NTR's Janatha Garage Premiere on MaaTV on 23rd October

The first worldwide Television premiere of NTR's latest blockbuster 'Janatha Garage' is all set to be telecast on MAA TV on 23rd October. Just days ahead of this telecast, a section of NTR's fans have started a negative campaign against this noted channel.

It may be recalled that Janatha Garage hit theatres on September 1st and the TV premiere is happening just after the film completes 50 days of run. NTR's fans are said to be angry at MAA TV for telecasting the blockbuster film on Television so early. They reason that the film is still running in considerable number of theatres across the Telugu states.

Fans of NTR do have a point but the situation is not as worse as they are making it look like. Gone are the days when films used to run for 100 days and then get telecast on TV. Even blockbusters films of recent times have reportedly not generated much revenue after 50 days of theatrical run. JG is of course running in a few theatres but the collections are reportedly very minimal. TV premiere won't affect much.

MAA TV must not be blamed for this early telecast since while cracking a huge satellite deal with the film's producers the channel had informed in advance about the early telecast. This will be helpful for the channel to recover the their huge investment in the form of ads whereas NTR and the production house can also boast of high TRP Rating which is bound to come in case of early screening on TV.

Fans must understand this and make the TV premiere as well a big hit.

Perfect Pre-release business for Baahubali

Ace director SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning had smashed all box office records is still the highest south Indian grosser. Tollywood analysts have introduced a new term 'Non-Baahubali records', as it is highly impossible for any film to reach the heights of the Prabhas and Rana starrer film.

Perhaps to take part in the Baahubali series or to take advantage of first part, distributors are spending mammoth prices to obtain distribution rights.

Freshly, Om Manikanta films has acquired Baahubali: The Conclusion East Godavari rights by shelling out ever best price for the area of Rs 9.6 crore as an outright deal, which means the distributor can't claim for reimbursement from producers if he incur losses.

Seems like, Baahubali 2 pre-release business will easily cross the full run shares of the beginning part. So, producers will pocket massive profits prior to the film's release.

Rajamouli never disappointed producers, buyers and audiences hitherto. But, pressure will be high on him as expectations are sky high on Baahubali 2. Hope, he will not disappoint this time too!

Bunny's One More Feat Like Gona Gannareddy!

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is reportedly taking special training to get perfect accent to play the role of a Brahmin in his new film 'Duvvada Jagannadham' aka DJ.

Bunny will be seen essaying a character with two different shades in DJ. One of them will be a Brahmin. To get the perfect Brahmin accent, Bunny is reportedly undergoing training with the help of two Brahmins. Speaking Brahmin accent is not an easy job and it needs perfection in pronunciation. Known for his dedication and hard work, Bunny will surely master the accent before he joins the sets.

It may be recalled that Bunny had earlier undergone similar accent training to prepare for the role of Gona Gannareddy in 'Rudhramadevi'. Everyone knows the impact created by Bunny with that iconic Telugu warrior character. Bunny's slang and look of Gannareddy were major highlights.

We expect similar impact from Bunny's Brahmin character in DJ, the regular shoot of which will start from October 21. Bunny will be joining the sets in the second schedule, which will start in early November. To be directed by Harish Shankar, the film will be produced by Dil Raju.

Tamil Nadu is jealous with this honor bestowed upon a Telugu star? and Demanding?

Local star Prabhas has become nationwide popular post the groundbreaking success of 'Baahubali'. Besides garnering national and international honors, the VFX extravaganza was also a runaway hit at the box office.

The latest feather in Prabhas's well decorated cap is the honor of Madame Tussauds. The world famous wax museum has come forward to install the wax statue of Prabhas in its Bangkok branch, which hosts the wax statues of only two other Indians, Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It seems that media of Tamil Nadu is jealous with this honor bestowed upon a Telugu star.

