Venkatesh to debut in TV Game show?

After the super success of Nagarjuna's first ever TV show, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu, it is said that his peer and the other senior hero, Victory Venkatesh is also on the verge of making his TV debut. Sources inform that Venkatesh is in talks with a production house to venture in to TV with a Game Show. We are said that the game show design is already locked and few rehearsals were also made on the actor.

The producers say the game details and format will be kept as a secret for now. They are expected to begin the shooting of this show in February. The actor is so interested in this show that he vowed not to shift to his other film shooting until the shooting of this TV show's first season is complete. Venkatesh is on a high in 2014 by making a strong comeback with Drishyam.

Pawan Kalyan would be seen playing the role of God whereas Venkatesh will be seen as an atheist who sues him

VHP starts it's ?, on Gopala Gopala

Vishva Hindu Parishad, an Indian right-wing Hindu nationalist non-governmental organization based on the ideology of Hindutva has staged protest against Gopala Gopala movie. VHP staged a protest in front of the Censor Board Office at Masab Tank demanding that the movie should not be given Censor certificate and should made sure that it is not released as it hurts the sentiments of Hindus.

Gopala Gopala is the official Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster, OMG:Oh My God in which Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a god while Venkatesh will be seen as an atheist who sues god for a god made disaster (Earth Quake) which makes him lose his shop. The movie takes big at several Hindu rituals and superstitions in the name of god men.

This protests for now will bring the much needed publicity to the film in audience as TV channels give wide coverage to them and the movie. It is said that the censor will take place on January 2nd. The makers are planning to release the movie on January 9th as Sankranthi special. Mithun Chakraborty will be making Telugu debut with the crucial God man character. Thadaka fame Dolly is wielding megaphone for this project. Pawan Kalyan's friend, Sharath Marar on his North Star Entertainments and Suresh Babu on his Suresh Productions Banner are jointly producing the movie. Anup Rubens will be composing the music.

‘I’ the last Indian film to be shot on the 35 mm celluloid

Mr. Perfectionist director Shankar’s latest high budget visual extravaganza ‘I’ will be the last major Indian film to be shot on the 35 mm celluloid format. Speaking at the film’s Hindi audio launch in Mumbai, the film’s cinematographer PC Sreeram himself revealed this fact. This is indeed an emotional moment for all the cinematographers and film lovers, since they will miss watching films that are shot on film.

Already, the digital revolution has taken over the traditional film method thanks to its cost effective and smooth workflow nature. These days, most of the films across the country are being shot digitally either on Red or Arri Alexa or even the Canon 5D DSLR cameras. The breathtaking visuals in the trailer of Shankar’s ‘I’ have already mesmerised film lovers.

The film’s Telugu version will have its audio launch today and the film itself is gearing up for a grand Sankranthi release.

Charan helped in patching up of both Vaitla and Kona

The relation between ace director Sreenu Vaitla and noted writer duo Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan had hit rough weather during Baadshah credits. Since then Kona duo and Vaitla have parted ways. While Kona's success streak continues unabated, Sreenu Vaitla's Aagadu was declared Box Office disaster. This naturally has a telling effect on Sreenu's future projects including the movie with Ram Charan. Although both Ram Charan and director Sreenu Vaitla are keen to team up, Charan apparently not convinced with Sreenu's story and asked him to come up with better one. Days passing by and Sreenu couldn't come up with impressing story, even Charan put this project aside.

Meanwhile, writer Kona Venkat became close to Charan. It can also be noted that Kona had accompanied Ram Charan during his visit to director VV Vinayak's house to console for his loss of mother. At a right-time, writer duo Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan narrated a novel yet entertaining story to Charan to which he immediately given his go ahead. For this film, Ram Charan wants director Sreenu Vaitla on board. Considering that Vaitla and Kona had serious personal issues that might not reunite them, none other than Mega Power Star Ram Charan stepped into the issue to become peacemaker. It is learnt that Charan helped in patching up of both Vaitla and Kona.

In fact, Kona had publicly stated on several TV shows that he has no personal grudge on Sreenu Vaitla and what happened was only because of differences. With Charan's interference, even director Sreenu Vaitla said to have no issues with Kona team and agreed to move on from the past and bury the hatchet. Thanks to Ram Charan, recently both Sreenu Vaitla and Kona met and discussed over the project. We hear that it is shaping up well. If all goes well, the project would take off very soon. An official announcement regarding this is awaited. So, get ready for the feast of Sreenu-Kona combo.

RGV's another publicity stunt, against Rajnikanth,Jayalalitha

The best publicity stunt director Ram Gopal Varma, who is quite popular for his controversial remarks and tweets, is at it again. Heaping praises on Tamil director and  Mr Perfectionist Shankar, Ramu stated that he is bigger than the likes of stalwarts Rajinikanth and former CM Jayalalithaa. "After seeing " I " trailer purely as a general common outsider I feel Shanker is bigger than Jayalalitha and Rajnikanth in Tamilnadu," wrote RGV.

Rajini is like God in Tamil Nadu and Jayalalithaa is Amma of the State, no matter Rajini's films Lingaa and Kochadaiiyaan might have tanked at Box Office and even Jayalalithaa might be going through difficult phase of her career as she is charged with possessing illegal assets, but that can't deter their popularity among humongous fan base. Is RGV's over praised Shankar as he liked I trailer a lot or is he again trying to repeat his usual trick of publicity stunt?

