugu owing to her careless attitude.

On the flip side, Radhika Apte is taking utmost care on her Bollywood films. She endorsed even her short films like Ahalya and Kriti there. Few opine that, Radhika Apte who skipped Kabali promotions has tendered apology, since it starred Rajinikanth. If not the superstar, she wouldn't have cared even talking about this film too, adds they. 

Pawan Kalyan Requests his best friend for Cherry?

Pawan Kalyan floated own production house Pawan Kalyan Creative Works to make medium to high range films. His last movie Sardaar Gabbar Singh was the first production venture from the banner.

Pawan Kalyan will next be making a film with Ram Charan under the production house. For this film, the 'Gabbar Singh' star has asked his friend Trivikram Srinivas to prepare a subject. If things materialize, the movie to be directed by Trivikram himself, would start rolling sometime in 2017.

Pawan considers Trivikram as his closest friends. The duo previously delivered two hits- Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi will be joining hands for third time for a new film which is expected to go on sets from November, this year. Post completion of this film, Trivikram is expected to take up Ram Charan's film.

Ram Charan has mostly teamed up with mass directors. In order to please class and family audience, Charan is trying to associate with class directors. The Magadheera' star is presently doing Dhruva, Thani Oruvan remake, under Surender Reddy's direction.

Even Amala paul faced as a common women and decided to ?

Speculations are rife that, actress Amala Paul and her director husband AL Vijay have decided to part ways after two years of their marriage. Apparently, all is well between the star couple, pressure and harassment from Vijay's family led them to split.

Reports say that, Vijay's parents harassed Amala Paul insisting her to quit films. In an interview, Vijay's father Alagappan lashed out at Amala Paul saying she had failed to make her promise which she made before marriage. According to him, Amala told them to bid adieu to films after marriage, but she is not stopping signing new films.

Since Vijay's parents were against Amala acting in films after marriage, she decided to take a break from films. Nonetheless, she had to complete shooting for few films that she had committed to do before the marriage. 

Vijay was quite supportive though. Even when there were gossips linking Amala with her co-stars, Vijay didn't let any of that affect their relationship. But his family constantly pressured her with implicating questions about her career and personal life. Since there seemed to be no other solution in sight, they both decided to go in for a divorce, according to the reports.

Amala Paul and AL Vijay collaborated for couple of films such as Nanna and Anna (Thaliavaa in Tamil), before getting married. While Vijay is presently busy with a trilingual film Abhinetri starring Tamannah and Prabhu Deva, Amala Paul is simultaneously working for a Kannada film Hebbuli and a Tamil movie Vada Chennai.

The blockbuster success of Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Boyapati Sreenivas' summer mass masala treat, Sarrainodu, is a huge surprise to fans and trade circles. Produced by Allu Aravind, Sarrainodu released in April to utterly poor reviews and terrible word of mouth.

Critics and audiences panned the film's routine and lackluster content and people even wondered if the high dosage of action elements will prove detrimental to the film being discarded by family audiences.

However, the film braved the mixed talk, utilised the summer advantage to the fullest and even gave a 'Sarraina' punch to critics by collecting more than 75 crores worldwide share, becoming the 4th highest earner in Tollywood's history. The film set non-Baahubali records in entire AP, Vizag, West Godavari and Kerala. 

After Akhil, it's Mahesh!

Many names were heard for heroine of superstar Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss's film was launched yesterday with formal pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. Parineeti Chopra, Keerthy Suresh, Shraddha Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal etc were considered for the film.

As per reports, yesteryear actress Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi was approached for the film. Nonetheless, Sridevi rejected the offer saying her daughter is not ready to take up the project which would mark the young girl's film debut. Then, the film is finally offered to Rakul Preet Singh.

Currently, Jhanvi is undergoing training in dance and other departments require for a heroine in a popular institute in Los Angeles, US. Sridevi wants her daughter to be launched only after being trained completely. Moreover, Sridevi is willing Jhanvi's debut to happen in Bollywood. But, what can be best other than Mahesh's film?