A leading Tamil daily has recently published a demeaning article on Prabhas's honor. It printed the opinion of Tamil celebrities. 'If Prabhas could get a wax statue, why not the same honor was bestowed upon relatively much bigger Tamil cinema legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan,' said the jealous media house. A few Tamil celebs allegedly recommended for the installation of wax statues of yesteryear Tamil cinema legends MGR and Sivaji Ganeshan too.

Honor as To be Gained, but not to Demand, What say Readers?

'Instead of feeling proud as a South Indian actor has achieved this rare honor, Tamil media is resorting to these embarrassing acts,' Telugu movie lovers rue. Will the Telugu film fraternity respond at least now?

First Look: Goutamiputra Satakarni

The first look of Balakrishna's most-awaited Gautamiputra Satakarni is out. Royal Balakrishna dressed in traditional outfit, is seen sitting on Simhasanam. The first look leaves a spell-binding impact. After the pre-first look caught attention of many, needless to say that the first look has taken it to the new high. Touted to be a historic epic the film chronicles the life of Telugu warrior Satakarni who had earlier ruled India.

Shriya Saran will be seen as queen alongside Balayya in the high-budget flick directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. While  yesteryear Bollywood actress Hema Malini is essaying the role of Rajamatha Gautami, another noted Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi is playing a pivotal role.

Meanwhile, GPSK teaser will be unveiled on Oct 11 at 10.15 AM, on the auspicious eve of Vijaya Dasami. The film's audio is expected to be launched in December where as the film is slated for Jan 12 release for Sankranthi.

Chandu Showcased Nag And Venky Perfectly

Premam, the coming-of-age musical-romantic comedy film directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is getting rave response. Nagarjuna and Venkatesh played original roles of Naga Chaitanya's dad and uncle respectively in the film.

The cameos have come out as pleasant surprise for viewers and seem to be big advantage for the film. In fact, fans are happy to see the senior actors in brief roles alongside the young Chaitu.

Since director Chandoo Mondeti altered script without spoiling soul of the original, it is being liked by all section of spectators. And the director rightly used Venkatesh and Nagarjuna for appropriate roles.

Venkatesh was stylish and entertaining in cop avatar. The only sequence of him with Chaitu in college was amusing. Nagarjuna lent voice over, apart from portraying Chaitu's father. His sweet words about love are pleasing.

Naga Chaitanya showed variations in character. It is delight for fans to watch him in Soggadu get-up in pre-climax episode.

Chandoo should be lauded for effectively handling remake of Malayalam cult-classic. He succeeded in dealing both writing and making departments. In fact, it was not an easy job to remake such emotional entertainers.

Congrats to the entire team as the movie has already got hit talk!

NTR With Raghavendra Rao: Mythological Or Socio?

The first taste of Jr NTR's short performance as 'Yama' in Yamadonga have kept us waiting to see him in a mythological role. But, there was no movie of that sorts so far. However, it's now time for Tarak to accept a mythical role with both hands and make the most of it because it's coming from none other than Darshakendra Raghavendra Rao, the filmmaker who stole many hearts with Annamayya, Sriramadasu and Shiridi Sai.

Sources from Film Nagar tell us that Raghavendra Rao is simultaneously working on a big-budgeted mythological script on the sidelines of 'Om Namo Venkateshaya' shoot. We were also informed that Nandamuri's pride Jr NTR is first choice for the film which may hit floors in two years from now, considering the actors prior commitments. Also, we think that Tarak is unarguably one of the best picks for a mythological or socio fantasy flick and nobody can dispute that as he can effortlessly pull off such roles.

The scale of this under-process project is reportedly very huge with high volume of visual effects. If this materializes, it would mark the first collaboration of Jr NTR with legendary Raghavendra Rao, who also worked with young actors like Nithin, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Manchu Manoj. Also, let us look forward to how Raghavendra Rao is going to showcase the leading lady in the film and who it would be.

Currently, the director is filming 'Om Namo Venkateshaya', a devotional film based on the life of Hathiram Baba, with Akkineni Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. S Gopal Reddy is the cinematographer and MM Keeravani is scoring audio tunes for the film.