Fans created a panic to Prince Mahesh

This will happen if a Super star visits a private party, even though if he visits in secret. Superstar Mahesh Babu was recently in Bandar to attend a private event. With the news of Mahesh's arrival spreaded like a wild-fire, fans across Bandar and Vijayawada flocked to the venue creating a kind of panic. Mahesh fans went berserk to catch a glimpse of their favourite matinee idol. Mahesh has come at around 12.30 PM and spent for two hours in a star hotel.

Mahesh Babu enjoys a great fan base in Krishna district. Right from the beginning of his career, his films have done well in Vijayawada and other parts of Krishna district apart from other districts. Even Mahesh has a special bonding with the district and he himself revealed this on several public platforms. In fact, Mahesh's father yesteryear superstar Krishna too had considerable fan base in Krishna district which shifted towards Mahesh.

Rajamouli released tension from his fans heart

Those of you who have been kept track and noticed the way the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli works, one would agree if we say he works like a 'Karmayogi', a man who just goes about doing his job without looking for result. In this process, he is now immersed in the shaping of the magnum opus 'Baahubali'.

Now, many speculations and confusions were making rounds among fans of young rebel star Prabhas who is doing the lead role. They were a little anxious whether the film would release in 2015 since it is being made in two parts and a lot of work is reportedly pending. But Rajamouli has wiped out all those tensions.

Well, the latest set of posters and stills that are coming from 'Baahubali' are coming with the number 2015. This goes to show that the film is expected next year. As such, there is the date given as April 17th, 2015 so if that is indeed the D-day then it would be a feast for everyone but for now, with the mentioning of the year, Rajamouli has created a lot of happiness for Prabhas fans.

Anjali's next movie is not Epic, it's Comedy

'Anjali is currently in the United States filming for Ashok's movie. It's a thriller story with loads of screenplay', said a source working on the movie. When quizzed about the launching of the movie, it is revealed that already shooting of the flick got started in November itself. 'We have started to shoot in America from November and will continue here till January 10th', unit members said. For folks who are curious about what Anjali's next flick is, maybe this news will make them happy. Though our Razole girl is not doing epic, her comedy is enough to spin magic at box office.

Will "I-Manoharudu" release in Sankranthi season?

As Said, Shankar's prestigious flick 'I- Manoharudu' will be surely hitting screens for Pongal. This statement could be held true in case of Tamil version's release but chances of Telugu dubbed version's release are looking bleak. We hear that few secret forces are in fact working against the release of this magnum opus, due to their personal reasons.

In fact, there is rule in existence in Telugu Film Industry that no dubbing film should be allowed to release during a prime season like Sankranthi and Dasara and they should not be set in race with big-ticket straight Telugu movies. That's why 'I' found it tough for Telugu release as earlier Temper (January 9) and Gopala Gopala (January 14) have fixed their dates. But with Jr NTR's movie going out of the foray, 'I' has jumped into scene and started selling theatrical rights in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Since PK is the second venture from the combo Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani after their blockbuster 3 Idiots, naturally expectations are way too hight and the film is this year's most awaited film. PK is finally out in theatres with a thunderous response.

Hema: I have lost several offers because of Brahmi annayya

This is surely a shocking news to the fans of comedy King Brahmanandham. It seems that Brahmanandham being a senior artist have to guide the beginners and so should recommend their name for movies, but instead of recommending he has been rejecting actress Hema for more than 5 films in a row.

Actress Hema claimed, "I lost several offers after directors and producers roped me in. Several directors told me that Brahmanandam Annayya didn't want to act with me and asked me to replace with another artiste. When I had questioned him about this, Brahmananadam Annayya said he never said so but said perhaps budget issues could have been the reason. I initially didn't take it to heart."

She went on saying "But this is not one instance or one role. It has repeated for four to five films in a row. It's when I got irritated and got angry on him. I didn't ask him again but because of this, even I stayed away from him. When I was sharing the same with a media person, he apparently told this to Brahmanandam Annayya and he instantly called me. I said yes I told him. But he said he is innocent."

Hema also said "It's been a while we acted together. And am not sure whether we'd completely ditch our differences or not. I think Brahmanandam Annayya and I still have this in our heart." So, what do you think about this issue? What is the reason of rejection of Brahmanandham?

Nag doesn't like the word Tollyword

Shocked! Well, that's absolutely true! The Tollywood King, Nagarjuna expresses his regret for 'Tollywood'. He says that the word Tollywood should not be used because it is something like a copy from Hollywood.

He made these comments during one of the episodes of the Small Screen Biggest Game Show " Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu". He said that he rather prefers to call it  "Telugu Film Industry" than calling it Tollywood. So, what do you think guys? Do you agree with it? Does it look like a copy from Hollywood?

King Nagarjuna said "I'm not in favour of calling film industries with Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, Sandalwood. Because, Hollywood is a place there and applying the same here is not apt. Along with me, many of the stars doesn't like them."

Nag also added that many actors don't like to be called as Tollywood, Kollywood  and so on. They rather prefers being addressed as the Telugu Film industry, Tamil Film Industry. In the past even Kamal Hassan made the same comments about being called as Kollywood.