Sridevi rejected few offers in the past too. There were reports of Jhanvi to cast opposite Akkineni Akhil in the young lad's heroic debut film Akhil. However, Sayyesha Saighal was offered the film which tanked at box office.

Interim, Mahesh Babu will join shooting of his untitled film which went on floors yesterday itself. The film that will have a social message will be made of a massive budget of Rs 90 crores. Murugadoss is expected to present Mahesh in brand new avatar. 

Ram's new movie tittle"Hyper"

Young and energetic hero Ram's film in Santosh Srinivas direction has been officially titled as Hyper with the tagline of 'Prati Intlo Okaduntadu'. The title and the tagline represent hero Ram's characterization of arrogance nature in the film being produced under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment.

Ram is in full swing with success of his last outing Nenu Sailaja. He is back to action mode with the new film Hyper which is fast progressing with its shoot in Hyderabad. First look poster of the film will be unveiled on August 3rd. The makers have also announced to release the movie on September 30th on the eve of Dussehra.

This is second film in Ram and Santosh Srinivas combination. They previously delivered a super hit Kandireega. Rashi Khanna who previously had romanced Ram in Shivam is female in Hyper for which music is by Ghibran.

As per the makers, Hyper will elevate Ram's energy levels in next level. Ram is also quite confident about the film providing him a commercial hit.

Kajal or Tamannah? For NTR!

Young Tiger NTR's Janatha Garage has reached the fag end of its shooting part. On August 1st, the team will can a song in the picturesque locales of Kerala. Soon after they return to Hyderabad, the unit will shoot the balance item song.

Contrary to the ongoing reports that Milky Beauty Tamannaah will pair up with NTR in the item song, the makers have just announced that Kajal Aggarwal will groove alongside the Young Tiger in the item song.

It is still unclear if Tamannaah was ever approached for the item song and what made the makers replace her with Kajal if she was indeed considered earlier.

In the past, Kajal and NTR were seen in Brindavanam, Temper and Badshah. We'll have to wait until September 2nd to see how the hit pair will set the screens on fire with their energetic steps.

Thikka is also a remake by Sunil

Young mega hero Sai Dharam Tej's Thikka is all set for release on August 13th. The film's theatrical trailer released recently to decent response. It is heard that, the film directed by Sunil Reddy will have shades of Hollywood film Hangover. 

Allari Naresh's experimental film Action 3D was remake of Hangover, but only the line story was taken as inspiration to make Thikka. Sai Dharam Tej along with few friends batch goes on vacation and what consequences they face because of deep hangover forms crux of story.

Incidentally, director Sunil Reddy's debut flick Om 3D and Hangover's Telugu remake Action 3D went on floors almost at same time. Unfortunately, both the films bombed at box office. Sunil has taken only line of Hangover story to make Thikka. Sheik Dawood G has provided story and screenplay of the film.

Produced by Rohin Reddy under his banner Sri Venkateswara Movie Makers, Thikka features Larissa Bonesi and Mannara Chopra in the lead roles and music for the film is composed by SS Thaman. As per a buzz, Thikka made of whopping budget of Rs 18 crores will have an unexpected twist.

Nikhil - Swathi starrer 'Swamy Ra Ra' was one of the trendsetting crime comedies in the past 10 years. It turned the fate of actor Nikhil and after that he became a minimum guarantee hero. Director Sudheer Varma became a star director over night. Now, reports say that 'Swamy Ra Ra' combo will be working together once again.

Nikhil's last film 'Shankarabharanam' was declared as a disaster. Even Sudheer's last film with Naga Chaitanya 'Dochay' was a colossal failure. After the failure, Sudheer became idle for an year. Now, he recently narrated a story and impressed Nikhil as per sources. Recently, Abhishek Pictures announced five projects under their banner and this film is one among them. With both Nikhil and Sudheer confirming the news, fans are getting crazy over this project.

Known for her straight forwardness, talented actress Nitya Menon faced many troubles because of that. During her early days in the industry, when quizzed about Prabhas, she asked 'Who was he?' which became a huge controversy. Looks like, she is getting into trouble again.

Recently, in an interview, when asked, 'You worked with both NTR and Bunny. So explain about working with them'. She replied that they had tremendous energy and are great dancers. She drew comparison between them unwantedly by saying that she liked Jr.NTR dances more. This ignited the spark on social media. Hope it doesn't become a big controversy.

Another Huge budget film as trilingual?

Tamil director Sunder C will next be making a historical drama film with a budget bigger than that of ace director SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film Baahubali. Suriya, Vijay and Mahesh Babu names are in the probable list for lead role in the film which is officially titled as Sanghamitra.

Sri Thenandal Films will produce the film. AR Rahman, Sudeep Chatterjee, Sabu Cyril and Kanal Kannan are finalized to handle music, camera, art and graphics departments respectively. 

As per a grapevine, Sanghamitra will be shot in India, America, Denmark, Ukraine, Iran and 6 other countries. No Indian film was shot more than half a dozen countries, but Sanghamitra team will tour almost 11 countries to shoot the film.

Director Sunder C clarified that; they haven't finalized any actor for their film, however informed to rope in prominent faces who can suite script. 'We have already completed script works. Currently, concept designing process is happening,' affirmed the director in an interview.

Sangamitra, the most ambitious project of Sunder C will be made as Telugu, Tamil and Hindi trilingual with an estimated budget of Rs 350 Crores. 

SSS release date given way to postpone Premam release date?

The makers of Naga Chaitanya and Manjima Mohan starrer film Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo are planning to release their film on August 19th. Actually, Chaitu's other film Premam was scheduled for release on that date. Now, it is allotted to Gautam Menon's directorial venture which was postponed numerous times.

Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is second film in Naga Chaitanya and Gautam Menon's combination after the super hit of Ye Maaya Chesave. If this film which had music by AR Rahman had released on time, it would definitely make huge impact at box office, because of the crazy combination.

Gautam Menon made SSS as bilingual in Telugu and Tamil with Simbu playing lead role in the Tamil version. First look poster and teaser of the film released on the eve of Nagarjuna's 56th birthday had got good response. Nonetheless, the makers failed to create any hype on the project from there on. They postponed the film continuously which created doubts over the project. Then, an unimpressive trailer caused further damage.

On the other hand, Premam is in last leg of shooting. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film has Shruti Haasan, Anupama Parameswaran and Madonna Sebastian playing female leads. The coming of age romantic entertainer is now pushed to September with entry of SSS into August. 

Tittle for Chiru's 150th movie

Mega Star Chiranjeevi's 150th film has been in news from longtime. The film is often hitting headlines for every other reason. And ever since the film is officially announced, it's title has been a subject of discussion.

After the names like Kathilanthodu, Khaidi No. 150 did rounds, one more name has popped up i.e Napoleon. It's being buzzed in social media and film circles that Napoleon is the title being considered for Chiru's 150th.

Meanwhile, the hunt for leading lady is still on and makers seem to be breaking their heads in finalising heroine opposite Chiru. With Chiru already making it clear that he has left the choice to director Vinayak and producer Ram Charan, all eyes are on who'll bag the chance to pair up with Chiru in this comeback film. Even mega fans are waiting for the film's official title and heroine's name with bated breath. At the moment, the suspense continues.

Venkatesh's upcoming hilarious entertainer Babu Bangaram will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Tamil as Selvi (which means Miss) on August 12th. Bhadrakali Films has acquired the rights for Tamil Nadu to release both the versions in the state.

Nayanthara who is a star heroine in Tamil right now is the only hope for the Tamil distributors, since Venkatesh is not a well-known star there. Few of Venkatesh films were dubbed and released in the past in Tamil, none were considerable hits there.

Nayanthara is in best form with back to back hits in Tamil. She is the highest paid actress in south. If a grapevine is to be believed, Nayan is demanding Rs 4 crores to sign new films. 

So, Tamil distributors are daring to release Babu Bangaram in the neighborhood state, to cash on her popularity. What's more, they are promoting the Maruthi directorial as a female centric film, it seems.

Interim, Babu Bangaram is in last leg of shooting. As we all know, the film which was initially scheduled for release in summer got postponed numerous times, only because of Nayanthara who troubled the makers by not attending shootings on scheduled dates.

Krishna Vamsi who once was praised as creative director has lost creativity in making of his recent films. When Ram Charan gave him big opportunity with Govindudu Andarivadele, he couldn't fully make use of it and made another worthless film. 

Now, the director is making a medium budget film Nakshatram with young hero Sundeep Kishan in lead role. Regina Cassandra who is not getting many offers in Telugu is female lead in the movie.

It is heard that, Krishna Vamsi and Sundeep are doing the film on a deal. The producers have given Rs 8 cr package for Krishna Vamsi to ready first copy of the film. If the budget exceeds, KV will have to spend his own money to wrap up things. 

Krishna Vamsi will get almost 50% shares from profits, after its theatrical outing and if he can make the movie within the budget he will be double safe. And his hero Sundeep who wasn't paid a penny as remuneration or advance amount, as per sources, will get his share too from profits.

It may be mentioned here that, Sundeep Kishan did his last movie Run on share basis from profits. Unfortunately, this movie which is remake of Malayalam super hit Neram tanked at box office.

The film Nakshatram is about a young man who wants to become a police officer, informed Krishna Vamsi in the past. The director will next helm Balakrishna's 101st film. But, to get that project, he needs to deliver hit with Nakshatram. 

No one dares to buy Sunil's "Jakanna"!

In what is considered as a major set back, comedian-turned-hero Sunil's forthcoming film Jakkanna may not see the light of the day in overseas market. Poor buzz and Sunil's flop saga is reason behind it and apparently no one in the overseas market is daring to buy the film.

There are no takers for the film in overseas. Though there's a stiff competition in abroad for the distribution of Telugu films of late and the competition is high even for small-hero films, shockingly Sunil's Jakkanna have no takers.

Especially Sunil's last film Krishnashtami was bought in overseas for around Rs 80 Lakh. And much to the dismay, the film even failed to recover its expenses, publicity cost. The distributors suffered heavy losses and no one come to their rescue.This is now said to have telling affect on Jakkanna. Looks like, Sunil's Jakkanna may not hit the screens on July 29 simultaneously with India. Unless the movie receives good talk and positive reviews here, the film may not be released in overseas.

Sunil, who is going through a lean phase, had his last solo success four years ago - Poola Rangadu (2012). He got three poor hits in form of Mr Pellikodudu, Bhimavaram Bullodu and Krishnashtami. He is now pinning all hopes on his next. It's now or never for situation for Sunil. He has to prove himself to continue as hero. 

Harshavardhan Rane and Danush in remake of classic Garshana!

Handsome hero Harshavardhan Rane failed to make his mark in Tollywood is making waves in Bollywood. He already acted in two films- Satra Ko Shaadi Hain, Sanam Teri Kasam in Hindi and now he got much bigger offer there.

Harshavardhan Rane is confirmed to play one of the lead roles in Bollywood remake of Maniratnam's yesteryear classic film Gharshana. Dhanush will play other lead role in the film to be directed by Bejoy Nambiar of Wazir fame. Danush reprises Karthik, whereas Rane will portray Prabhu's role.

Gharshana is actually dubbed version of Tamil film Agni Natchathiram. It was a runaway hit in both Telugu and Tamil. The film was remade in Hindi as Vansh starring Siddharth Ray and Sudesh Berry.

Ghrshana is about two half-brothers who come into conflict with each other in their claim for legitimacy as sons of a common father. The subject can do wonders at any era, if it is made precisely with right emotions.

On the other hand, this will be third film for Dhanush in Bollywood. He made impressive debut there with Raanjhana opposite Sonam Kapoor. His second film Shamitabh was a debacle. The yet to be titled movie will go on floors in August. We need to see how far Bejoy Nambiar handles this intense subject! 

Big headache for Cherry and Chiru!

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his Kathilantodu filmmakers are finding difficult to finalize heroine. Top starlets like Nayanthara and Anushka were approached for the film. Nonetheless, they couldn't sign them since both the heroines are busy with prior commitments. 

Then, Kajal Agarwal name was heard. Although Kajal is going through lean phase, she is getting good offers off late. The actress recently gave nod for Ajith's 57th film to be helmed by Siva. Hence, even Kajal can't allocate call sheets for Chiru's 150th film.

Directed by Vinayak is already done with two shooting schedules and new shooting schedule will begin soon. So far, they have canned prison and other important sequences on Chiranjeevi and few other prominent artists including Ali.

Seems like, the makers would bring in a fresh face or two, three films old heroine for the film, since no star heroine in Telugu is free to sign it. So, whoever gets the chance is the luckiest for getting to work with the megastar.

Chiranjeevi's son and actor Ram Charan is prestigiously producing the film under Konidela Productions Banner. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering tunes. The movie is expected to release for sankranthi in 2017.

Chiru took sudden break from shooting!!

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been shooting nonstop for his most eagerly awaited comeback film. This as-yet-untitled film’s shoot was underway on the outskirts of Hyderabad and the unit was canning the crucial village episodes featuring Chiru and other actors.

This morning, Chiru took a sudden break from the film’s shooting and left for New Delhi to take part in the ongoing monsoon sessions of the Parliament, following a whip issued by the Congress party to all its MPs.

Chiru was asked to vote in favour of the Private Member Bill introduced in the Rajya Sabha by senior Congress MP KVP. The Megastar will resume shooting soon after he completes the voting process.

Nagarjuna is super confident about this project

Srikanth’s son, Roshan is making his movie debut with the film Nirmala Convent and Akkineni Nagarajuna is producing this film and is also doing a cameo.

Latest reports reveal that Nag recently aw a special screening of the film and was quite happy with the way the project shaped up. Sources close to him say that he is super confident that the project will do extremely well with the audience.

Naga Koteswara Rao directs this youthful love story which will hit the screens in August.

In his second innings, Jagapathi Babu is learning!!

Senior hero turned most sought after character artiste cum villain Jagapathi Babu has expanded his horizon by signing plum roles opposite leading stars in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam movie industries.

The actor is currently shooting with Ilayathalapathi Vijay60. Speaking to a popular media house recently, Jagapathi Babu said that working on big budget films teaches him more about life and make him a better human being.

Jaggu Bhai, as he’s fondly called, says that he learns a lot by working on big projects and meeting great people. The actor further said that he is learning how to stay grounded from all the stars he is working with.

Is director's inexperience made kabli a disaster?

Dashing the high hopes surrounding the film, Rajinikanth's just-released Kabali poured cold water on the fan's expectations. Lazily-written script and poorly conceived scenes have made the film a big let down that even die-hard fans have left highly disappointed. Writer-director Pa Ranjith committed very basic flaws let alone the film's story, screenplay that are wafer-thin, lackluster.

Right from the cast (except the film's lead cast Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Nassar), the film has several shortcomings. PA Ranjith's inexperience is conspicuous as he recruited little known or unknown cast for prominent roles and that left viewers disconnect from the film. Attention to minute details is always good. But giving more attention than it needed definitely don't go well. That's what happened for Kabali. 

This isn't all. There's more. The characters which really don't have much importance with the story have given more prominence and the final outcome is a damp squib. Inconsistency in the characterizations is at heights in the film. Also, there's no much heroism in the film that's usually seen in Rajini film. Given his super-stardom and humongous fan base, one can't miss Rajini's heroic acts, one-liners. 

Had Ranjith corrected the aforementioned things, the film would have been a better one. 

Hot girl ready to heat up the Garage?

Looks like Tamanna is turning a serious threat to item dancers who bring the heat with their hip moves and sexy looks. Tamanna is on a signing spree when it comes to item songs and yet again she signed for an item song. 

Tamanna is all set to sizzle in an item song with NTR in Janatha Garage. It is truly a surprise entry of Tamanna, when there are beautiful ladies like Samantha and Nitya Menon already on board. Tamanna agreed immediately when makers asked her for it and the shooting is yet to begin. 

Tamanna earlier matched steps with Bellamkonda Srinivas's two films and she signed for an item song with Gopichand in Sampath nandi's film. Now that she will heat up the garage with item song, wait for it.
